Sam Weiss (Plankton) Sam is an actor at Palmetto Center for the Arts and Columbia Children’s Theater. With 13 shows at Columbia Children’s Theater Sam has played characters such as Fa Zhou in Mulan Jr, Greylag in Honk, and many more. Then after doing 3 online shows with Palmetto Center for the Arts, Sam now makes his diabolical PCA stage debut as Sheldon J. Plankton.

”Look at me now, Mama!” Mary Jayne makes her PCA stage debut as Squidward after playing Boris and Mara in PCA’s fall online production of Help Desk. Former and current favorite musical roles include Mary Poppins, Geppetto, and Nala in Lion King, Jr. with Town Theatre Youth and Big Jule in Town’s Teen Troupe. Whether a practically perfect nanny or overlooked squid, Mary Jayne loves to perform and has recently joined the anchoring staff for RNE TV. She looks forward to many PCA productions in years to come and is thankful for a chance to sing and dance for you.

11th Grade. Autumn Christy (Pearl) is a student in the Palmetto Center for the Arts. She is excited to return to performing in-person again after a challenging year. Autumn’s Credits include: Hairspray, The Addams Family, and 12th Night, and 10 Ways to Survive a Zombie Apocalyspe

Kincaid Cummings is a Senior at Richland Northeast and part of PCA Theatre and Cavplex. Kincaid has been involved in theatre since birth and has been part of many productions such as Shrek The Musical, Addams Family, and She Kills Monster. The Spongebob Musical is Kincaid’s final performance at RNE where he will be taking the stage as Patchy the Pirate. Kincaid plans to attend the College of Charleston after high school and study Engineering.

Karen Aguirre-Sanchez - Karen is pleased to make an appearance at this year’s production. She has enjoyed working with the cast and crew of this performance. Karen always has a passion for theatre and has been performing for many years. She is genuinely grateful for working with the director of the Palmetto Center for the Arts, Mrs. C-C.

8th Grade, Dent Middle School Debut Arial would like to thank her mother and father for allowing her to participate and Mrs. C-C for accepting her.

Graeson Cummings( Larry the Lobster) is a 5th grader at Forest Lake Elementary School. Next year he will be in Twos Academy at Dent Middle School. This is not Graeson’s first time in a show, in fact his mom is a drama teacher and Graeson is usually in the shows helping as tech crew. Graeson is great at standing in for late or absent cast members. Graeson enjoys his Mom’s shows but this time he is in it for real! Also his brother is in the play as Patchy the Pirate. It is his brother’s last show before he goes to college. Graeson is glad he is able to perform with his brother.

My name is Malayah Gibson. My role in the play is a Sardine. This is my 1st time being in a musical in my High school year or lifetime. I am also in track. Another thing is this musical being out of my comfort zone. If I stay in my comfort zone I won't know what other topics I'm interested in. I'm leaving my comfort zone so I can find things that I'm interested in.

Triston Nunez is part of the ensemble of the Spongebob musical. He has been in two shows prior to this show. He is very excited to be part of this musical.

Kai Painter is an actor in the SpongeBob musical. This is their very first show that they have performed live. Kai has always loved acting and singing. They are delighted to finally have the opportunity to perform live for all to see.

Faith Williams (Ensemble) Faith is an 8th grade student who attends Dent Middle School. Her hobbies include making music, singing, and dancing. Wanting to step outside the box, she decided to try theater and join the cast of RNE’s Spring Musical. With the help of everyone creating a humorous yet dedicated environment, she really enjoyed the experience.

Kamyll Alexia Shaner (Ensemble)is currently an eighth-grader at Dent Middle School in their F.A.M.E magnet program. This will be her third debut. Her credits include Aladin jr and Seussical jr. She thanks her wonderful director for having faith in her and her family for believing in her.

Sydney Brown (singer) Sydney Brown is an 8th grade student who attends Dent Middle School. This is her first official musical performance in front of a live audience. She can’t wait to perform and make future performances for the Palmetto Center for the Arts.

Jayden Gaskins (Ensemble) Jayden is a student at Dent Middle School. He is excited to perform with Richland Northeast Highschool in Spongebob the Musical. In the past, he has been in Annie and The Wonder of Music. Jayden would like to thank Mrs. C-C, Ms. Boyd, and Dr. Boatwright for this wonderful opportunity!
