Join the Our Lady of Lourdes Drama Club as they present “We Are Monsters.” Composed of students in 3rd-7th grade the OLL Drama Club & Junior Thespian Troupe #10411, members are happy to return to the stage for their annual Musical. “We Are Monsters” is a hilarious new musical that follows human kids into a monster cabaret filled with quirky monster characters. The adventurous humans uncover vegetarian vampires and rock n’ roll werewolves, gradually realizing there may be more to these monsters than meets the eye! Most importantly these monsters and kids discover the importance of friendship and celebrating in the attributes that make each of us different and unique.

Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School is situated on two campuses located on the south side of Slidell, LA.  Students in Pre-K4 through 7th Grade are educated at the main campus while children from 6 weeks through Pre-K3 are educated at the Early Childhood Development Center campus (the two campuses are within walking distance of each other).  Our school is part of the large and vibrant church parish of Our Lady of Lourdes shepherded by our Pastor, Fr. Chris Zavackis.  The Principal, Mrs. Lisa Duncan, in collaboration with the Pastor, and in coordination with the Office of Catholic Schools for the Archdiocese of New Orleans , provides direct supervisory and operational management of the school.  

Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School, as a ministry of the Church parish, is fully accredited to offer academic excellence and formation in Gospel values in an atmosphere of prayer and community service. Our goal is to prepare students intellectually, spiritually, morally and emotionally to become productive citizens of the Church and the world.  The drama program is one of the many opportunities offered students to develop their intellect, skills and personalities outside of the classroom.
