About Legally Blonde

Elle, a west-coast sorority girl follows her heart across the country and finds new dreams among the hallowed halls of Harvard Law School. Her plans to win back her ex-boyfriend backfires when she learns that he's moved on. Despite being heart-broken, Elle remains "positive" as she discovers that she's capable of more than she ever thought she could be and that being true to yourself never goes out of style. 

About The Department

The Rampant Theatrical Company was established 25 years ago by theater teacher, Janice Schreiber. For the last nineteen and a half years, RTC has been under the direction of Monica Edwards who produced a multitude of shows, most recently; Shrek, Do Not Go Gentle, and Wizard of Oz.  

In January of 2018, the role of director was turned over to Jacquline Golebiowski. Golebiowski earned her Bachelor degree Theater Arts from East Carolina University. From January 2008-December 2011, she held the title of Theater Arts Director at South Lenoir High School producing such shows as: Willy Wonka, Into the Woods, and Chronicles of Narnia, The Odd Couple 

In August of 2012, after the birth of her daughter Lilyan, Golebiowski began teaching in Pitt County. Under her direction, the Hope Middle School Theater Arts Department was established. Over the last 6 years, HMS Theater has produced shows such as Snow White, Yes, Virginia, Ten Actors in Search of a Cell Phone, Once Upon a Crime, and Legally Blonde, Jr.
