EMMA TRUE: Teen Detective COMPANY

LC Bowen (Narrator)
LC is very excited to work with the company again this year. Last year she was a member of the tech crew and also played various monsters in WSA’s production of She Kills Monsters. Prior to coming to West Sound Academy she attended the Options Program, where she participated in numerous school plays, her favorite being the role of Buttercup in The Princess Bride. LC would like to thank her parents, pets, and brother for being so accommodating during this process.
Andrew Corbo (Greg)
Andrew enjoyed his Drama Elective in the beginning of the year so when the Pandemic Radio Theatre Company started up at WSA Andrew was one of the first students to join us. He has had a TON of fun working on Emma True: Teen Detective. Andrew would like to thank his past Band Teacher, Mr. Logan, for inspiring him to participate in the performing arts and his parents for all their love and support through the production process. He hopes you enjoy the show!
Liliana Duarte (Gossip Girl #2)
Lili has totally enjoyed participating in the creation of Emma True: Teen Detective. This is her first foray into performing and producing theatre. Lili is very proud to be a member of the WSA Pandemic Theatre Company and is thrilled to be a part of this original radio drama. She says she might be short on acting experience but she makes up for it with enthusiasm and dedication. When she is not rehearsing Lili enjoys playing music, gardening, and cooking. She would like to thank her parents and sister for supporting her in this new journey.
Arlea Forbes-Prater (Mildred)
Arlea attended the Options Program, where she participated in numerous school productions. Her most notable roles were that of Botticelli in The Tale of Despereaux, and Vizzini in The Princess Bride, her personal favorite. From a young age, Arlea has been drawn to music and musical theatre, and she plays violin, piano, and guitar, and writes and sings her own songs. Arlea is hugely indebted to her wonderful parents, Karena Forbes and Joe Prater, as well as to her previous teachers Nat Smith and Tim Wilkinson, for inspiring her creative and artistic endeavors. Finally, she would like to thank Ms. Nordleaf for hurdling the obstacles of distance learning, finding a way to continue theatre remotely and making this project a unique and enjoyable experience.
Genna Johnson (Darcy)
Genna has appeared on the WSA stage in two productions of She Kills Monsters and See How They Run. She was also Co-Stage Manager for last winter’s production of The Importance of Being Earnest. She has also been in musicals outside of school, including Peter Pan, The Little Mermaid, The Pirates of Penzance, and many more. Genna would like to thank her family and friends for their support during this production. She hopes you enjoy the show!**
Jonnie Love (Student & Lady Detective)
has worked on the technical crew for two productions at WSA Almost, Maine, and She Kills Monsters. Jonnie feels that working on the radio play style has been fun and definitely a new experience. She would like to thank West Sound Academy for this opportunity as well as her parents and grandparents for their support.**
Chayton Martinez (Rupert Cornell)
has enjoyed working with the cast and crew of Emma True: Teen Detective. Chayton would like to thank his family for their love and support through the rehearsal process. He hopes you enjoy the show!
Nascha Martinez (Tia Cartwright)
Nascha is very excited to be a part of the WSA Pandemic Theatre Company this year. Her previous performance experience includes performing the role of Annie in A Ghost Tale for Charles Dickens and she rapped/sang in a production of Hamilton Jr. She has recently taken up piano and quite enjoys it. Nascha would like to thank her parents, her brother, Ms. Nordleaf, and the entire cast and crew of Emma True for their enthusiasm and support.
Kieran Merrifield-Peterman (Jess)
Kieran is happy that he is creating theatre with the WSA Pandemic Theatre Company this year. When not rehearsing the show he enjoys doing martial arts and playing the piano. Kieran would like to thank his fellow members of the theatre company for their positive energy and support and the director, Ms. Nordleaf, for believing in him. He is excited to share the radio play with an audience and he hopes you enjoy the show!
Ellie Osborn (Aunt Nellie & Tina Minolla)
Ellie made her debut on the West Sound Academy stage in Girls to the Rescue and the June Term Devised production of Who Are You Really? Last winter she was a member of the technical staff for WSA’s production of The Importance of Being Earnest. Ellie is not new to the theatre scene and has participated in thirteen local community productions including Virtual Theatre’s Shakespeare Showcase, Bye Bye Birdie, Pirates of Penzance, and Masquerade. She would like to thank her family for their continuous support as well as the cast, crew and directors of Emma True. Enjoy the Show!
Abbigail Parkes (Mina Minolla)
Abbi is excited to be working on her third production at West Sound Academy. She made her acting debut with the West Sound Theatre Company in She Kills Monsters and then worked backstage as the Prop Master for The Importance of Being Earnest. She enjoys playing guitar and collecting comic books when she isn’t making theatre. She would like to thank her mother and father for all of the love and support they give her as she follows her passions and Ms. Nordleaf for giving her the opportunity to participate in this show.**
Madelynn Prasch (Gossip Girl #1)
Maddie is thrilled to be able to join WSA’s Pandemic Theatre Company this year and participate in her first production. Maddie loves reading all types of literature and fell in love with reading plays last year in English. She would like to thank her family for being supportive of her interests and her friends for convincing her to take a risk and sign up for theatre.
Mariel Price (Ginger St. James and Chelsea)
Mariel is delighted to be in her first production with the West Sound Academy Pandemic Theatre Company. Prior to this Mariel has been in several school plays at her previous school Sunfield Farm & Waldorf School. When she is not participating in theater Mariel enjoys backpacking in the summer and traveling to new places.
Nicole Washington (Oona Hepburn)
has been involved with theatre in the local community and was most recently seen in Annie and Bye Bye Birdie. Nicole is a new member of the WSA Community and is very excited to be participating with the West Sound Academy Pandemic Theatre Company. She would like to thank her family and her teachers for being so supportive of her dreams.
Lollie Wines (Emma True)
Lollie marks her first with the West Sound Academy Pandemic Theatre Company with Emma True: Teed Detective. Her experience on the stage includes several productions during her elementary school years. Tutallee would like to thank her parents and sister, as well as her current and former teachers for paving the way for her to get here. She hopes you enjoy the show!
