Upstate Sings began as director Tim St. Clair's personal project to help unify artists at the onset of the
COVID-19 pandemic. Within weeks, the group grew to more than 300 members, each contributing recordings that were combined into weekly video performances. Now those singers are moving from the screen to the stage for two nights of live musical performances!

The Mauldin Cultural Center has always been a welcoming space for the performing arts. In 2017, the facility became home to the newly established Mauldin Youth Theatre. Now, our performing arts schedule includes not only the Mauldin Youth Theatre, but also the all-ages Mauldin Theatre Company, Shakespeare in the park with MCC Shakes!, and the Mauldin City Singers community choir.
