The Mystery of Edwin Drood Creative
Production Stage Manager/Vice President
Evvy BlatsteinEvvy Blastein is a sophomore and this is her 4th show at BHS. She is very excited for this show because of all the work that has gone into it. She is an active member of the Interact Club and Reading Railroad, and is also in the Gifted program. Evvy would like to thank Conn for getting her involved in drama, Haley and Nicole for being amazing, supportive friends and her mom and dad for being so loving.
Projection Designer
Ian CampbellIan is a freshman projection designer for the Mystery of Edwin Drood. He has previously worked on lighting at the HMS production of Beauty and The Beast Jr. and designed projections for the fall's production of The Heart of Robin Hood. He also participates in Marching Band, Jazz Band Concert Band and French Club, as well as plays trumpet for St. Mary's in New Kensington. He would like to thank his parents for supporting him in many ways, like providing rides.
Set Chair/Secretary
Hannah FisherHannah Fisher is a senior and has been involved with Drama for 3 years. She has helped build the set for Mr. Burns, Little Shop of Horrors, Chronicles of Narnia, Once Upon an Mattress, and Robin Hood. She is the Treasurer of the Reading Railroad, Secretary of the Drama Club, and participates in the Lit Society and Sapphires. Hannah is attending Waynesburg University for nursing to become a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. She would like to thank her family for encouraging her to join drama which has turned out to be one of her favorite things. Also, to her drama friends for all the unforgettable and extremely fun memories.
Deck Stage Manager/Treasurer
Emma HayesEmma Hayes is a junior and this is her 6th production at BHS. She is the Stage Right Stage Manager and is very excited for everyone to see the show. Emma has previously worked on the Stage Crew for Mr. Burns, The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe, Once Upon Mattress, and the Heart of Robin Hood, and the Sound Crew for Little Shop of Horrors. She also participates in NHS, Student Government, Interact, Relay for Life, Quiz Bowl, Science Olympiad, Lit Society, and Gifted. Emma would like to thank her parents for their patience and support, and her friends for always encouraging her.
Assistant Stage Manager
Kimly HongKimly is a freshman at Burrell High School serving as an assistant stage manager on The Mystery of Edwin Drood. She has previously worked on The Heart of Robin Hood as a member of the set crew. She also participates in Tennis and Track and Field at the high school. In her free time she likes to ski and shop. She is excited to be a stage manager in upcoming years and would like to thank her mom and dad for their support in all her scholastic endeavors.
Projection Designer
Zack JonesZack Jones is a freshman and this his 2nd production at BHS. He is doing projections again after doing it in the Heart of Robin Hood. His future plans are to be involved in film. Zack would like to thank his family, friends and Ian for doing most of the work.
Lead Sound Tech
Daniel KinterDanny Kinter is a junior and this is his 6th production at BHS. He is involved in band, WBUC, and NHS. Danny would like to thank his family for their support and allowing him to use the cars so often. He'd also like to thank K8 for being GR8 all the time. He'd like to remind you to eat your veggies and reduce reuse and recycle! #cancersux
Deck Stage Manager/President
Haley MillerHaley Miller is a senior, and working on her 6th production with the BHS Drama Club. She is the current President of the Drama Club and her previous productions include Mr. Burns, Little Shop of Horrors, The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe, Once Upon a Mattress, and the Heart of Robin Hood. Her other activities are Interact, NHS, Spanish Club, Reading Railroad, and Relay for Life. Next year she will be attending Penn State as a Global and International Studies major. She would like to thant Zack Jones and Ian Campbell for ushering in a technical revolution to the BHS productions.
Hair/Makeup Chair
Anna SiwakAnna Siwak is a senior and this is her 5th production at BHS. She is extremely excited to be the head of hair and makeup this year. Anna also is the President of the Cosmetology Club at NWCTC, Secretary of BHS's Future Business Leaders, and a member is Interact, National Honor Society, and WBUC Broadcast. She plans to pursue her beauty career by continuing to work at her salon and learning continuously. Anna would like to thank her friends and family for continuously supporting her in everything she does.
Lead Scenic Painter
Lindsay TateLindsay Tate is a senior who's been working on sets since her sophomore year as a set painter. Her first set was Little Shop of Horrors. She would like to thank her best friend, Hailey Sabot, for introducing her to Drama Club and pushing her to always better her art.
Lighting Chair
Ella WlodarczykElla is s sophomore lighting tech. She has previously assisted with lighting on The Heart of Robin Hood, Once Upon a Mattress, and the Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe. Ella is a member of the marching band, Quizbowl, and the swim team. In her free time, she likes to read, tease her sister, and go to her grandma’s house. Ulimately, she aspires to finally get enough sleep and become a trophy wife (and ride on a train). My mom because she makes me clean my room and Danny for giving me candy.
