Disaster! Cast

Ezekiel Tomas, also known as Zeke, playing the role of Chad, is extremely excited to be a part of the Disaster! The Musical cast. Zeke is a senior at West Career & Technical Academy and is majoring in the Information Technology program. He loves music with a strong passion, and especially loves performing, as he is West Tech's current national anthem singer for the assemblies. He would like to thank his family and friends in the cast for supporting him in this year's musical.

Spencer Clingo has been performing in musicals roles for four and a half years. He first performed in Mulan Jr. at his middle school, and since then, has performed as Aladdin in Aladdin Jr., Lin in Mulan Jr. He has also performed at the Smith Center with Zions Youth Symphony and Chorus on 7 different occasions, having taken a lead role in his very first production with them.

Trenton Saroya is a Senior and President of the International Thespian Society here at Wrangler Theater. He has been in Theater productions for 3 years and has participated in almost every single show since then. Trenton loves performing with his friends and would like to thank Ms.Young for giving him the opportunity to perform and lead an amazing group.

This is Kaitlyn’s fifth show with Wrangler Theater, and she is more excited than ever to be on the stage! Her previous roles include Tilly in “It’s a Wonderful Life,” Elle Woods in “Legally Blonde Jr.,” and many more memorable parts! Kaitlyn’s love for theater sprouts from her love for its community. She loves to spend time both on and off stage with her best friends. She would like to thank her parents and Ms. Young for their unconditional support and encouragement!

Iago Lashua is a Jr. at WCTA, and has previously been in Mulan, A Christmas Carol, It’s a Wonderful Life, Laramie Project, and Medea. He has been a member of Wrangler Theater for 3 years and loves Space.

Emma Baroya is a Junior in the Digital Media program. This year is her third year in Wrangler Theater and plans on continuing next year. In past productions, she has played the role of Christmas Past in A Christmas Carol, Zuzu in It's a Wonderful Life, Yao in Mulan, Medea in Medea, and is looking forward to playing Jackie in this year's production of Disaster!

Owen is a junior at West CTA. He Has been apart of Wrangler Theater for Two years. He performed in last year’s show, Mulan Jr., as Zhang one of the ancestors.

Janay is always smiling. She loves singing and has singing experience, she has song at Carnegie Hall in New York. This is her first year in in wrangler theater.

Rowan is excited to be in his first West Tech production. Past Roles: Oliver Twist (Oliver!), Igor (Young Frankenstein), Sebastian (The Little Mermaid Jr.), The Dauphin (Marie Antoinette), Pepper (Mamma Mia!), Louis (The King and I), Jojo (Newsies), Carlos (Legally Blonde), Busboy (She Loves Me). He is in the Dance Company here at West Tech and has been acting for 8 years.

As a senior at West Tech, Kalen's passion for theater has only grown with each performance, including After the Death of Anna Gonzales, Legally Blonde Jr., The Laramie Project, It's A Wonderful Life, and Mulan Jr. Kalen truly appreciates the hard work and support from her family, cast, crew, Ms. Easter, and Ms. Young. Wrangler Theater will always hold a special place in her heart, and she is excited to be a part of Disaster!

Kaitlyne Ibay is a junior in the nursing program at West Career and Technical Academy. Some of her previous roles are: Grandma Fa in Mulan Jr., Clarence Oddbody in It's a Wonderful Life, Ursula in The Little Mermaid Jr., and Genie in Aladdin Jr. Outside of theater, she enjoys dancing, writing, and crafting.

Jenni is thrilled to be apart of her 8th Wrangler Theater Production. Some of her favorite parts in shows were Brooke Wyndham in Legally Blonde, a Juror in 12 Angry Jurors, and the narrator in The Laramie Project. She wants to thank her family and friends for all their love and support in her love for theater! :)

This is Claire’s third year of being a part of the Wrangler Theater family and she’s absolutely thrilled to be in another musical. When she’s not on stage, Claire enjoys singing, debating, and doing her nails.

Parker is a sophomore at West Tech in the Sports Medicine program. Last year, she played the Emperor of China in West Tech’s production of Mulan Jr. She has always loved singing and acting and hopes to continue theater in the future.

Ashley Byers is a Freshman student at West. She is playing in the ensemble and her previous roles has been Gaston in "Beauty in the Beast, Mayor in "Music Man", and ensemble in "Lion King" put on in her middle school. She has a real passion for musical theater and is very excited to be performing in "Disaster! the musical."

Hi, my name is Avi and I’m a junior. This is my 8th show here at West, third musical. I’ve previously played Pilar in Legally Blonde the Musical Jr and various ensemble parts in Mulan Jr. I’m so excited for this show because it’s so different from what we’ve done and so funny. Theater at West is honestly such a fun place and I’m so happy to be a part of it.

Tabs is excited to be back for another show in her Junior year. She has been in past shows for Wrangler Theater such as Legally Blonde, Laramie Project, and Mulan. She hopes to continue her path in theater after Disaster! and beyond.

Drake Avisado is a second year nursing student at West Career and Technical Academy. This is Drake’s first Wrangler Theater production and enjoys spending time with the WCTA Dance Company.

Samuel Ma is a freshman performing in Disaster! as his first musical. He is highly interested in theater and is hoping to push that even further onto a professional level. He is very new to theater with this year being the first he learns the art. In the past, he has performed as Lanny from "After the Death of Anna Gonzales."

Erin Byers has preformed in many productions. She has preformed in musicals such as The Lion King, The Librarian in Beauty and The Beast, an Marcellus Washburn in The Music Man. She has also participated in many different plays such as Medea is the production of Medea, Deputy Governor Danforth in Crucible, and Fleance in Macbeth. She is excited for future productions and she can't wait to see where theater takes her in her future.

During Darylle’s senior year at this school, she’s so happy to leave this program watching her classmates absolutely thrive in this Disaster! of a musical. After 8 shows, 5 plays, 4 theater award shows, and 3 musicals, she can’t thank everything that this program is enough for everything it’s done for her. Now it’s time for her to take on theater at the University of Nevada Reno this fall!

Renz, who played as Captain Shang in Mulan jr. last year, is returning as the Wealthy Husband, Couple, and understudy for Maury. He has a very keen fascination with animals, especially those originating from Order Rodentia. His favorite movie is Ratatouille.

Kat Woolford, she’s a sophomore this year and inspired actress who’s loved acting since she was young. She was inspired to become an actress because in her times of need the art of music and dance helped her! She reaches to help others through the same way. She’s been in 4 musical productions before now; this is her first musical at West Career and Technical Academy but she knows it definitely won’t be her last! Enjoy the show!

This is Nazret first musical performance in 4 years. Nazret loves to perform and has a very interesting dancing background. She enjoys her theater program and is glad to be part of this performance.

Anna Janumov is a junior currently attending West Career and Technical Academy. She has been involved with her school's theater program for three years. Janumov has also previously played the roles of Mr. Martini and Charlie in "It's a Wonderful Life," and Kinderlyn Hovoticich in "After the Death of Anna Gonzales."

Rachell Mitchell is a junior at West Career and Technical academy in the sport medicine program. Her previous role are Mushu in Mulan Jr. As a third year theater student, she enjoys singing, dancing, acting, and laughing. She would like to thank her parents for her support and Ms.Young for all her opportunities.

Sadie Leaver is currently a sophomore in the Graphic Design/Digital Media program. She has a twin brother and an older sister (senior) also at West. In addition to participating in ‘Disaster’, Sadie is also involved in ASL club, Archery Club, and the school Mountain Bike team. She has grown up watching musicals and attending performances for many years and is excited to be participating in her first one for West Tech!
