A Musical Revue Cast

Josh Lytle (Seymour/ Warner/ Kevin)
Josh is very excited for his second performance in a musical. Josh is currently a sophomore in high school. When he’s not rocking in the musical, Josh enjoys golfing and playing baseball. He is also a trumpet player and choir member. Josh would like to give a special shout-out to Eli Roy and Madelyn Logan, who have made this year’s musical a fun and enjoyable experience. He would also like to thank all the people who made this year’s musical happen, including Mrs. Petrella and Mr. Cain.
Emily Dunlap (Elle/ Glinda/ Jenna)
Emily is happy to be involved in her fifth musical performance. A junior, she has been a part of the South Side musical performances since her freshman year. Emily is very thankful that Mrs. Petrella and Mr. Cain volunteered to make a musical happen this year. She was very sad to learn there wasn’t going to be a musical performance this year due to COVID-19, so when she learned there was going to be one she was very excited.
Katie Wright (Audrey/ Martha)
Katie is a freshman who is very excited to be performing in her first musical revue. She takes part in competitive dance and choir. Katie would like to thank her friend Madelyn Melnick for doing this musical revue along with her. Also, she would like to thank her family for supporting her. She would like to thank Mrs. Petrella and Mr. Cain for all of the hard work they put in to making this musical possible.
Eli Roy (Shrek/ Robbie)
Eli Roy is a senior returning to the musical. Last year, he played the seductive Pepper in Mamma Mia with charm that one critic said “made [him] swoon.” This year he expands his range with the role of Shrek in a performance sure to bring tears and lots of laughs. He hopes you enjoy his performance and the show
Joshua Janney (Charlie Brown/ Elder Cunningham/ Emmett)
Joshua is a senior this year at South Side High School. He has been in the last three musicals as an ensemble member (Beauty and the Beast), the Wizard (Once Upon a Mattress), and Bill (Mamma Mia!). He is super excited to be in this year’s musical revue and would like to thank Mr. Cain and Mrs. Petrella for all their hard work and perseverance in this trying time. He hopes you enjoy the show!
Laila Cronin (Elphaba/ Linda)
Laila Cronin is currently a junior at South Side. As a freshman, she was member of the ensemble in Once Upon a Mattress, and as sophomore, she was a part of the stage crew. She is so excited to be returning this year. Outside of musical, she’s the co-captain of the majorettes. She enjoys music as a hobby. She hopes you enjoy the show and thanks both Mrs. Petrella and Mr. Cain for making this year a great experience even through the current circumstances!!!
Alyssa Klim (Teen Fiona/ Ursula)
Alyssa Klim is a junior participating in the Musical Revue this year. She has previously performed in Once Upon a Mattress and Mamma Mia! as an ensemble member. Last year she received a callback audition, so she is extremely excited this year to be performing Ursula’s solo, “Poor Unfortunate Souls.” She is also excited to perform in a trio among her friends in “I Know It’s Today” from Shrek the Musical. Alyssa hopes you enjoy the hard work she and her classmates have put into the musical this year!
Katey Gardiner (Young Fiona/ Annie)
Katey is a junior. She was most recently seen in the ensemble of Mamma Mia! and Once Upon a Mattress.
Maddie Melnick (Gertrude/ Adult Fiona)
As a freshman, Madelyn is very happy to be a part of the 2021 musical revue. She is very busy with competitive dance, gymnastics, and choir. Maddie would like to thank her parents for taking her to each rehearsal and Katie Wright for encouraging her to do the musical. She would also like to give a huge thanks to Mrs. Petrella and Mr. Cain for all the time and effort they put into making the revue possible.
Madie Logan (Julia/ Fiona)
Madelyn Logan is joining the cast of the musical this year as a senior. Last year, she was an ensemble member in Mamma Mia, and regrets not joining the musical earlier. She is very thankful that we are even having a musical this year, and would like to thank the Mrs. Petrella and Mr. Cain for getting creative.
Baily Cuteri (Sound Board)
Baily is a sophomore and is very excited to be running the sound again for the musical. She ran the sound board for last year's production of Mamma Mia!
