Corbin Hernandez (Playwright)
Corbin Hernandez (also the Technical Director & Set Designer) is happy to be back for his sixth SJA Production. He has been in the theatre business for over ten years directing, designing, and acting in many plays and musicals as well as commercial and film work. Favorite shows he has worked on have been “Romeo & Juliet” at Benedictine College (Director, Sound Designer), “Tarzan” at Atchison High School (Co-Director, Scene Designer), “The Land of Light & Shadow” at Theatre Atchison (Writer, Director, Sound Designer), and “Mary Poppins” and “Fiddler on the Roof” here at Saint James Academy (Director, Set Designer).
Alexa Cioffi-Abt (Director)
Alexa Cioffi-Abt (Director) is excited for her first time directing at St James. She’s thrilled to work with such dedicated students who are willing to try something new every day. When not at the school, she works in the KC area as a Stage Manager, Director, Lighting Designer, and Wardrobe Supervisor. Recent works include: “First Anniversary” (Director, The Barn), OkGo Live (Props Supervisor, Yardley Hall), “Jo” (Stage Manager, The Unicorn Theatre Fringe Festival), “Slurry” (Stage Manager, The Unicorn Theatre Fringe Festival), “Products of Conception” (Stage Manager, The Unicorn Theatre Fringe Festival), “Best Friends” (Director, The Barn), “Grease” (Wardrobe Supervisor, Starlight), “The Green Book Wine Club Train Trip” (Lighting Designer, OCTA), “The Worst Poltergeist” (Director, The Barn), “Gumbo House” (Stage Manager, The MET). Alexa's next project is Stage Managing “Pass Over” by Michelle Tyrene Johnson at OCTA. She thanks her husband, Chris, for his continued love and support.
Sam Arth (Mr. Larry Temple)
Sam Arth is a Senior at SJA and this is his third play performance at SJA. In the past Sam has been a part of many shows both in and out of SJA. His favorite shows include “Crazy for You” with his favorite summer theatre camp, Stageworx, “The Drowsy Chaperone”, “The Hobbit”, and “The Trojan Women”. Sam is involved in many activities including the SJA A Cappella Choir, Vocal Thunder, Men of St. James, Boy Scouts of America, and Improv Troupe. Sam is very thankful for all the great times he’s had being a part of SJA’s performing arts productions and for all those he had the pleasure to work with. He is also very thankful for the people in his life that have made him a great man on and off stage, including his wonderful parents, Chris and Dana Arth. Sam is very excited to be a part of this original play production and hopes you enjoy the show.
Aiden Bourman (Braham Rummage)
Aiden Bourman is a junior and is excited to be involved in performing arts for his third year. He has performed in three productions while at SJA including "Trojan Women" as a Greek Soldier, and his favorite roles are Mordcha in "Fiddler on the Roof", and The Man in "Cross." Outside of theater, Aiden enjoys soccer, Scholars Bowl, A Capella Choir, and The Guys in Ties Barbershop Quartet.
Evelyn Costello (Eleanor Darke)
Evelyn Costello is a sophomore at St. James and is excited to be involved in another SJA production. She helped backstage for "The Drowsy Chaperone" and performed in her middle school’s "The Lion King" and "Singing In The Rain". Outside of theatre, she enjoys art and reading.
Anna Brune (Ensemble)
Anna Brune is a junior and is excited for her first SJA performance! She is hard of hearing and loves ASL! She also enjoys drawing, such as calligraphy, in her free time! She wants to thank everyone who watches the show and for her parents supporting her in everything!
AJ Flucke (Arthur Jarsdel)
AJ Flucke is a senior at St. James. He has performed in “The Trojan Women” as a Greek Soldier, “Fiddler on the Roof” as the Rabbi, “The Drowsy Chaperone” as Gangster 1, and is also co-captain of Improv Club and captain of Laser Tag Club. When not studying, AJ enjoys spending time with his family and close friends. AJ would like to thank his father’s godly sense of comedy and his mother’s unrivaled genius, which somehow came together to create someone with neither of those things.
Carter Crum (Ensemble)
Carter Crum has been in a play production before. At his grade school, the eighth grade puts on a musical every year. When he was in eighth grade, he did "Hillbilly Hayride", a country version of "Romeo and Juliet". Though he was only a small side role, he was able to hold his own in 6 group songs. He is a sophomore and when he came to St. James he went into Improv Club to help with acting. In Freshman year, he was in tech crew for "Fiddler on the Roof" and was a Goblin and Gollum in "The Hobbit", and he worked in props on the fall musical, "The Drowsy Chaperone". He is also very good at impressions, which is good when performing to help out with voice acting. In Carter’s free time he enjoys playing video games and bugging his sister.
