Bye Bye Birdie Cast

Kaitlynn Brooks (Dance Ensemble/Sad Girl)
Kaitlynn Brooks is a sophomore at Southwick regional school. This is her second year doing the musical, she is part of the dance ensemble and is also sad girl in the musical bye bye birdie. She has been dancing for 13 years her dancing experience includes dancing in the nutcracker and competitive dance. In her pass time Kaitlynn loves art, coffee, skateboarding, being outside, and her cat Rascal. Being part of the SRS Drama Club is one of her favorite things and she plans on doing it throughout her high school career. She would like to thank her loving friends and family for their constant support.
Anna Blumenthal (Margie)
Anna Blumenthal is overjoyed to be appearing in her 8th show with the SRS drama club, Bye Bye Birdie. Anna is currently in her junior year. In her free time Anna likes to spend time with her friends and family, read, and watch her favorite TV shoes. Anna would like to thank her family and friends for always being by her side and supporting her. She would also like to thank her second family, the incredible cast, crew, and directors of this show for putting in so much hard work and time to make the show fantastic.
Julia Smidt (Chorus)
Julia Smidt is in eighth grade. This is her third SRS Drama Club Production. She has been in The Crucible and The Wizard of Oz. She enjoys baking and hanging out with friends. Her hobbies include sewing, painting, and listening to music. She also likes to hangout with her cat. Julia would like to thank her parents and close friends for the support they give.
Caileigh Ellsworth (Suzie/Dance Ensemble)
Caileigh Ellsworth is a junior and is excited to be a part of Bye Bye Birdie! She joined drama club for The Addams Family and has been in The Crucible, The Wizard of Oz, and Peter and the Starcatcher as well. She enjoys dancing and has been dancing since she was three. She currently dances at The Dance Slipper. Reading and listening to music are other interests of hers. She also enjoys documenting everything her cats and dog do. She would like to thank the cast and crew, her friends, and family for making participating in Bye Bye Birdie a blast and a half. Break a leg to everyone involved!
Jillian Lemon (Teen Chorus)
Jillian Lemon is in ninth grade and is making her debut performance in the SRS drama club production of Bye Bye Birdie. Jillian has always been interested in the arts of performing and drawing. She enjoys such things as singing, acting, drawing, sketching, and painting. Some of her other hobbies include reading, spending time with friends and family, including her new nephew Brayde
Chase Blase (Chorus/Sweet Apple Shriner)
Chase Blase is ecstatic to be performing in his first SRS Drama Club production, Bye Bye Birdie! He has also been in a few small elementary school shows, as well as two North Middle School Shows: Hee Haw Hayride (as Mr. Dogweasle) and Shrek The Musical Jr. (as Gingy (aka: The Gingerbread Man)) He has loved performing since he was very young and his very eager to continue his performing arts career here at SRS. His hobbies include playing video games, drawing, writing stories, listening to music, and dancing. Chase would like to thank his family and friends for all of their love and support!
Jennifer Motsko (Helen)
Jennifer Motsko This is Jen's fourth show with the Southwick drama club. She is a junior and is proud and excited to be part of another wonderful cast. In her free time Jen enjoys playing on the volleyball team and spending time with family and friends. She loves zesty memes and vine compilations. Caroline Hess (Penelope/Gloria Rasputin)
Caroline Hess is in her junior year. This is her eighth show and fourth year with the drama club. She enjoys cheesecake, movies, and reading
Taylor MacIntosh (Conrad Birdie Fan Club/Teen Chorus)
Taylor MacIntosh is grateful to be performing her fourth drama club production. She has performed in “The Crucible”, “The Wizard of Oz”, and most recently “Peter in the Starcatcher”. She enjoys spending time with her drama club family, and will miss her senior best friends Molly McLaughlin and Cece Winiarski so much next year. She is so proud of how hard everyone has worked on the show, so please enjoy it!
Harriet Boakye (Dance Ensemble)
Harriet Boakye is so excited to be in her second SRS Drama Club production. She has been in The Wizard of Oz here at SRS and has been dancing ever since she was little. In her spare time she likes baking, singing, dancing. She is so happy that she has found a home in Drama Club and thanks all her friends and family for the support they have given her.
