Once Upon a Mattress Cast

Emma Wilson is a senior at Mechanicsburg. Throughout her four years in high school, Emma has participated in soccer, basketball, softball, and band. Additionally, she serves as the president of her class, student council, FFA, and National Honor Society. In her free time, Emma enjoys volunteering on Jr. Fair Board, writing, singing, reading, and hanging out with friends. She has also been involved in the musicals “Oklahoma!” (Ado Annie), “Cinderella” (Portia), “Grease” (Marty), and “Alice in Wonderland” (Queen of Hearts). Upon graduation, Emma plans to attend a four year university to major in education, history, and theater.

Caleb is a senior. During high school, Caleb has been a part of the MIBN, track and field team, and the spring musical. In his free time, he works as an associate producer and show host at TrueChat in Urbana and writes for the Urbana Daily Citizens. Caleb has been a member of the Mechanicsburg renditions of “Oklahoma!” (Jud Fry), “Cinderella” (The Herald), and “Grease” (Roger). Upon graduation, he plans to study sports media at a four year university.

Leah is a junior at Mechanicsburg. In school, she participates in the musical and choir. In her free time, Leah enjoys singing in the worship team at her church, going to her weekly youth group, and posting music on her youtube channel. Additionally, she was a member of the musical “The Sound of Music” (Brigitta Von Trapp).

Sam is a junior at Mechanicsburg. During her time in school, Sam participates in bowling and marching band. In her free time, Sam enjoys singing with her church choir, playing the drums, dancing, and hanging out with her friends. Furthermore, she has been part of the musicals “Meet Me in St. Louis” (Marion Palace Theatre), “Oklahoma!” (MHS), and “Cinderella” (Joy) (MHS), and “Grease” (Rizzo) (MHS).

William Boeck is a Sophomore. Will is in quiz bowl, cross country, track, and the school band, including jazz band. Outside of school, Will participates in Boy Scouts and the Varsity All Star Brass Band in Columbus. Previously, Will has appeared in “Oklahoma,” “Cinderella,” and “Grease” (Eugene).

Leo is a sophomore at Mechanicsburg. Throughout his years in school he has participated in football, and marching band. Additionally, Leo spends his time as a 4-H camp counselor, serving on the 4-H food and fashion board, and helping with the Columbus Honor Flight. Furthermore, he was a part of the Mechanicsburg rendition of “Oklahoma” (2017) and of “Grease” (2019).

Emry is a sophomore. She participates in choir, musical and FFA at school. Outside of school she takes voice lessons at Sand Dollar Music Studio and does community theater. Most recently, Emry has starred in “Urinetown,” as Little Sally with Perineal Theater Company. Some of her other credits include, “Grease” (Miss Lynch), “Seussical” (ensemble/dancer), “Cinderella” (ensemble), and “Oklahoma!” (ensemble).

Isabelle is a senior. In high school, she participated in soccer and National Honor Society. In her free time, Isabelle enjoys photography. She has also been a member of the musicals “Cinderella” and “Grease” at Mechanicsburg. After graduation, she plans to attend college.

Bradley is a senior. During his four years in high school, Bradley has participated in golf, advanced art, National Honor Society, and yearbook, as well as painted two murals in the school. In his spare time, he enjoys: lifting, making art, reading, learning, and producing the podcast and nationally syndicated radio show “The State of Us.”. He was also a member of the musical “Grease” at Mechanicsburg. Upon graduation, Bradley plans to attend The Ohio State University to study neuroscience and be an environmental and natural resources scholar as a pre-med student.

Kyle is a senior. Throughout his four years in high school, he has participated in football, National Honor Society, and helped out with MIBN. In his free time, Kyle enjoys playing video games, hanging out with his friends, and finding new sports related hobbies. He was also in the Mechanicsburg rendition of “Grease” (Greaser). Upon graduation, Kyle plans to major in biology at either The Ohio State University or The University of Cincinnati.

Cameron is a senior. During his time in high school, Cam has been a member of the marching band, choir, and jazz band. In his free time, Cam enjoys photography and video games. “Once Upon a Mattress” is the first theatrical production that Cam has been a part of. After graduation, he plans to attend a four year university to major in music education, criminal justice, or photography.

Tyler is a sophomore. In school he has participated in choir, baseball, and cross country. In his free time, he enjoys singing and hanging out with friends. Tyler has not been a part of any other musical, but is very excited to be in “Once Upon a Mattress.” Tyler would like to thank: his friends for getting him into music, everyone who has helped out behind the scenes, all the people that have helped him run lines, and Mr. Bell for always helping him with singing. To his fellow cast members: “I had a great time this year, everyone made it so fun. Watching everyone learn and grow was very inspiring! It was because of you guys that I wanted to join this show and I appreciate being around such good people.”

Anna is a senior. She is originally from Germany, but is doing an exchange year in the United States. In her free time, she enjoys meeting new people, hanging out with friends, spending time with family, working out, cooking, and learning english. “Once Upon a Mattress” is the first musical Anna has been a part of. After high school she plans major in english and physics. She wants all of you to come visit her in Germany!

Evan is a senior at high point. In school, he participates in student delegate. Evan has served as the student stage manager for the musicals “Oklahoma!,“ “Cinderella,” “Grease,” and “Once Upon a Mattress.” After high school, Evan plans to attend Clark State to major in nursing.
