About Chicago (High School Edition)

In roaring twenties Chicago, chorine Roxie Hart murders a faithless lover and convinces her hapless husband, Amos, to take the rap...until he finds out he's been duped and turns on Roxie. Convicted and sent to death row, Roxie and another "Merry Murderess," Velma Kelly, vie for the spotlight and the headlines, ultimately joining forces in search of the "American Dream": fame, fortune, and acquittal. This sharp-edged satire features a dazzling score that sparked immortal staging by Bob Fosse.

Southeastern Players

The drama troupe was formed by Christopher Crossen-Sills with the purpose of bringing a high-quality drama program to the Southeastern Regional community. Up until that point, theatre was not a part of the school system but since it's inception, the program has grown. Over the 8 years, the troupe has provided quality entertainment and educational opportunities for the students of the school. We at the troupe hope to bring the best educational opportunities to future Southeastern students as well as quality entertainment to those who are look for it. The program now stands under the guidance of Christopher Crossen-Sills, James Fernandes and Christie Reading as they continue the mission of bringing high quality theater to Southeastern Regional.
