The King of Navarre and his three companions - Berowne, Dumaine and
Longaville - commit to a life of study and self-improvement for three
years. This means putting aside all thoughts of women and love.... Until
 the Princess of France and her three ladies-in-waiting arrive. Within a
 couple hours, the King and his men toss their resolutions to the four
winds, and attempt to court the noblewomen by employing some unreliable messengers, writing some awful poetry, and donning some highly ineffective disguises. As they take off their disguises and have a good laugh with each other, this romantic adventure draws to a close. But still the four couples find themselves asking whether their flirting was only a fling, or whether a true love is in store for them. Which way do you think they will go?
