PIPPIN Cast

Kristen Muniz (Leading Player)
Kristen is super excited to be guiding you all through the extraordinary story of PIPPIN. This is her fourth year performing at Malverne High School. She has played Serena in Legally Blonde, a villager in Young Frankenstein, and Flotsam in The Little Mermaid. She is also the soprano section leader for the Select Choir and Concert Choir, and has participated in All-County for two years in the Mixed Chorus. She has also been able to participate in the NYSSMA All State Conference 2019. To my fellow cast mates, get ready, we’ve got “magic to do”.
Stuart Oates (Pippin)
Stuart Oates is in his second musical at Malverne High School taking on the role of Pippin! You may remember him as Sebastian the Crab in The Little Mermaid. Stuart is a senior graduating with the class of 2020, and he is currently part of Select Choir and Concert Choir as a tenor and tenor section leader, as well as the All-County Division 5 Mixed Chorus for a second year. He is also Vice President of Service Learning Club and a member of Community Service Club and National Honor Society. He has been singing since he was six years old and is very honored to work with such a lovely cast and crew and take you all on an exhilarating, magical journey in this brilliant, coming-of-age tale!
Joel Lovingood (Charles)
Joel has been in two musicals during his time at Malverne High School. In Joel’s other school, he was involved in all of their productions, including Beauty and the Beast. He is very versatile and is involved with a lot of activities such as basketball, football, foreign language club, and the YMCA. Being a part of Select Choir and Concert Choir has really had an impact on him. He feels that PIPPIN will be one of his best shows ever!
Eric Hartley (Lewis)
Eric is very excited for this year’s performance of PIPPIN. This is Eric’s fifth and last high school performance. He was Young Shrek in Shrek the Musical, Mr. Woods in Legally Blonde, Victor von Frankenstein in Young Frankenstein and King Triton in Little Mermaid. He is a tenor in the Mixed Chorus and Concert Choir as well as being a bass in the phenomenal Select Choir. In addition, he will be performing at NYSSMA this May for the third time and performing in the All-County Mixed Chorus for the second time. There is so much “Magic To Do” just for you and he hopes you enjoy his final performance at Malverne High School.
Halle Akaeze (Fastrada)
Halle is thrilled to be a part of this year’s production of Pippin! This is her fourth musical performance at Malverne High School. She performed in Stars on Broadway while in middle school, and was in Legally Blonde (ensemble), Young Frankenstein (ensemble), and The Little Mermaid (ensemble, mersister). She is also a part of the Select Choir and participated in the All County festival in her junior year. Halle wishes her fellow cast and crew members the best of luck and hopes you have a magical experience!
Nicole Sangeniti (Berthe)
Nicole has once again made her way onto the stage for her fourth and final year in the Malverne productions. As you may have seen her in past musicals such as Legally Blonde, Young Frankenstein, and The Little Mermaid, Nicole is a familiar face on the Malverne stage. She takes part in multiple musical activities, including singing soprano in the MHS Select Choir and Concert Choir, and being a member of the Thespian Society. Even when she was younger, she has made music an important aspect to her life, such as participating in the Joyful Noise Choir. Not only will you find Nicole on stage, but also on the volleyball court playing Varsity Volleyball. Nicole achieves highly in academics, as she is a consistent high honor roll student and a member of National Honor Society. Nicole also attends BOCES as she studies Cosmetology. Nicole is very blessed and extremely excited to be a part of the cast this year and she wishes the best of luck to her fellow cast members!
Camille Cunningham (Catherine)
Camille is extremely excited to be in this year’s production of PIPPIN. This is Camille’s 5th musical that she been in since 7th grade. She played teen Fiona in Shrek the musical (‘15), Elphaba from Wicked the musical in Stars on Broadway (‘16), Pilar in Legally Blonde (‘17), acted in Young Frankenstein (‘18) and Ariel in The Little Mermaid (‘19). Camille participates in Malverne’s talent shows, Select Choir and Concert Choir, sang in Harmony Chorus and Mixed Chorus, NYSSMA festivals and at open house events, was part of a step team, and is a member in the All-County Division 5 Mixed Chorus. She also sings the national anthem at sports games and is in the youth choir at her church. Camille looks forward to show time and wishes the best to her fellow cast members and musicians as we all take our last bows for our final curtain call.
Niles Wilson (Theo)
Niles was in Shrek the Musical (2015) as Farquaad’s Father and crew for Wizard of Oz (2018). He is a tenor in the Select Choir, Mixed Chorus and Concert Choir. He is participating this year in the NYSSMA festival. He’s excited to perform alongside an outstanding cast.
Demetri Bountouvas (Noble)
Demetri is excited to be part of his fourth and final production at Malverne. He was ensemble in Legally Blond, Mordecai in Young Frankenstein , and Windward in The Little Mermaid. Outside of musical, he is a part of The Pride of Malverne Marching Band, Select Choir, NYSSMA, Honor Society, and Varsity Lacrosse, Demetri is very excited to share the magic of this fun and colorful show with everyone.
Santino Maione (Talking Head)
Santino is happy to be returning to the Malverne HS Musical! His debut as Carlos in Legally Blonde was quite a comical surprise. He kept us laughing as Ziggy in Young Frankenstein. Santino sailed into The Little Mermaid as Grimsby and is now thrilled to be back performing again with his MHS Musical Family. In addition to his theatrical work, he's currently a tenor in the Mixed Chorus and Concert Choir. He is also enjoying his final year in Select Choir. Santino's excellent NYSSMA performance qualified him to, again, perform in the All-County Chorus as well as the ACDA All-Eastern Choir. He’s a member of the Tri- M Music Honor Society, Thespian Society and the NHS. Outside of performing he is an active member and a founding leader of the MHS Media Club, Service Learning Club as well as a Basketball Player for the GOBL.
