Beauty And The Beast Cast

My 1st year, I didn't even audition. My 2nd year, I auditioned to be the Devil - didn't get the part. My 3rd year, I auditioned to play a disruptive teenage lead - I played a Reverend instead. This year, I auditioned for the lead Beast role - I got the part. Nothing, to a background role, to the part that shouldn't be the main focus, to a lead. I've learned 2 things: Never start at the top, you'll have nowhere to go. And, it's the character that nobody is supposed to like that has the most depth

After 5 years of GSS productions, I am pleased to conclude what has been a series of incredible experiences with a show as spirited as 'Beauty & the Beast.' I want to thank this incredible cast for making it fun to come to rehearsal everyday, Mrs. Bruckner for never failing to bind the seams of musical realities, & Mr. Coates for every opportunity he has given me over the past 4 years & the tireless work he puts into every production. And thank you to my family who has given so much support!

Hello, Big Boy Gaston. This is my third musical production and I actually got a part! It is tough playing Gaston as a freshman since I am not very big in size. Hey all! Did you know that I actually don't have a French accent? Hard to believe right? When I am not being my saucy French self, I am most likely playing field hockey or eating chocolate. Not at the same time though, I promise. Anyways, thanks to all of the people who made the show possible and for making my fourth musical production absolutely fantastic!

Evan is so excited as this is his fourth year in The Golden Stage Society. He has been in past musicals including "Cinderella," "The Drowsy Chaperone," and "Footloose." My name is Jack Zimmer and this is my last year in North Salem. Since I am graduating I wanted to wish everyone luck in all of their future endeavors. Hello! My name is Amanda Collins. I play Chip the adorable and funny teacup. I love to act so much! I have this passion on the stage that I could never express in reality. I love to have the feeling of people laughing at my joke, crying when I'm emotional and smiling because their happy. I personally think that's what acting is all about.

This is my fourth year as a member of The Golden Stage Society, and my first year as a high school student. I have enjoyed every performance, and I cannot wait to continue in the future. Beauty and the Beast is Victoria's fifth musical at North Salem High School and sadly her last. She is a senior this year and has had so much fun performing in past years. This show has been an incredible experience for her and she hopes you enjoy it!

This is my 4th year doing the NS musical & I'm so proud to be a part of this cast. See that tall white snot-rag (a napkin?) ... that's me. That weird girl who failed the cartwheel... also me. I'm probably washed out by the lights and if you see me, you'll regret it. I will mess up every dance and fail the splits. And that shrill in the background: my voice. If at any point you feel like wishing me luck... don't. You'll jinx me. I literally WILL break my leg. So please, pity me. The only thing that will give me strength to go on, is the sugar high from the candy you give me!

Hi, my name is Edward Bergham. I acted in last year's musical "Footloose", and have been doing the drama club program offered by the Middle School. In this production I play the Little Prince, Wolf, Salt Shaker, Shepard, and am also a member of the mob.

I've had experience with dance in the past and I was in the musical last year. I love singing and dancing. I also love teaching myself how to dance. I find it very fun and amusing.

This is my third musical I've been in and every single one has been so much fun!! I can't wait to do more of them in the future. I hope you enjoy the show!

I’m Juliette & I'm in 8th grade. This is my 1st musical & I am so excited to perform. Dancing has been a part of my life since I was about 3, & I currently take ballet & contemporary. I was surprised when Mr.Coates & Mrs.Bruckner asked me to bring my ballet life into the character of Rose! I never expected to be on pointe in the musical! This has been such a great experience and I can't wait for next year!
