Shrek The Musical Cast

Junior Ethan Britt appears in the role of Shrek. Ethan has been a member of the Mustang Masquers for one year, and previously had roles in "Shoes Along the Highway" and "The Christmas Extravaganza." Ethan plans to attend college for film and start a production company with a handful of friends. Ethan says, "I would like to thank everyone for being supportive no matter what happens."

Quinna is an eleventh grader and three-year member of Mustang Masquers. In "Shrek," she plays Teenage Fiona, Pig 1 and a Dancing Rat. Quinna plans to go to college, major in interior design, and have a wonderful, happy life. She says, "I would like to thank my parents for always supporting me and loving me in every way possible."

Katie Noren is a tenth grader and second year Mustang Masquer portraying Fiona. She has previously appeared in "Frumpled Fairy Tales," "You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown," "Shoes Along the Highway," and the Christmas Extravaganza. Katie plans on going to college and majoring in primary education. She says, "In my free time I will be auditioning for television and film jobs, and hopefully become famous!" Katie would like to thank "my elementary school music and piano teacher for helping me grow in music and of course my family for supporting me."

Senior Molly Hester will be playing the role of Donkey and has been involved in drama for the past six years, both at SEHS and in middle school. Through the years, Molly has participated in many productions including "Suessical the Musical," "I Never Saw Another Butterfly," "Have You Heard?", "Frumpled Fairy Tales," "You're a Good Man Charlie Brown," and "Shoes Along the Highway," as well as two talent shows and this year's "Christmas Extravaganza." Molly plans to go to a university and major in theater, then move to Atlanta and focus on city auditions. "Once I'm comfortable enough, I want to move to New York City and audition for Broadway productions," she says. When asked who she would like to thank, Molly noted, "I would like to thank my parents and sister for always encouraging me. I would also like to thank my teachers Ray Ellis, Heidi Bindhammer, and Cheri Hester for making me a stronger performer than I ever thought possible."

Sophomore Reagan Brown has been a member of the Mustang Masquers for two years, and has performed in "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown," "Frumpled Fairy Tales" and the Christmas Extravaganza. Reagan would like to graduate high school with honors, go to college and major in musical theater and minor in forensic criminology, and one day be on Broadway. She says, "I would like to thank everyone in the drama club for being a second family to me!! I love all of you!"

Meagan is a freshman and first-year Mustang Masquer who is playing the role of Fairy Godmother and Dulocian as her first role. Meagan loves animals and hopes to become a veterinarian and work at a rescue sanctuary.

11th grader Brandon Nary brings to life several roles in Shrek, including a Guard, Knight, and Villager. He has previously appeared in "Alice in Wonderland" and "Frumpled Fairy Tales" during his three years as a Mustang Masquer. Brandon plans to go to college to study engineering, and says, "Id like to thank my parents and friends for supporting my role in drama."

11th grader Kyra Platt plays Pig 2 and the Dancing Rat as well as a Villager and Dulocian in "Shrek." She is also responsible for choreography for the show. A three-year Mustang Masquer, Kyra has appeared in "Shoes Along the Highway" and the Christmas Extravaganza, which she also choreographed. She hopes to attend New York University where she will major in musical theater. Kyra says, "I would like to thank Adam Platt and Dolan Aguero for supporting me and dealing with rescheduling their lives in order to help me reach my goals!"

This is Isabelle's first year as a Mustang Masquer and her first production. She wants to pursue a career as a chef after graduation because she loves creating things. Isabelle says, "I would like to thank my family for always supporting me with the decisions I make and for helping me become who I am today."

Sophomore Evan Fuchs has been a Mustang Masquer for two years. He plays Lord Farquaad and Young Shrek in "Shrek," and previously appeared in "Frumpled Fairytales," "Shoes Along the Highway," and the Christmas Extravaganza. He wants to go to college, join the Navy and become an NCIS investigator after high school. Evan says, "I would like to thank my parents, my dog, and my sister Molly for telling me to follow my dreams."

Ella is a junior who has been working with various Mustang Masquer productions for the past three years. She previously appeared in "Frumpled Fairytales," "You're a Good Man Charlie Brown," "Shoes Along the Highway," and the Christmas Extravaganza. It is Ella's dream to attend Julliard one day; she hopes to to attend an arts academy and major in theater with a minor in vocal performance. Ella says, "I would like to thank my parents, for supporting me, my close friends for keeping me cool, and Mr. Ellis, for giving me a place to express myself."

Nicholas is a recent addition to the Mustang Masquers. A sophomore, he hopes to graduate and go to college as well as participate in church mission trips. He says, "I would like to thank my sister Izzy for getting me into this mess!"

DJ is a junior who has been working with Mustang Masquers for three years. He previously appeared in "You're A Good Man Charlie Brown," "Frumpled Fairytales," "Shoes Along the Highway," and the Christmas Extravaganza. DJ also works with the sound system as technical support. DJ hopes to attend college and major in multi-media while minoring in theater. He says, "I would like to thank my family for supporting me throughout, God for letting me do something this amazing, and the people in Drama for giving advice and just bringing so much fun and enjoyment to my life."

Tim is a senior who has been working with the Mustang Masquers for two years. He previously appeared in "You're a Good Man Charlie Brown" and the Christmas Extravaganza. After graduation, Tim will join the Navy and attend college, where he will major in music and performing arts.

David is a 10th grader who has never been in a drama production until "Shrek," when some friends talked him into auditioning. He hopes to major in film or become a neurosurgeon. According to David, "I would like to thank my parents because they've helped me get to where I am. Also Reagan, Katie, Ethan, and DJ for getting me into this whole thing, and while it was sort of a trick by them, I'm glad. And myself for actually doing it instead of not going through."

Kalei is a junior who hopes to graduate and become a veterinary technician. She previously appeared in "Frumpled Fairytales" and "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown." She says, "I'd like to thank my parents and my family because they know I love theater. I would also like to thank my friends."

Sebastian is a junior who recently joined the Mustang Masquers. He hopes to major in film studies in college and work in voice acting. He says, "I would like to thank my mom and brother. They are a huge inspiration to me and have helped me get into SEHS Drama."

Mary is a junior who has been involved in Mustang Masquers for three years, and has appeared in "Frumpled Fairytales," "Shoes Along the Highway," and "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown." She hopes to obtain a PhD in psychology after graduation. Mary says, "I would like to thank my parents for supporting me through my high school career."

Dylan is a sophomore who plays the Captain of the Guard in "Shrek." He has previously performed in "Shoes Along the Highway" and the Christmas Extravaganza. He plans to join the military or go to college after graduation. Dylan says, "Thank you to Raymond Ellis for putting up with us and always making sure we are the best we can be!"

Sophomore Kayla Freeman has participated in the Mustang Masquers for one year and was a member of the Christmas Extravaganza. She hopes to attend Julliard and wants to thank "my family, my friends, God, and Harry Styles."

Kayla is a first-year Mustang Masquer and "Shrek" is her first production. A sophomore, Kayla hopes to attend GSU for Psychology and Sociology and open her own practice after graduation from college. She would like to thank "Mr. Ellis for allowing me to participate in the production and my parents for supporting me through all of my endeavors. "