Tony Dordevic (Ensemble)
Tony Dordevic is a sophomore at St. James Academy and is thrilled to be a part of the Performing Arts Department for his second year (and hopefully more)! He performed in one production, "Cyrano de Burgershack" in his grade school and has been a part of multiple SJA productions, such as "Fiddler on the Roof", "The Hobbit", and "The Drowsy Chaperone." Apart from the show business, Tony is a part of Thunder Gaming and is excited for two more years of Performing Arts at St. James!
Abigail Herrick (Ms. Brenna Hornsby)
Abigail Herrick is a senior. Within the performing arts department, she has played cello in SJA strings and for pit orchestra in "Fiddler on the Roof". During her junior year, she wrote a One Act, "Cross". She has never acted before but is eager to join this year's production of "Reset".
Katee Imlay (Ensemble)
Katee Imlay is a junior and thrilled to be in her first winter play! Previously she was in the ensemble for “The Drowsy Chaperone” and the Hair/Makeup designer for last year’s “Fiddler on the Roof” and “The Hobbit”. In addition she also wrote “Hearing Aids Required” for last year’s One Act Plays. Outside of the drama department she is a member of Mass Ministries, Sorelle Choir, Book Club, and is the co-chaplin of Improv Club.
Jack Kmetz (Ensemble)
Jack Kmetz is a sophomore at St.James and is excited to act in his first high school play. He was involved with the tech crew on the recent musical, "The Drowsy Chaperone" and is now excited to see everything from the actor's perspective. Outside of school he enjoys architecture, drawing, reading, playing video games, hanging out with friends, and most of all cars! He also loves to volunteer and give to the community. Jack would like to thank his family, most of all his grandpa, Jim Burns, who has helped model Jack into the person he is. He hopes you will all enjoy the play.
Nora Ley (Mrs. Rachelle Rummage)
Nora Ley is a freshman who is overjoyed to be a part of her first SJA production. Her previous involvements in theatre include playing the role of Aunt Spiker in “James and the Giant Peach Jr.” (Holy Spirit), and she cannot wait to perform even more in the future at Saint James. She is also involved in tennis, Art NHS, CYO basketball, track and field, and creative writing.
Henry Kerschen (Mr. Julius Rummage)
Henry Kerschen is a junior who is proud to be involved in the St. James Performing Arts program for his third year in a row. Having played roles in "The Trojan Women", "Fiddler on The Roof", "The Hobbit", as well as the Props Designer for "The Drowsy Chaperone", he is elated to be joining his friends in "Reset." Henry is a Prince of Peace alumni where he got his first taste of theater in the 60's based musical "Groovy." At School, he participates in A Capella Choir in the Bass section and loves to spend his time after school with the Improv Troupe. Henry loves to draw, read, and play various video games with his friends.
Allison Nekirk (Ensemble)
Allison Newkirk is a freshman and is thrilled to be involved in her second SJA production this year! She has been involved in more than thirty shows before St. James, was a part of "The Drowsy Chaperone" cast this year, and is excited to continue being a part of the St. James Performing Arts community. Her favorite roles include Anne Frank in "The Diary of Anne Frank" (CYT), Mrs. Paroo in "The Music Man" (Ascension), and a Specialty Dancer and Tapper in "James and the Giant Peach" (CYT). Outside of theatre, Allison enjoys being a part of the JV Blue Scholars Bowl team, Thunderettes choir, and the Freshman House Captain for Supalla House in Gianna Molla. She would like to thank her parents, brother, directors, and God for all they have done for her and blessed her with. Please enjoy the show!
Anthony Radke (Ensemble)
Anthony Radke is excited to be in his second show at St. James. He is also the Foreman of the Men's Choir at Saint James and is in the A Cappella choir as well. At St. James, Anthony has also participated in cross country.
Clare Rosa (Ensemble)
Clare Rosa is a freshman and is thrilled to be performing in her first play at St. James! She has been involved in three other musicals before: “The Drowsy Chaperone” (SJA), “Mary Poppins” (Holy Trinity), and “Singin' in the Rain” (Holy Trinity). Clare is also on the dance team at SJA. Outside of school, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family and hanging out with her dog Murphy. She would like to thank her family, especially her parents, for supporting her in all that she does!