Anthony Mora (Maude/Sweet Apple Shriner)
Anthony Mora is a senior at SRS and is excited to be participating in his sixth and final Drama club production. He has been in The Wizard of Oz and Peter and the Starcatcher and has always loved to tell stories ever since he was very young. Some hobbies include film making and being a filthy Kirby main. He’d like to thank his family, his friends, and Taylor C for being with him every step of the way. Enjoy the show!
Claudia Lafleur (Dance Ensemble)
Claudia Lafleur is excited to be a part of the SRS Drama club production of 2019, Bye Bye Birdie. This is her first year in Drama club, she has danced for four years in the past and is still dancing! In her free time, you can find her listening to music and choreographing her own dances. Claudia also likes to keep in touch with friends when she can’t talk to them in person. She is grateful to have her family, friends, and her dog, Baloo.
Stephanie Marcil (Deborah Sue/Dance Ensemble)
Stephanie Marcil is a Junior at SRS. This is her 8th show here, beginning with You Can’t Take It With You, and most recently performing in Peter and The Starcatcher. She loves to sing, play piano, guitar and ukulele, and hang out with friends and family. She would like to thank everyone who has supported her in drama club and she would like to say Break A Leg to all the seniors!
Gabby Smigiel (Teen Chorus)
Gabby Smigiel in 7th grade, is excited to be starring in her first production with SRS drama club. This is her first production here but, she used to dance as a little girl and went to Red Door Theater (theater camp). Her hobbies include hanging out with friends, practicing sport, lacrosse and field hockey, and traveling. She also like to try new things like cooking new meals or exploring new places. She is very grateful to be in such a great production and be supported by her family & friends!
Kayla Andrade (Chorus)
Kayla Andrade is in her sophomore year and is excited to be in her first SRS drama club production. She’s been playing high school volleyball and softball since 7th grade and basketball since 8th. Kayla enjoys singing in the high school chorus and eats pizza in her spare time. She appreciates her friends and family who came out to see the production.
Lesley McCorison (Mrs. Johnson/Chorus)
Lesley McCorison is a sophomore and is excited to be staring in her 5th show here at SRS. She spends most of her time playing sports or cuddling her dog Kya, who is the best and cutest dog in the whole world. She would like to thank her friends and family for all their support. She would also like to thank her drama family for all being so amazing and talented, and she loves them all so much. Break a leg!!
Paige Clark (Chorus)
Paige Clark is excited to be in her second Drama club production. She has been in “Peter and the starcatcher” and was in an Southwick on stage production. Some of her hobbies are video games. Paige enjoys cooking cakes and cooking things with pasta. She would like to say thank you to her parents and friends for always being there!
Sarah Calabro (Kim MacAfee)
Sarah Calabro is excited to be in the spring musical, Bye Bye Birdie. This is her 6th show, notable shows including The Music Man and The Crucible. Her pastimes include studying nutrition as well as being with friends. She thanks all her close friends for their company and support. She hopes you find the musical ‘lovely’!
Sophie Hebert (Teen Chorus)
I have been performing with the Nutmeg’s Dance and Theater Company for over 9 years where I take dance and musical theater classes. She is grateful to be sharing the stage with this amazing cast. Her hobbies and passions are field hockey, singing, and dance. I am thankful for my parents, older sister and twin sister who have been supportive and loving. I am very excited to perform in my first SRS Drama club production.
Emma Reardon (Dance Ensemble/Teen Chorus)
Emma Reardon is thrilled to be performing in the spring musical in her first year at SRS. Emma has taken various dance and gymnastics classes over the years and is happy to be putting them & her love of singing to good use! She appreciates all the support from family & friends and hopes everyone enjoys the show.
Jayden Wilson (Teen Chorus/ Conrad Birdie Fan Club)
Jayden is a freshman this year and is so excited to perform her 4th show with the Southwick Drama Club! She has been in previous shows including “Somewhere, Nowhere,” “The Addams Family,” and “The Wizard of Oz.” She was also a part of the Southwick Varsity field hockey program this past fall, along with the USA Futures field hockey program this spring. She would like to give a huge thank you to the rest of SRS drama club, her friends, family, and her two beautiful golden retrievers at home for supporting her all the way!
