Rachel ZwerenzThis is Rachel’s ninth show at Ponderosa and her second time being a Tech Director. Eros & Psyche is Ponderosa Theatre Company’s first film, and creating it has been a one of a kind learning experience that challenged their way of thinking about theatre. It was also a Freshman/Sophomore show, which gives the underclassmen an opportunity to act and the upperclassmen greater responsibilities. Through this, the company has grown as artists, actors, filmmakers, and leaders. Theatre is an invaluable creative outlet that has positively impacted the whole company by giving them a sense of community and purpose. Rachel hopes that this show brings joy and laughter to everyone watching, just as it brought numerous smiles to the cast and crew’s faces. Enjoy!

Being her last freshman/sophomore show, Kaeleigh couldn't be more thrilled to help bring one of her friend's creations to life through film. She hopes everyone enjoys the show and loves it as much as her!

Mrs. SameshimaI am so excited to be in the Ponderosa Theatre Company. Before coming to PHS, I spent 24 years at ThunderRidge High School teaching theatre, film, English and media. It has been so exciting for me to see students stretching their learning during this pandemic to create performances in new ways. I am very proud of them.
