The Drowsy Chaperone Cast

Victoria Sorensen (Janet Van de Graaff)
Victoria is a sophomore appearing in her first Blackfriars musical, although she was a cast member of the Blackbox productions THE ARSONISTS and SENSE AND SENSIBILITY. Her interest in music began early, when she sang in choir in second grade. Later she was cast in SEUSSICAL and FAME. Victoria placed first chair in the TPSMEA choral competition in 8th grade, and was recently named to the TPSMEA All-State Choir.
Jada Nwigwe (The Chaperone)
Jada is a junior from St. Patrick School, who has appeared in numerous musical including BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, and SEUSICAL. Her Blackfriars credits include FOOTLOOSE, MAME, and THE ALUMNI REVUE. Jada is a BL Ambassador and a member of NHS, NLHS, A Cappella Choir and the Women's Select Choir. She has been named to the All Region Treble Choir twice.
Noah Kilpatrick (Underling)
Noah is a senior currently serving in NHS, Mu Alpha Theta and Choir Leadership. He is a member of the A Cappella Choir and is the Student Director of Men's Ensemble. Noah is a 3-year-member of the TPSEA All Region and All-State Choirs. This production is the seventh for Noah; previous Blackfriars credits include "A Midsummer Night's Dream," "The Arsonists" and "Sense and Sensibility" in the Blackbox Theatre, musicals "High School Musical" and "Mame" and the TAPPS One-Act Play "The Robe."
Audrey Clay (Mrs. Tottendale)
Audrey is an experienced Blackfriar, appearing in her 10th production. Previous credits include MURDER ON THE NILE, THE ARSONISTS, MAME, SENSE AND SENSIBILITY, A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM and FOOTLOOSE. She has also appeared in LES MISERABLES AND CHILDREN OF EDEN at Dallas Young Artists. Audrey is a member of the A Cappella Choir and serves as student director for Harmony Show Choir. She plans to pursue a degree in Theater Education.
Ethan Green (Man in Chair)
Ethan is a second generation Friar whose previous Blackfriars credits include THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST, MURDER ON THE NILE, and THE VISIONS OF SIMONE MACHARD. He served on the crew for SENSE AND SENSIBILITY and MAME. As a student at St. Patrick’s School, Ethan played the Lion in WELCOME TO THE JUNGLE and the Beast in BEAUTY AND THE BEAST.
Anthony Gonzales (Aldolpho)
Anthony is a junior making his first ever musical debut as Aldolpho. He has appeared in several Blackfriars Blackbox productions including THE ARSONISTS, SENSE AND SENSIBILITY and THE VISIONS OF SIMONE MACHARD. Anthony is also a member of the A Cappella Choir and enjoys singing, sleeping and writing.
Davis Chen (Robert Martin)
Davis Chen is a 2-year-Blackfriar; he played Lindsey Woolsey in last year's production of MAME. Davis attended St. John's Episcopal School, where he earned his previous credits including THE LION KING and XANADU. Davis is also in Natoinal Honor Society and the Asian American Club.
Kingsley Nwabeke (George)
Kingsley plays the best man George in his first Blackfriars musical. A junior who graduated from St. Pius X Catholic School, he is a charismatic leader both on and off campus.
Charlie Dickson (Feldzieg)
Lorenzo Curran (Gangster/Chef)
Lorenzo, a freshman from Mary Immaculate School, is a member of A Cappella Choir, Men's Ensemble, and TPSMEA All Region Mixed Choir. As a Blackfriar, he competed in the 2019 TAPPS One-Act Play "The Robe." Since 2018 he has appeared in nine productions at North Texas Performing Arts (Dallas/Plano/Frisco) as Old Man Marley, Prince Eric, Aladdin, Feuilly, George Banks, Perchik, Fagin, Rapunzel's Prince, and Tin Man. Off stage, Lorenzo take private voice and tap dance lessons, plays classical guitar, serves as a Life Scout, and enjoys mahjong.
Aidan Humason (Gangster #1)
This is Aidan’s second appearance in a Blackfriars musical. He played Ralph Devine in MAME last year. Aidan attended ST. Paul the Apostle School and now, as a sophomore he participates in football, wrestling, choir and is the event director for the Gaming Club. Aidan has played Smee in PETER PAN, The Mad Hatter in ALICE IN WONDERLAND, Lumier in BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, and Pontius Pilate in THE STATIONS OF THE CROSS.
Anna Riley (Trix the Aviatrix)
Anna is a junior appearing in her third Blackfriars production. Her previous credits include FOOTLOOSE and MAME as well as productions at St. Joseph School in Arlington. Anna is a BL Ambassador, a member of NEHS, and the co-captain of her Ricci House Mentor Group.
