About The Truth Exposed... in ten minutes

Like most theatres, across the world, the COVID-19 pandemic silenced our theatre. But again, like all most artists across the world, we ached to conceive, design, and produce.  The Truth Exposed... in Ten Minutes is a result of this desire... the urge to perform to even an empty space.  The shows are mostly the result of classrooms projects and thus, are works in progress.  Still, we invite you into this sometimes rocky but always wonderful road of creation. Parallel to this ambition were the constant news stories and invading images of compromised black lives.

The clash resulted in The Truth Exposed... in ten minutes. In addition to well-established plays, the compilation consists of original writings by NCCU faculty members as well as other local artists.  Dressing, Night Vision, and The Ballad of George Zimmerman are presented by special arrangements with Concord Theatricals.  Twelve is presented by special arrangements with Vincent Terrell Durham and the Michael Moore Agency.

Your support may be more important than the presentations.  Thank you for being the inspiration for what we do.  We simply cannot wait to see you in the theatre next season.  In the meanwhile, we will meet you in the remarkable world of virtuality.

The Truth Exposed... in ten minutes is comprised of the following presentations:
