Roald Dahl's Matilda The Musical Cast

Emily Baldwin is a rising senior at West Boylston High School. She has been in numerous productions, and this is her fourth year with Vanilla Box Productions. Some of her favorite roles include Kim (Bye, Bye, Birdie), Mrs. White (Clue), Niki (Curtains), and Lisa (Mama Mia). She just finished her 13th year od dance and has been taking voice lessons with John Leslie for around 3 years. She is the new president of Thespian Society at her school. She is very excited to be performing with this cast!

This is Cienna’s 5th year with Vanilla Box Productions and she is thrilled to be back for another show. She is a rising junior and attends Holy Name High School. Her most recent shows include Suessical, The Pirates of Penzance, and Cinderella. Aside from being in shows, she has taken private voice lessons for 4 years. Cienna would like to thank all of the Vanilla Box staff for their hard work and dedication. She hopes you enjoy the show.

Ioni Bishop is so excited to be doing her third show with Vanilla Box Productions. She will be playing Lavender, which is a dream role for her. Ioni is 12 years old and will be entering 7th grade in the fall. Some of her favorite roles are Lee in Grey Gardens and Violet Beauregard in Willa Wonka Jr. She would like to thank her family for always loving and supporting her. She would also like to thank the Segers for all the wonderful experiences and fun during camp.

Eva is 11 years old and going into the 7th grade at Holy Name. She has been part of Vanilla Box Productions for 5 years now. Eva has been a part of Vanilla Box since she was 6 years old in the downstage camp. Her dream role is to be a villain. Outside of theatre, Eva is a dancer at The Dance Place Studio. She has done tap, lyrical and theatrical jazz. She hopes to be on Broadway some time in the future.

Evie Bousbouras has spent the past 11 years with Vanilla Box Productions and loves and appreciates everything the Segers have taught her. She is going into her junior at Holy Name High School where she is also a part of the school chorus and the drama club. Some of her favorite roles have been JoJo in Seussical, Nick in Godspell, and Amahl in Amahl and the Night Visitors, along with various other roles. Additional activities she enjoys is skiing with her family and writing and creating her own music.She also sings in a band.

Ivy Brown is playing the role of Eric in Matilda. She is going into 7th grade. Ivy has been a part of Vanilla Box Productions for 3 years now. She played the role of one of the Wickersham Brothers in last summer’s production of Suessical. Ivy’s favorite shows that she has been a part of are Willy Wonka, Suessical and The Lion King.

Lucas Claydon is 9 years old and entering the fourth grade. Lucas wants to be a black belt in Kung Fu. Lucas really likes playing baseball, video games and hanging out with his friends. He also has always enjoyed dancing, loves movies and going to Broadway plays. Lucas has seen The Wizard of Oz, Wicked & Shrek and he also supports the Jr/Sr High School plays in his town. This is Lucas’ first time being in a play, he’s making lots of new friends and is very excited to be a part of this show!

Hailey Cross is 13-year-old 8th grade student from Worcester, MA. She has had a passion for dance from a very young age. Hailey has been dancing for 9 years at New England Dance Center. She's been dancing for her studio’s traveling competition team for the past 5 years now. She gives credit to her dance teachers at New England Dance Center (Nikki Barris, Tee Minton Jr, Jazmine Johnson, Cristin Torrey, Michelle Philippe & Chrissy Duque). Hailey is a soloist and also does many other forms of dance. She has traveled all over New England for competitive dance competitions and has won many awards and high scores. Most recently she placed 2nd Place Overall for her solo in Musical Theater. Hailey has preformed in Disney World with her dance team in 2018 and is preforming there again in the spring of 2020. This past spring Hailey had the pleasure of meeting Christine Seger. She was one of the judges at one of her dance competitions. It was then that she was offered to join Vanilla Box Product

Ariana Marie Davieau is so excited for another year of summer theater camp. She is fifteen years old and going to be attending Worcester Technical High School as a sophomore. This is her seventh year with Vanilla Box. Some of the past shows she has performed in has been Seussical, Godspell, School of Rock, and The Wizard of Oz. Outside of theater, Ariana enjoys playing field hockey and softball.

