Tom Ammiano (Performer)
has been performing stand up as an out Gay man since the 1980s. As the "Mother of Gay Comedy" he started Gay Comedy Night at the Valencia Rose in San Francisco. Currently he is in a film about that time: "Stand Up, Stand Proud." He is the author of "Kiss My Gay Ass” and as an elected official he was voted the only politician that is intentionally funny.
Aundre the Wonderwoman (Performer)
A Bay Area comic who says of her career, “I woulda been famous by now, but I gotta work!” By day, she works as an attorney advising lawyers who represent clients on California’s death row. By night, she is one of the Bay Area’s most popular comics. She was a semi-finalist in the San Francisco International Comedy Competition and received the “Stand Up For Justice” award for her work against the death penalty.
Debi Durst (Director)
is an improvisor, actor, director and producer. She's performed with every improv group in the Bay Area starting with The Committee all the way up to The Bad Aunties. As a director she’s helmed productions of Bullshot Crummond, Noises Off, The Sunshine Boys, Father of the Bride, It Can’t Happen Here, and The Savannah Sipping Society for the Pacifica Spindrift Players. She directed her first pandemic era Zoom show “An Act of God” for the Palo Alto Players in September of 2020. She produces San Francisco’s Comedy Celebration Day and The Big Fat Year End Kiss Off Comedy Show. In 2017 Debi got the location in Golden Gate Park where Comedy Day is held officially changed to Robin Williams Meadow. She is very proud of this accomplishment. As a native San Franciscan she is also proud to be the official emcee for the SFMTA Cable Car Bell Ringing competition. This show is dedicated to her Sweet Baboo Will.
Arthur Gaus (Performer)
is a San Francisco-based attorney and stand-up comedian who’s a regular at legendary local comedy clubs Cobb’s and The Punchline. He has appeared with some of the biggest names in comedy including John Oliver, John Mulaney and Brian Regan. He is well known for his distinctive delivery and sharp wit; his album Nice Jokes for Smart People is available everywhere.
Greg Proops (Performer)
is a stand up comic from San Francisco. He lives in Hollywood. It’s not that bad. Really. The Proopdog is best known for his unpredictable appearances on Whose Line is it Anyway? In both the US and UK. Stand-up Greg has a new Political Comedy album out called The Resistance. Recorded live in his beloved San Francisco. Available on iTunes and from aspecialthing records. Professor Proops has a hit Podcast called The Smartest Man in the World. Recorded live in Hollywood, Australia, New Zealand, Montreal, Edinburgh, Amsterdam, San Francisco, Austin, London, Paris and aboard a ship off St. Maarten. Mr. Proops’ book “The Smartest Book in the World” is based on his award seeking podcast is now out in paperback.
Mike & Mari (Performers)
Michael Bossier and Mari Magaloni present for your education and entertainment “The Mike and Mari Show.” Bossier surviving decades on the comedy club circuit and Magaloni adding stand up to her theatrical resume offer a two person perspective of man versus the machine, perfect for this ever changing pandemic world.
Jeanette Marin (Performer)
is a stay-at-home mom by day and a stand-up comedian by night. She gravitates towards jobs with long titles and very little pay. When she is not hiding from her children in a closet, she delights audiences by saying what mothers are never supposed to admit in public! In 2019, she was in the S.F. International Comedy Competition and a featured comedian at the Cinequest Film Festival.