Lillie Hebert (Teen Chorus)
I am currently in the seventh grade. This my first production with the Southwick drama club.I enjoy playing the cello in the school band, dancing and singing. I want to thank my mom, dad and my amazing big sister. I am so excited to perform along with twin and this amazing cast. Enjoy the show!
Isabella Lombardi (Mrs. McAfee)
Isabella is very happy to be in this production of Bye Bye Birdie. This will be her fourth SRS production. She’s been in The Crucible, The Wizard of Oz, and Peter and the Star catcher. Isabella enjoys singing, of course acting, and doing her makeup. She thanks her family for coming to support her, and her second family for making every production she’s done here, amazing!
Nick "Alfred" Lafayette (Conrad Birdie)
From British low-life to high-class American rock star. After planning on dipping his toes into the pool of the SRS Drama Club, Nick has plunged headfirst into his love for the stage. Including adopting the nickname “Alfred” after being called by the alias by many of his peers due to his performance in the earlier fall play, Peter and the Starcatcher. Nick, a Junior, continues to participate in his church’s youth worship band FUEL, and has recently been inducted into the National Honor Society as a token of his leadership and his academic performance. This will be his second production as a part of the Drama Club family. He thanks his peers for pushing him to audition for the role, and his mother, who coaxed him to audition for the fall play. “I’m just a simple man trying to make his way in the universe.”
Savanna Masso (Dance Ensemble)
Savanna Masso is a sophomore here at SRS. This is her second show with the drama club, as she was in The Wizard of Oz last year. She’s a dancer of nine years, who enjoys playing volleyball, baking, and singing. She’d like to thank her friends and family for their support, and is thrilled to be a part of this production!
Tucker Costello (Mayor)
Tucker is a junior and this is his 8th show with the Srs drama club. Tucker is always on the move and enjoys spending time with his friends and making prop and costume replicas in his spare time. Tucker would certainly like to continue his career in the drama club through the next few years. Tucker is thankful for the support given by his family and friends
Jaydin Brown (Chorus)
Jaydin Brown is now in her first SRS drama club production which she is delighted to be apart of, during her sophomore year. Besides drama club she is also a hardcore tracklete and volleyball momager. She is a Chick-Fil-A enthusiast, and will kindly accept gift cards. Her hobbies including: eating Chick-Fil-A, consuming Chick-Fil-A, and partaking in Chick-Fil-A. When she is not raising the roof at drama, she is more than likely at home practicing her makeup skills that you will probably see in the musical. She would like to thank her parents, extended family, and friends for being such a supportive community for her.
Michael Turner (Freddie, Teen Chorus)
Michael Turner is doing his first SRS Drama club musical. He is in his freshman year of highschool. He enjoys hanging out with friends, drawing, listening to music, singing, and jamming on his guitar. He is grateful for his friends and family for all of the support.
Dakota Phillips (Chorus)
Dakota Phillips is excited to be attending her second SRS drama club musical. She has been in The Wizard Of Oz. She is in her freshman year of Highschool. She enjoys being around her friends, playing her ukulele, drawing and dancing. She is very grateful for her friends and family for all of their love and support.
Lucas Caron (Teen Chorus, Sweet Apple Shriner)
Lucas Caron is in 7th grade. He is excited for his first play at SRS. He also did the drama club at Powder Mill. He does Boy scouts and likes video games and ducks. He is thankful for his mom, his grandparents, his dog, his 4 birds, and his 11 half brothers and 3 half sisters. Though he hasn’t met most of them, he knows that they’ll be on his side.
Kamaris Desroches (Alice)
Kamaris Desroches is a senior at SRS and this is her fourth year doing musicals. She was in Music Man, The Addams Family, and last year was the wickedest witch out there in Wizard of Oz. Kamaris loves playing field hockey and dancing around like a fool. She will be on the stage next year at Worcester State University and majoring in Accounting. She is so thankful for her family and friends who have listened to her ongoing rants this year. She hopes you enjoy the show and thanks you for coming!
