Not Forgotten - Letters from the Border Cast

Pano Roditis (Actor 1)
Pano Roditis is a local Sacramento director, sound designer, and actor. He recently graduated from CSU Sacramento with a bachelors in Theatre and a minor in Computer Science. Pano has most recently created art for the Sac Artist Corps in their music group, as well as, a virtual vignette on behalf of Teatro Espejo. Previously he has worked, both on and off stage, at several Sacramento theaters including Sacramento Theatre Company, Teatro Nagüal, Teatro Espejo, and several collegiate productions at CSU Sacramento. Once it becomes possible, he hopes to pursue a professional acting career and eventually get his PhD in Performance Studies so that he can teach at a university level.
Ally Acero (Actor 2)
My name is Ally Acero, I am a 16 year old girl from Sacramento, California. I am bisexual, and a Latina with parents from Mexico and Colombia. I have been acting for about a year now, but acting has been my dream since I was a kid.
Rayden Rogers (Actor 3)
My name is Rayden Rogers im 21 years old and I started acting back in 2016 and have been apart of about 8 productions, this project really makes me happy to give a voice to what I consider the voiceless and get their stories told.
Carissa Gutierrez (Actor 4)
Think globally, act locally. Carissa is an artistic communicator focused on strategic messaging and operations optimization. In short, she’s all about getting the right message across and breaking down silos. She is dedicated to managing interdisciplinary cultural projects with an emphasis in gender and community issues. She graduated with a BA in Political Economy and Social Philosophy and a minor in Spanish Literature and Language from the University of California at Berkeley. She currently leads as the communications manager for the California Coalition Against Sexual Assault and as a board member of the Latino Center of Art and Culture. She holds true that all oppression is interconnected and collective liberation is the ultimate goal. Striving for balance, she rows for her local club, walks her dog, competes in pun competitions and works on puzzles.
Irene Velasquez (Actor 5)
Irene has worked in the theatre business for over 30 years, as an actor, props manager, set dresser, and stage manager. It is always a pleasure to work for Teatro Nagual.
Angel Rodriguez (Actor 6)
Angel Rodriguez is a local Sacramento actor and director. He is a graduate from Sacramento State where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Theatre. He is very grateful for the opportunity to perform through these tough times and to bring Hispanic art to life. He wants to continue to be a part of the arts for the rest of his life, whether it is on stage, backstage, behind a camera, as a director, or as an educator. Angel has had the honor of getting into the shoes of many wonderful roles on stage including Usnavi in In the Heights (Sac State), Rene in Lydia (Teatro Espejo), Juan in La Pastorela de Sacramento (Latino Center of Arts and Culture), Mark Cohen in Rent (West Campus), James in James and the Giant Peach (Sac State), and The Boy in Darkside (Sac State). Angel is incredibly passionate about theater and wants to continue inspiring others and spreading the message that there is a place for EVERYONE on stage.
