Band Geeks Cast

Tristan Richards (Elliott)
Tristan Richards is a senior at Shadow Ridge High School and President of troupe 7547. He is also serving his second year on the State of Arizona Thespian board. Tristan is excited to be in the Arizona premiere of Band Geeks and is excited to compete for this show to go to the National level. This is his senior year at Shadow Ridge High School. He has participated in many roles in his four years at Shadow Ridge. Some of his favorite musical roles have been Charlie Brown (You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown), Lord Pinkelton (Cinderella), Troy (High School Musical), La Cienega (Bring it on), and the Mayor in (Seussical the Musical). He has received several NYA nominations and received the Gammage High School Musical Awards top 10 nominee for his role of Mayor in Seussical. He is also part of Arizona Broadway Theatres Hyrev Performance Troupe. Tristan would like to thank Kendra Schroeder, Mark Foreman, the cast and crew, as well as his parents and grandparents for their support!
Ryley Youngs (Laura)
Ryley Youngs (Laura) performs in theatres around the valley with her latest shows being Arizona premiers of Freaky Friday, Tuck Everlasting, and Polkadots at Valley Youth Theatre. Some of her other notable performances include Les Miserable, Once Upon a Mattress, 13 The Musical, Twilight’s Quest, Shrek The Musical, and Winnie the Pooh: A Christmas Tail. She would like to thank Kendra Schroeder, Mark and Lynzee, and the entire cast and crew for an unforgettable experience.
Ethan Wallgren (Mr. Hornsby)
Ethan Wallgren is excited to participate in the Arizona premier of Band Geeks! He has been in many Shadow Ridge performances since his Freshman year, such has Grasshopper (James and The Giant Peach), Schroeder (You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown), and Horton (Seussical). He is glad that he has been able to rehearse with many talented people, and looking forward to future shows with his cast mates.
Autumn Wooten (Ms. Dixon)
Autumn Wooten is very thrilled to be participating with a wonderful cast in this amazing Arizona Premiere. She has performed in many Shadow Ridge shows since her freshman year; such as, Bring It On: The Musical, Seussical, Aunt Sponge in James and The Giant Peach, and her upcoming role as Rebekah in the One Act Play of Anatomy of Gray. This is her 4th year in the Shadow Ridge Theatre program, and she is very excited to see what the rest of the year holds. She believes that the cast of Band Geeks is amazingly talented, and is also so invigorated at the fact she gets to stand along beside these amazingly, talented people on stage.
Jordan Brumskill (Jake)
Jordan Brumskill is an extremely grateful member of the SRHS theater family! He is a Sophomore who spent his Freshman year on the JV soccer team but is currently focusing on theater for the time being. Previously, he's been cast as Zeke in our 2018 Fall performance, High School Musical, as well as a Knight in our 2018 Spring Performance, Cinderella, and will be staring in Anatomy of Gray as Doctor Galen P. Gray this coming November; but is looking forward to all SRHS theater may have to offer in the future.
Lucas Morais (Spitz)
Lucas is a sophomore and the treasurer of troupe 7547. He is very excited to be a part of the Arizona Premiere of Band Geeks. He has been involved in theatre since he was 6 years old. He was previously seen in James and the Giant Peach (James), Cinderella (Pageboy), and High School Musical (Brainiac). Lucas would like to thank everyone that was involved in this show and helped make it possible.
Kaylea Vance (Natalia)
Kaylea Vance is excited and prepared to participate in the Arizona premier of Band Geeks! with her fellow cast and crew. She has previously worked with the Shadow Ridge Theatre program in her roles as Gabriella in High School Musical and the Fairy Godmother, Marie, in Cinderella. She is more than ready to perform it for all the friends and family. Kaylea is proud and thankful for the friendships she has made throughout rehearsing the show and wishes for them to continue to grow.
Liberty Anglin (Nicole)
Liberty Anglin is a Junior at Shadow Ridge High School. Liberty has previously been seen on stage as Sally in You're a Good Man Charlie Brown (ASU Gammage Award), Jojo in Seussical the Musical, and Spider in James and The Giant Peach. Liberty is honored to be performing in the Arizona Premier of Band Geeks! She would like to thank Kendra Schroeder, Mark Foreman, and the entire cast for being so supportive and fun!
Jaxson Kobel (Alvin)
Jaxson has been participating in theatre since 6th grade where he was part of the pit for The Little Mermaid Jr., was Simba in the Lion King and played Peter Pan the year after in Peter Pan. Last year Jaxson was seen in High School Musical as Ryan and had a blast. “I want to thank Ms. Schroeder for casting me and hope you enjoy the show!!”
Liam Carmichael (Stewart)
Liam is a Freshman at Shadow Ridge High School. He has been acting since fourth grade and his favorite roles to date are Lord Farquaad in Shrek the Musical and Gomez in The Addams Family. He is excited to be part of this production and looks forward to many more!
Carlie Bell (Molly)
Carlie Bell started doing theatre her freshman year and loves the family she has made within the troupe. She is excited to have the opportunity to play "Molly Whiterman" in the Arizona premiere of Band Geeks the Musical.
Jay Pearson (Kyle)
Jay Pearson is a sophomore in high school. He is currently in Rehearsal and Performance getting ready for his next production, Almost Maine, where he plays a repairman and a love struck best friend. Jay's previous roles were a jock in High School Musical, and ensemble in Cinderella. He is looking forward to his next 2 years in theatre and hopes to participate in Individual Events and make it to the Big Screen!
Sidney Filler (Understudy/Pit Singer)
Sidney is a Junior at Shadow Ridge and Vice President of troupe 7547. She enjoys theatre and has participated in musicals from a very young age. Sidney has been in Teen Beach Movie (Mack), Legally Blonde (Pilar), High School Musical (Thespian), and many more. She is excited to be a part of the Arizona premiere of Band Geeks and she can't wait to see all the hard work come to life. Sidney wants to thank the cast, crew, director, volunteers, and all the people who have supported her and the show from the very beginning.
