About The Crucible

The Newark Academy Arts Department Presents- Our Fall Drama, The Crucible, by Arthur Miller.

“The Crucible” by Arthur Miller written in 1953, was inspired by the Salem Witch trials that took place in Massachusetts during the late 17th century. It’s themes of truth, justice and deceit are incredibly relevant in today’s social, cultural and political climate. Our production, composed of eighteen upper school students, a dozen stage crew members and several NA faculty members is a must see! Please join us in engaging with this provocative play and the dedicated students who have worked hard to bring it to life!
