Black Box Film 2021 Cast

Abigail Oberto ("Props")
Abigail (11th grade) is very excited to be a part Oz as her first show at PCA! She is also thrilled to gain experience helping backstage with costumes and makeup. In addition to theatre, Abby loves photography, cooking, and being with her friends. Abby would like to thank her family for their support, and her friends for getting her involved with the production.
Aislinn Ngamcharoenthana ("Cat" and "Jenny")
Linnie (7th grade) is very excited to be in this year's junior high black box production. She really enjoys theatre, and this is her first time being in a show! Other than acting, Linnie delights in horseback riding, downhill skiing, reading fiction novels, and creative writing. Linnie would like to thank her parents for encouraging her to be in the play, supporting her, and spending the extra time to wait for her after school and play practice.
Alex Child ("Google")
Alex is in the 6th grade and she is very excited to be in this wonderful play. Alex has been in 8 plays before this one. Besides acting, she enjoys staying in her bed all day and watching Netflix. Alex would like to thank her parents for driving her to play practice, and her sister for jumping on her so she will wake up and get out of bed.
Bianca Wibowo ("Click Ad 2" and "Click Bait 2")
Bianca is glad to be on stage for her seventh-grade year. Her roles in the past have included an "Oyster "in "Alice Through the Looking Glass" and "Silverware" in "Beauty and the Beast". Other than theatre, Bianca loves playing the violin, running, and spending me with friends and family. She would like to thank God for His never-ending love, her family for always being supportive, and her friends for looking out for her. (1 Corinthians 10:31)
Calvin Burnham (Quix/ "Hair")
Calvin (11th grade) is super excited to perform in a comedy this year, after already having performed in a drama in last year’s "These Shining Lives". In addition to theatre, Calvin also likes to make music and play video games. Calvin would like to thank Abigail Eisner for pushing him to participate in Black Box this year.
Charles Currier ("Announcer" and "Wikipedia Contributor")
Charles (8th grade) is psyched to join a PCA cast for the first time. He caught the “theatre bug” in a review production of “Mary Poppins” with Cape Cod Kids on Broadway a few summers ago. Outside of theatre, Charles is a voracious reader and fan of mythology, an adventurous skier and sailor, and enjoys playing with his very large, slobbering Great Dane.
Davis Michaud (Quax/ "Wardrobe")
Davis is a visual and performing artist who started acting in the 6th grade. Now in 11th grade, he has enjoyed getting involved both on and off the stage in past PCA productions, including “Charlotte’s Web”, and “Joseph and the Technicolor Dream Coat”. He also enjoys painting set pieces, and has won an award for painting the graffiti for the background of “Tracks”. Davis enjoys drawing, photoshop, and spending time with friends.
El Currier (Mom)
El (8th grade) is really looking forward to this show as it is her first full-length performance. She would like to thank her dad for recommending the “Edna Mode” pep-talk from “The Incredibles” for her audition monologue. El would also like to thank her mom for being the “fire under her feet” to keep her practicing.
Elijah Locher (Wizard)
Elijah is in 11th grade and is excited to make his PCA-stage debut with this winter’s Black Box production. After a couple of years helping with tech and lighting for Black Box, he is now taking a role on stage as “The Wizard” in “Oz”. Elijah’s favorite past PCA production was last year’s “These Shining Lives”.
Elizabeth Pelletier ("Amazon")
Elizabeth has been performing for the past 3 years. She has participated in several school plays including “The Elves and the Shoemaker”, “Cry Wolf “ and most recently played “Imogene” in “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever!”. Elizabeth enjoys performing very much and is excited to perform with fellow students from PCA! Elizabeth loves performing for a crowd, but she is even more excited to perform for her parents and her little sister, Paige. She hopes to make them proud!
Greta Geyer (Witch/Glinda)
Greta Geyer is a sophomore and plays “Glinda the Good Witch” and the “Wicked Witch of the East” in this year’s Black Box production of “Oz”. This is Greta’s first show here at PCA, and she is excited to create wonderful memories and integrate herself more deeply in the PCA community. She has been in numerous productions throughout the years, including “Seussical the Musical”. In addition to theatre, Greta also enjoys playing soccer and spending time with loved ones. Greta would like to dedicate her performance to her loving family, for she believes that she would not be the performer she is today without them.