Madeline has previously been in Suessical with Vanilla Box Productions and Pirates of Penzance at Holy Name. She is going into her sophomore year at Holy Name High School. She is very excited to be here for her second year with Vanilla Box Productions.

This is Zoe's 4th year with Vanilla Box Productions. She has previously performed in School of Rock, Godspell and The Lion King Jr. in addition to performing in shows at her middle school. Outside of her theatre experience, Zoe is also a competitive cheerleader at Spirit Central.

This is Danielle’s 5th year with Vanilla Box Productions. She is and has been in over 20 shows. Her favorite roles have been Gertrude in Suesical and Fiona in Shrek. She is excited to be in Matilda, the first Broadway show she saw. She will also be in Newsies and Mamma Mia later this summer.

Cecilia is very excited to be doing her third show with Vanilla Box Productions. Cecilia is a 14-year-old and will be a freshman at the Bromfield School in Harvard in the fall. She first began doing theatre at age 9, and since then, has fallen in love with it. A few of her favorite roles she has portrayed are Mrs. Gloup in Willa Wonka and the Chocolate Factory and Ursula in The Little Mermaid. Matilda is one of her favorite shows, so being a part of this show has been a dream come true for her. She would like to thank her family for their endless love and support of her and her ambitions. She would also like to thank the Seger’s for constantly pushing her to reach her full potential and believing in her so strongly

Alyssa is an incoming college freshman at American International College in Springfield, Massachusetts where she will be studying Forensic Psychology. She has been in love with the stage all her life and has been in over 10 shows. She is no stranger to the work it takes to put on a production, however. At Worcester Tech, her graduating high school, is where she directed her first play Radium Girls. Her dream roles are Velma Kelly in Chicago, Sarah Norman in Children Of A Lesser God, Tracy Turnblad in Hairspray or Maureen in RENT--she just can't pick! Alyssa is very excited to be performing in Matilda as her last show at Vanilla Box Production’s centerstage summer camp. She dedicates this performance to all teenagers who are still searching for the answers that grown-ups need to know.

Kaitlyn is going to be a freshman at Holy Name. She has been doing Vanilla Box for 3 years now. With Vanilla Box she was in Crazy For You, Evita, School of Rock,and now Matilda. At Holy Name when she was in junior high she was in Cinderella and Pirates of Penzance. Outside of theater you will always see her dancing. She has been dancing for 10 years and she has been competing for 8 years. She hopes you enjoy the show as much as she enjoyed performing it. She would like to thank her family and friends for all the love and support along the way.

Kaci Kneeland is thrilled to be back for her fourth summer at Vanilla Box Productions! She is an upcoming senior at Wachusett Regional High School and has had a blast spending her summer break as Mrs. Wormwood. Most recently Kaci was seen as Enid in Stageloft’s Legally Blonde. Kaci has also played Mayzie La Bird in Seussical and Rosalie Mullins in School of Rock,Youth Edition- both here at Vanilla Box Productions- and Cecile Leroux in Is He Dead? at Saint John’s and the Scarecrow in HCT's Wizard of Oz. Kaci would like to thank her family, friends and teachers for all their support.

Delaney is 15 years old and is going to be a junior at Oxford High School. This is her third summer with Vanilla Box Productions. She is normally very quiet and shy, but has found a place for herself on the stage. While she is still quite new to the game, she enjoys learning and growing. Though she has only been in a few productions her favorite role was a Wickersham in her school's production of Seussical, as she was quickly forced to pull herself out of her comfort zone.

Ava Legendre is 12 years old. She is going into the seventh grade. This is her fifth season with Vanilla Box Productions. Being with Vanilla Box is a highlight of her summer. Last summer she was Shenzi in Lion King Jr. This year she is excited for all of the great music in Matilda, especially her part in “Miracle”

Analucia is playing the role of a birthday party parent in Matilda, She is very excited to be in her third Vanilla Box Production show. One of her favorite shows to do was Suessical in which she played a Wickersham Brother. Analucia looks forward to camp every year and can’t wait for years to come.

