Charley's Aunt Cast

Joey Pruitt (Jack Chesney)
Joey is 36 years old, happily married to his wife, Abbie, and the father of four children ranging in ages from fifteen to two. He would like to thank his aforementioned family for their patience and understanding during the arduous rehearsal process that has led to this performance of Charley’s Aunt. He would like to take this moment to reassure the audience that no one was (seriously) injured during the lead-up to this show. He would also like to reiterate the word seriously in the prior statement. This is his second performance at WLT, his first time being ANNIE the Musical where he had several roles. He intends to perform again soon, provided his family continues to tolerate his absence.
Dustin Goss (Charley Wykeham)
Dustin is a native of Greene County. He currently lives in Augusta where he attends Augusta University and is majoring in cyber security. He has two siblings, a younger brother and a younger sister. In high school he played football and baseball. This is his second play with WLT, his first being ANNIE the Musical when he was introduced to theater by his girlfriend, Lydia Norman, who is a veteran of WLT.
Scott Brown (Lord Fancourt "Babbs" Babberley)
Scott Brown, a native of Wilkes County, is an alum of the University of Montana. His wife, Frankie, is the art teacher at Lincoln County High School. Together, they are adamant supporters of local arts and theater. This is Scott's fourth production with WLT, having previously performed in A Christmas Carol (2017), Mama Won't Fly, and ANNIE the Musical.
Taylor Madden (Sir Colonel Francis Chesney)
Taylor was born in Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada. He moved to Washington in 2010 with his parents, Kevin and Alicia Madden, and his brother, Noah. This is his seventh production with WLT. His previous work includes The Little Mermaid, The American Revolution, Oliver! The Musical, The Last Supper, ANNIE the Musical, and The Cross of Christ. Taylor is a homeschool graduate and currently works as a mechanic at Max's Automotive. He enjoys working on vehicles, fourwheeling and computer gaming.
Shannon Bentley (Kitty Verdun)
Shannon began acting in 2006 with the Area Children's Theater (ACT) in Warrenton, Georgia. She has performed in 20 plays, having had the lead role in several, including Mary Poppins, Shakespeare's Twelfth Night, As You Like It, and The Taming of the Shrew. She has also worked on crew for several productions and in 2016 she directed her first play, The Somewhat True Tale of Robinhood. She served as vice-chair on the ACT Board of Directors for two years and was the resident director from 2018-2020. In her ninth year of voice lessons, Shannon is a student of Sandra Crawford in Augusta, Georgia. This is her fourth play with the Washington Little Theater (WLT), having co-starred as Meg in Little Women the Musical, assisted as crew in Southern Fried Funeral, and played Fred's wife Julia in A Christmas Carol (2017).
Beth LeBlanc (Amy Spettigue)
This is Beth's ninth production with WLT and her fifth main-stage play. Her first time acting was in 2015 when she played Chava in Fiddler On The Roof. After that she continued acting at our theater by playing Beth March in Little Women the Musical in the spring of 2016, Belle in A Christmas Carol in the winter of 2017, Cecille the maid in ANNIE the Musical in the winter of 2018, and also in our Summer Drama Camps by acting and volunteering backstage from 2015-2020. When not acting, she teaches piano and works at Fievet's Pharmacy. She also enjoys baking, helping her sister raise and show Silkie Bantam Chickens, babysitting, playing badminton and taking care of her 13-year-old Beagle, Joseph. She has enjoyed playing Amy in this show and is excited to be bringing our show to the stage!
Emma Moore (Ela Delahay)
Emma Moore is a freshman at the University of Georgia. She has been in Briarwood Academy productions of Peter Pan, Suessical the Musical, Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat, Once Upon a Mattress, and Annie. She has also participated in The Princess King, Alice in Wonderland, The Greek Mythology Olympiaganza, and Order-Up! at WLT during Summer Drama Camp. She also participated in WLT's ANNIE the Musical in 2018. She also participated in the 2018 National Festival Chorus at Carnegie Hall and was a part of chorus and One-Act at Briarwood.
Sherri Bowers (Donna Lucia d'Alvadorez)
Sherri Bowers has accompanied several WLT musicals on the piano, including Fiddler on the Roof (2015), My Fair Lady, Oliver!, The Spitfire Grill and ANNIE the Musical. She has also had acting roles in Graceland, Southern Fried Funeral, Mama Won’t Fly, and A Christmas Carol (2017). She and her husband, Steve Dobbs, live in Danburg, Georgia, where she plays the organ and teaches the adult Sunday School class at Danburg Baptist Church.
Ashley Caldwell (Mr. Stephen Spettigue)
A logger by trade, Ashley has been interested in acting from a young age but never took to the stage until some years ago when his wife encouraged him to audition for Walking Across Egypt, where he got the role of Lamar, and has since also performed as Uncle Dub in Southern Fried Funeral. He is married to Sabrina Caldwell and they have two twin daughters, Casey and Lacy. In his spare time he enjoys fishing, gardening, and making videos.
Nicholas Schneider (Brassett)
Nicholas joined WLT last year for Children's Playhouse and recently helped with Summer Drama Camp this past year. This is his first time acting in a mainstage production and he has really enjoyed it. Outside of theater, he enjoys anime, movies, video games, and comics. Some of his favorite anime include Dragon Ball and Sword Art Online. He is a music-nerd with an eclectic taste and is always looking for people to share songs with. Some of his favorite groups include Blue Oyster Cult, Led Zeppelin, and Queen.
Freddy Peel (Himself)
He's an awful idiot that hasn't a particle of brains. At least he would have stood by the gents like a man.