Heidi Geyer (Fiona)
Heidi is in the eighth grade. She hasn’t been in any plays at PCA yet, but she is excited to start. She enjoys skiing, knitting, volleyball, and going to New York to see her cousins. She would like to thank her mom for helping with the costumes for this show.
Holland Brouillette (Tinman)
Holland is happy to be part of PCA theatre in her sophomore year. She looks forward to seeing the many smiling faces this show will bring during such uncertain times. In addition to theatre, Holland also writes. Most of her stories involve facing modern conflicts through historical fiction. Holland would like to thank the many supportive people in her life, such as her parents, grandparents, friends, and teachers.
Kaia Lawrence ("Click Ad 1" and "Click Bait 2")
Kaia is a sixth grader who is thrilled to be a part of this PCA production. Some of her past roles include, "The March Hare" in PCA’s "Alice Through the Looking Glass," "Andrea" in Camp Encore’s "Once on This Island," and "Dot" in PCA’s "Honk." Outside of theatre, Kaia enjoys dancing, reading and baking. Kaia would like to thank her family for being caring and supportive.
Kaleigh McKenney (Beth)
Kaleigh (12th grade) is jazzed (yeah, jazzed) to be participating in “Oz” as her final winter show at PCA. Her favorite past roles include “Pearl” in “These Shining Lives” and “Mrs. Smithe” in “Mary Poppins”. In addition to acting, she enjoys drawing on things that ought not to be drawn on, and short walks on the beach (given that long walks require far too much effort and often result in becoming lost). She would like to dedicate this performance to her amazing director and good friend, Abigail Eisner, because of her patience and abundant joy.
Levi Abbett (Lion)
Levi Abbett is in 9th grade and is ecstatic to be in this production of “Oz”. Levi is an experienced actor and has been in many shows around the seacoast. He also likes singing, hanging out with friends, and playing video games. Levi would like to thank everyone involved in making this production possible.
Mason Roets ("Wikipedia")
Mason is 12 years old and in 7th grade. He has been in three other productions before, playing “Ticktock Croc” and “the Shadow” in “Peter Pan”, a “Who”, “Vlad Valdicov”, and “the Grinch” “in Seussical the Musical”, and “Scuttle” in the “Little Mermaid”. Mason enjoys inventing things, going to church, and practicing Tae Kwan Do. He would like to devote his performance to his wonderful and supportive parents.
Maycie Andress (Micah)
Maycie is in 8th grade and will be playing the role of Micah in “The Internet”. Some of her favorite past roles have been “Willy Wonka” in “Willy Wonka Jr.” and “Melman” in “Madagascar Jr.”. In addition to theatre, Maycie enjoys drawing, playing basketball, and playing volleyball. Maycie would like to thank her parents for helping her practice and encouraging her to do her best.
Nivi Kothimbakam (Taylor)
Nivi is a 7th grader who is excited to be back to acting in PCA theater. Her favorite show that she has been in was last year's PCA production of Guys and Dolls. Outside of theatre, she enjoys arts and hanging out with friends. Nivi would like to thank her parents for supporting her in everything she does!
Owen McKenney ("Facebook" and "Grandma")
Owen (8th Grade) loved performing in "Mary Poppins" because it opened a lot of doors for him, and was tons of fun! In addition to theatre, he also enjoys his favorite sport, cross country. Owen would like to thank his friends and family for supporting him unconditionally, and motivating him through these odd times!
Shelby Smith (Guide/Jill)
Shelby Smith is very excited to be in PCA’s winter production of "Oz" in her junior year. She is looking forward to being able to explore different areas of the performing arts world through this show. Shelby enjoys playing music and rowing. She would like to thank her parents and sister for being supportive, and being able to accommodate her busy rehearsal schedule.
Thomas Osborne (Scarecrow)
Thomas has enjoyed being a part of this production of “Oz” for his senior year, working with fellow cast and crew members to bring this story to life. In addition to theatre, Thomas enjoys drawing, photography, reading, and spending time in nature. Thomas would like to thank his family and friends for all they do to encourage and support his interests in theatre and the arts.
Zuri Wemple (Mark)
Zuri Wemple is in 7th grade and new to PCA. He is excited to play the role of Mark. His favorite past roles include “Jack” from “Into the Woods” at St. Johns Church, and “Michael” in “Elf “with the Rep at Star Theatre. When he’s not on the stage, he enjoys making YouTube videos, taking pictures, and ripsticking around the neighborhood. Zuri would like to thank his Mom for her continued support.