Tracy Martino is honored to be making her Vanilla Box Productions debut with this amazing cast. It has been a terrific experience working with these extremely talented young people. She is also psyched to finally get to be on stage again with Mr. Grigaitis (it only took 30 years). Tracy is an elementary music teacher in the Shrewsbury Public Schools. She has worked in the Worcester area with Calliope Productions, Flyleaf Productions, WCLOC , and Stageloft; and with Arlington Friends and the Vineyard Playhouse. Her favorite roles have been Gertrude McFuzz in Suessical the Musical and Lucy in Menotti's Telephone. She would like to thank you family and her sweetie, Steve, for their love and support.

Brendan is glad to be doing another production with Vanilla Box Productions. He has been doing theater for 9 years at this point and this is his 3rd year with Vanilla Box Productions. His favorite roles include George in Godspell, the Mayor of Whoville in Seussical and The Sergeant from Pirates of Penzance. He hopes to do more in the future and thanks his Mom and Dad for forcing him into theater.

Vanilla Box Production’s Matilda marks Mario first theatrical debut. This fall he will be a sophomore at Holy Name. He enjoys playing music in band and chorus during the year. He would like to pursue acting in the future and looks forward to gaining more experience with acting to further expand his set of skills.

Lucas is 11 years old and is going into 6th grade. His first show was To Catch a Princess with him as Prince Henry In 2017, he played Bob the Builder in This Old Gingerbread House and in 2018 he placed Timon in The Lion King Jr. He also does karate, plays guitar and is very excited for this year’s production!

This is Kayleb’s first year with Vanilla Box Productions. Kayleb has been dancing for over 10 years and competing for 3 years in various competitions such as Bravo, Step Up to Dance, Turn It Up and Starborn. He has won several awards and trophies. Kayleb had the opportunity to choreograph Hairspray at his middle school in Peabody, MA. Kayleb is very proud to be a part of Vanilla Box Productions and can’t wait to perform in both Matilda and Music Man.

David Romaniec is 13 years old and going into 8th grade. David is excited to be doing Matilda this year. David’s past theatre experience includes Pirates of Penzance and he is currently working in Music Man with Vanilla Box Productions as Winthrop in this August’s production. Besides theater, David likes to play viola and trumpet.

Ethan is extremely proud to be taking on the role of Sergei in this summer production of Matilda. Ethan lives in Holden with his parents and older brother and has been acting with Vanilla Box Productions for two years. He was last seen as David in Anne Frank and Me this spring and in the Ensemble of Suessical last summer. He is grateful for his family and friends for all their support.

Katrina is so excited to be back with Vanilla Box Productions for her 6th year! Some of her favorite roles have been Mrs. Mayor in Suessical and Ms. Sheinkopf in School of Rock. She has also enjoyed directing a show at Wachusett Regional High School’s Theatre Blitz in the fall of 2019. Great thanks to Mr. Joel, Ms. Chris, Mr. Nate and the whole Vanilla Box team for helping Matilda come together into the show that is being shown to the audiences.

Cameron is going to be a Sophomore at Franklin Pierce University. Since the age of five, he has been performing with Vanilla Box Productions and has portrayed many characters ranging from Sandy in Annie to the Scarecrow in the Wizard of Oz, Bobby in Crazy for You, young performer’s edition and Dewey Finn in one of the first productions of “School of Rock, youth edition”. He was most recently in the ensemble of “Chess” at WCLOC. Besides doing theater, Cameron is a trained dancer and has won three National Titles. He has additionally helped to choreograph many shows and has directed a One Act Play which won “Best Overall Production”.

Our Director, Co-Founder and Producer, Joel, is excited to take on the exciting role of Miss Trunchbull. Matilda is one of his favorite Broadway Shows. He is thrilled to be a part of this amazing cast and share the stage with wonderful performers, especially Cameron and Tracy.

Abigayle Simpson has been doing theatre since she was four years old. She has been with Vanilla Box Productions for about 6 years! Some of Abi’s favorite roles include Rafiki from Lion King Jr, Jane from Mary Poppins, Moose from Crazy For You ype, and the Angel in the shirt film Joseph. Abi would like to thank her mom and mere-mere for all their love and support. Abi hopes you enjoy the show!
