Shannon M (Diana/Director)
Shannon is thrilled to be making her directorial debut in Lend Me a Tenor. Her past performances include Shrek (Gingy/Dragonette), Eurydice (Eurydice), A Night of Stars, A Hipsummer Night’s Dream (Hermia/Titania/Snout), The Addams Family (Alice), The Magic Paintbrush (A Young Muse/Orphan/Puppeteer), Our Town (Mrs. Webb), Aladdin (Iago), A Night in Elsinore (Ghost), The Miracle Worker (Kate Keller), and The Drowsy Chaperone (Janet Van de Graaff). She would like to thank Mr. Taylor for challenging and inspiring her to become the performer she is today, Mr. Neylon for being her mentor throughout high school, her family for supporting her insane aspirations, her friends for their endless spontaneity and joy, Mr. May, Ms. S, Ashley Koch, Ansley Cotter, Sophia Decker, Mary Rose Ziemba, and the senior thespians for making this show incredible. She will attend the University of Georgia this fall. Enjoy the show!
Grant H (Max)
Grant is incredibly excited to be performing in Lend me a Tenor. He has been in many productions, both on and off the Mount Vernon stage, including Harlequin (Harlequin), Legend of Sleepy Hollow (Ichabod Crane), The Worst Christmas Pageant Ever (Ralph Herdman), The Magic Paintbrush (Shadow), Our Town (Mr. Webb), and A Night in Elsinore (Hamlet). He would like to thank the wonderful cast of senior thespians for this incredible show, Mr. Taylor for his continual inspiration for all Mount Vernon Thespians, his family for their never ending support and care, his amazing friends for always being there for him and creating wonderful events like his 18th birthday party, Dr. McCubbin, Mr. Neylon, Ms. S, Abigail Emerson and the Emersons, and Mr. Baroody for agreeing to do the voiceover for this show.
Amberly W (Maggie/Brand Designer)
Amberly is honored to be appearing in her eighth and final production as an MVAllstar. She serves as the Thespian Society Treasurer and Publicity Officer for Troupe 7702. Her past shows include The Addams Family (crew), The Magic Paintbrush (Orphan/Citizen/Puppeteer), Our Town (Emily Webb), Aladdin: Dual Language Edition (Royal Translator #2), A Night in Elsinore (Voltimand/Gravedigger/Kop), The Miracle Worker (Blind Girl), and The Drowsy Chaperone (John Tall as Gangster #1). As Amberly will be pursuing theatre at Georgia College and State University this fall, she would love to thank Mr. Taylor, Ms. S., and Mr. Neylon for helping her discover and cultivate her passion for the Arts. She also wants to thank her parents for their endless support, Sheyenne for being the most amazing inspiration she could ask for, and her God for loving her and allowing her to use her passion for theatre to relate to and inspire others. Enjoy her last performance on the MV stage!
Jack A (Saunders)
Jack is a Senior MV Allstar, and has participated in The Magic Paintbrush (Rat King), 72-hour play, Improv Night, Our Town (Dr. Gibbs), and ran lights for last year’s Senior Theater Project. He played Razú in Aladdin, Claudius in A Night in Elsinore, Mr. Anagnos in The Miracle Worker, Robert Martin in the Drowsy Chaperone, and finally, Saunders in Lend Me a Tenor, rounding out his second and last year with MV Arts. He would like to thank his family for encouraging him to continue his high school performing career, and his fellow actors for helping him hone his craft for theatre.
Ashley H (Tito/Technical Director)
Ashley is ecstatic to be closing out her senior year at Mount Vernon with Lend Me A Tenor. Her past shows include A Hipsummer Night’s Dream (Theseus/First Fairy/Moth/Starveling), The Addams Family (Ancestor), The Magic Paintbrush (Spider’s Arm), Our Town (Joe Stoddard), Aladdin (Prince), A Night in Elsinore (Polonius :) ), The Miracle Worker (Light board operator), and The Drowsy Chaperone (Underling). She would like to thank her fellow Senior Thespians for putting their hearts and souls into this production, as well as Mr. Taylor, Mr. Neylon, Ms. S, Ms. Wright, Mr. Potter, Mrs. Rucker & Mx. Brooks. And one final huge thank you to her friends and family for supporting her passion! Please enjoy the show!
Charlotte M (Maria/Set Designer)
Charlotte is very excited to be acting for the first time in a production at Mount Vernon, as well as debuting her first set design. Her previous shows include The Addams Family (crew), The Magic Paintbrush (crew/fan), Our Town (sound ops), The Miracle Worker (stage manager), The Drowsy Chaperone (stage manager), and both 72 Hour Play projects. She would like to thank her parents, her sister, and her two dogs, Willoughby and Jetson, for inspiring her and supporting her during this show. She wants to thank Mr. Taylor for allowing her to grow more confident as a leader and Jake Lortz for forcing her to learn how to use power tools and construct sets. She would also like to thank everyone who helped to build the set and let us borrow their props and furniture. Enjoy the set and the show!
Anna Kate P (Julia)
Anna Kate will be concluding her high school theatre career in Lend Me a Tenor as Julia. Her previous credits include Eurydice (sound ops), The Addams Family (Ancestor), and The Magic Paintbrush (Sorceress). She would like to thank her family and friends for supporting her and encouraging her along the way. She would also like to take a moment to appreciate the wonderful theatre department and crew for making every production fantastic.
Katie T (Bellhop/Stage Manager)
Katie is very excited to be stage managing and acting in the Senior Thespians' production of Lend Me a Tenor. She was a member of the stage crew in Mount Vernon's productions of The Addams Family and The Magic Painbrush. Additionally, she has written and acted in original plays as part of the 72 hour play project. She would like to thank her friends and family for supporting her in all of her various endeavors, and the senior thespians for helping produce this amazing show!