Sarah Stuppy (Alice Temple)
Sarah Stuppy is a senior and is excited to be in another SJA production. She has performed in many shows at St. James and through local companies. Her favorite role was Kitty in "The Drowsy Chaperone" last fall. Last year, Sarah placed at State and medaled at Nationals in Forensics and was given the opportunity to be in her first professional film. Other than acting, Sarah enjoys to dance and volunteer. 1 Peter 4:10
Karly Somerhalder (Mrs. Dorothy Temple)
Karly Somerhalder is a junior and is very excited to be in her fifth show at Saint James Academy! Her favorite roles include Trix the Aviatrix in "The Drowsy Chaperone", Dwalin in "The Hobbit", and Jane in "Blind Date Inc. 2". At school, Karly is also involved in book club and A Cappella Choir. She loves to sing and has taken a solo to state twice. Karly wants to thank her parents for always supporting her in what she does and her family for coming to all of her performances. She would like to thank you for coming and hopes that you enjoy the show!
Ava Thomas (Ensemble)
Ava Thomas is a freshman at Saint James Academy where she participates in choir and cross country. She went to Holy Spirit grade school where she was in the ensemble for the 8th grade play “James and the Giant Peach Jr.” (seagull, vagrant, soloist, model, and Ridgely Rapscallion). She also performed as an orphan in Bishop Miege’s high school musical “Annie” in 7th grade.
Jessica Znidarsic (Io Demarzo)
Jessica Znidarsic is a junior and is excited to be apart of the SJA Performing Arts Department for the second year! Jessica enjoyed playing Victoria in "Why Did We Leave Home" (SJA) and Girl 1 in "Cross" (SJA). She also was head of costume crew for "Hobbit" (SJA). Jessica is involved in Dance Team, dancing outside of SJA at Miss Maria's Dance Studio, and Student Advancement Committee!
Sydney Barragree (Documentarian)
Sydney Barragree, a junior at Saint James, is happy to be participating in her third SJA production, this time as the documentarian. She was previously involved in the musicals “Fiddler on the Roof” and “The Drowsy Chaperone”. She is a member of band, Science Olympiad, Tri-M, and Science National Honors Society. She is involved in Scouting BSA and sings in the choir at her parish mass every week. She would like to thank her friends and family for helping her with everything she tries to do.
Katrina Barragree (Assistant Stage Manager)
Katrina Barragree is a sophomore and loves being involved in SJA Performing Arts. She has done three productions here at Saint James, including "Fiddler on the Roof" and "The Drowsy Chaperone". She has been on the crew for all of these productions and has served as the Assistant Stage Manager for "The Drowsy Chaperone". Outside of the theater department, she participates in Science Olympiad and Tabletop Gaming Club.
Rose Christiansen (Makeup/hair Crew)
Rose Christiansen is participating in her second St. James Academy production. She was in the Drowsy Chaperone prior to this one, and she is very excited to be in the makeup crew. In addition to theatre she likes to draw, do makeup, and play video games. She would like to thank her parents and all of her friends.
Jake Deane (Sound Designer/Board Operator)
Jake Deane is a sophomore and is excited to be involved in the sound crew for the winter play. He has been a member of the tech crew at SJA for the past 3 productions. His previous roles have been: Head Sound designer and a member of the sound crew. Outside of the theatre department he is a member of the nationally ranked SJA clay target team and is an allstate team member. He also enjoys attending the Table-Top Game club.
John Grube (Lighting Designer/Board Operator)
John Grube is very excited about being in yet another Saint James production. He enjoys the simple things like long walks in the frigid cold and relaxing evening binge watching by himself. His interests include: His friends, miniature building, writing, drawing and coloring.
Katie (Costume Designer)
Katie is a freshman and is excited to be in the crew for "RESET"! She has been in multiple shows outside of the Academy and is excited to be a part of the SJA Performing Arts for the first time. Katie is a member of both the JV Scholar's Bowl team and Thunderettes Choir her freshman year
Hannah Joerger (Props Crew)
Hannah Joerger is a freshman and is excited to be involved in SJA performing arts for her first year! She was in the show "The Drowsy Chaperone" this past fall, and is so excited to be a part of tech during this show! She has enjoyed performing in theatre with CYT and has been in 10 shows. Hannah loves to express herself through singing, dancing, and acting of course! She hopes you all enjoy the show!
Elizabeth Khemraj (Costume Crew)
Elizabeth Khemraj a freshman, is a part of the SJA Performing Arts for the first time. She has participated in her middle schools’ plays before, and she is excited to see what St. James has to offer.
