During the disastrous bombings of World War 2, four English siblings leave their home to seek shelter at a country house. One day, the youngest of the four, Lucy, finds a wardrobe that transport her to a magical land called Narnia. There, she meets a faun named Tumnus and learns of a horrid witch that rules Narnia and makes it always winter and never Christmas! After coming back to the country house, Lucy returns to Narnia with her siblings -- Peter, Edmund, and Susan.

Mountainville Academy is a K-9 charter school in Alpine, UT. As a Leader in Me school, we value student leadership and encourage our students to live the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. We believe in building leaders, one student at a time through personal and academic excellence.

As such, The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe production features the work of over 40 student designers and crew members. We are also featuring an A and B cast of around 32 students, some of which are doubling as designers. It is amazing to watch the students read and analyze the plays, brainstorm design ideas and then work through how to execute those designs! We truly have some amazing kids at Mountainville Academy!