Victoria Letourneau (Makeup/Hair Crew)
Victoria Letourneau is a sophomore and is excited to be involved in SJA Performing Arts for the second year! She has done tech in three productions at St. James Academy. She done makeup and hair for all of the productions at SJA. She is also on the Varsity Dance team for St. James Academy. Go Thunder!
Peter King (Props Designer)
Peter King is a junior and is excited to be involved in the SJA Winter Play! He has performed in seven prior productions, plays and musicals alike, and this will be his first time helping backstage as part of the crew. He is a member of the SJA Men's Choir, Vocal Thunder and is also a co-captain for the Improv Club. When he is not at school, Peter enjoys learning about film-making, writing, spending time with friends and reading. He also feels weird referring to himself in the third person.
Madilyn McLemore (Stage Manager)
Madilyn McLemore is a sophomore and is ecstatic to be involved in this years winter play, “Reset”. She has been involved with tech in four productions at St. James Academy, along with being involved in Improv and currently taking Drama I. Outside of the theatre department, she is involved in Scholars Bowl, Science Olympiad, and Choir.

Katie Mulloy (Props Crew)
Katie Mulloy is a freshman at Saint James Academy. “Reset” is Katie’s first high school play, and she has been looking forward to participating in the performing arts for some time. She also enjoys other activities such as drawing and story writing. Her free time is mostly spent creating new stories and characters. During the fall, she runs as a proud member of the SJA Cross Country team. Katie is excited to be a part of this production.
Audrey Montanez (Costume Crew)
Audrey Montanez is a freshman and is excited to be doing tech for the winter play this year. She has performed in four musicals, with one of them being "The Drowsy Chaperone" (SJA). Besides that musical, Audrey has also been in two Inspired Purpose shows, which are "White Christmas" and "13". Her first musical was "James and the Giant Peach" (Holy Spirit). Other than being involved in theatre, Audrey also enjoys participating in the JV Crimson Scholars Bowl team, SJA band, and Piano Club.
Jesse Reece (Makeup/Hair Crew)
Jesse Reece is a junior at St. James. This will be his second year of theater at St. James doing tech. He was lights in “The Hobbit”, makeup crew in “The Drowsy Chaperone” and publicity team for the One Acts. He also is a lieutenant for the Improv Club. He enjoys A Capella and drawing in his free time.
Katy Rempel (Props Crew)
Katy Rempel is a freshman and is thrilled to finally be behind the scenes of a production!!! She has acted in six musicals, two plays, and this past fall she was in SJA's "The Drowsy Chaperone"! She would like to thank the directors and most importantly God for this opportunity! A special shout out to the freshman, Nora, Allison, Ava, and Clare: I am so so so very proud of all of you and I love you all so so much!!! You can count on me now and always to be your #1 fan!!! Paxton Redding (Assistant Stage Maneger)
Paxton Redding (also the Projections Designer) is a Freshman at Saint James, and is excited to be in his first show ever. He is the Assistant Assistant manager, assistant stage manager, grand inquisitor of projections, and jack of all trades. He also is in debate, Improve Club, and Track.
Tessa Redding (Assistant Director)
Tessa Redding is a junior at Saint James, and is excited to be in her 5th Saint James play. Some of her favorite roles have been Janet Van de Graaff in "The Drowsy Chaperone"; director of "Hearing Aids Required", and Princess Penelope in "The Little Mermaid". Outside of shows she is the media director for improve club, a member of Allegro choirs, and a member of the Girls in Pearls. She is very grateful for this opportunity. #TessTheBessa
Jarod Roberts (Sound Designer/Board Operator)
Jarod Roberts is a senior who has participated as a member of the sound crew for the past three years. He has been the sound designer for the past two years for the shows “Mary Poppins”, “Trojan Women”, “Fiddler on the Roof”, “Drowsy Chaperone”, and other SJA shows.
Victoria Thurm (Hair/Makeup Designer)
Victoria Thurm is a junior who is excited for her second year of crew. She loves theater and art in general. Outside of theater she enjoys participating in Video Game Club and is a proud member of SJA Trap Shooting Team. She has played piano for 11 years and has done dance for 4 years.
Morgan Wright (Makeup/Hair Crew)
Morgan Wright is a junior at St. James Academy. She has been a part of the SJA Performing Arts since her freshman year. This will be her 6th production at the academy, being part of the backstage crew. Outside of theatre, she enjoys dancing, drawing, photography, and going to get sushi with her friends.