Austin Cange (Beggar)
Austin is thrilled to be a part of his second year of the MHS Musical. He performed in The Little Mermaid as a Sailor, Chef and Sea Creature. Austin is also involved with The Pride of Malverne Marching Band, MHS Select Choir, JV Soccer team, JV Lacrosse, Vex Robotics, Malverne Media Club, All County Div 4 Band and Concert Choir. In his earlier stages of theater, Austin was also a part of Stars on Broadway and the 8th Grade Drama Club. Austin has been singing since the age of 7! He wishes everyone good luck in this years musical production!
Jack Obiol (Peasant)
Jack has been involved in the Malverne musical since last year and played ensemble roles as a sailor, a fish, and a chef in The Little Mermaid. He has been involved in The Pride of Malverne Marching Band for four years and the Select Choir for two years, and had the opportunity to perform with both groups at Disney World this past December. He has always had a passion for music and acting, and is thrilled to part of this years production. He wishes his fellow cast members and musicians good luck in this years show!
JonLuc Thompson (Field Marshall)
JonLuc is excited to be performing in his second musical at Malverne High School. He took part in last year’s production of The Little Mermaid, and is currently the bass section leader in the Select Choir, and a drum major in The Pride of Malverne Marching Band. He is ecstatic to once again perform in a Malverne production, and he hopes everyone is enthralled with PIPPIN.
Seyi Adeniyi (Ensemble)
Seyi is very excited to be part of Pippin. Seyi is an honors student, who has been singing since she was very young. She discovered she could act in Davison when she played the mother duck and a swan in the ugly duckling play. She has participated in NYSSMA, All County, Stars on Broadway, Malverne’s Theatre Camp, and loves to play the flute. Seyi is a current member of Select Choir, the soccer team, and hopes to join the track team! Seyi aspires to do her best and works extremely hard at whatever she wants to accomplish. Seyi is having so much fun rehearsing and practicing for the show. Seyi can’t wait to see you in the audience while she performs and hopes you can see how much hard work went into this show!
Samuel Adeyekun (Ensemble)
Samuel has been a part of the musical for the past three years. While at Howard T. Herber, he was also a part of Stars on Broadway. He is part of the Wind Ensemble, Concert Choir, Select Choir, Pride of Malverne Marching Band, president of the junior class, and foreign language club. This musical is going to be a whimsical journey of love, loss, and liveliness. This is going to be a show you DON’T want to miss. Get ready for the funniest, weirdest, most amazing coming of age story you’ve ever seen. Let’s just say we have parts to perform and hearts to warm.
Aidan Adycki (Ensemble)
Aidan is no stranger to the theatre, playing the scarecrow in Howard T. Herber’s production of Wizard of Oz. He also plays piano and is part of the Malverne Jr. Fire Department. Ever since Aidan was five, he has loved to dance and sing. Aidan wishes good luck to the cast and crew of this years performance and hopes everyone finds their corner of the sky.
Isaac Augustin (Ensemble)
Isaac was a part of Young Frankenstein and Little Mermaid, and is thrilled to be involved in Pippin. He plays baseball and is part of the service club. Isaac is excited to share this musical with all of you, and hopes you enjoy the extraordinary choreography.
Carly Bottitta (Ensemble)
Carly made her first debut on the MHS stage as Young Fiona in Shrek the Musical. She was a princess, seagull, and sea turtle in last years production of The Little Mermaid. This year, Carly is a contortionist. She has been dancing since the age of 5 and singing since grade school. Carly is very excited to be apart of this show!
Makayla Caesar (Ensemble)
Makayla is excited to be involved in her first Malverne musical. While at Howard T. Herber, she was involved in Drama Club and was part of the lighting crew in the Wizard of Oz. She’s currently part of the Mixed Chorus. She’s always been fascinated by theatre and is excited to finally be performing on stage!
Madison Cange (Ensemble)
Madison is extremely excited for this years musical production. This is her second year doing the high school musical. She is a part of many of activities within the performing arts department such as Select Choir and The Pride of Malverne Marching Band. Last year, she was a part of the ensemble, contributing a lot of her own dance experience to the production, as she is a dancer of 12 years. This year, she’s excited to using her experience to do acrobatics and is thrilled to be the dance captain. Madison cannot wait for the final product of our show and is excited to present the musical production PIPPIN!
Brianna Carrera (Ensemble)
Brianna is excited to be in her first musical at Malverne High School. While at Howard T. Herber, Brianna played the Queen of Hearts in the Drama Club and a villain in the theater arts class. She also received an award for both drama and chorus. She loves to act, sing and dance, and loves the choreography in this musical very much. She wishes luck to her fellow theater mates.
Alison Castillo (Ensemble)
Alison has always liked to dance and sing, but never wanted to be in a musical because she was very shy. She has realized that all fears go away when she does what she loves. Being in the musical is something very valuable for her, because PIPPIN seems to be a musical full of dance and fun. Now, we are all a family!
Amanda Christodoulou (Ensemble)
Amanda is very excited to be a part of this year’s production of PIPPIN. This is her first and last performance at Malverne High School. She was involved backstage for West Side Story and decided this year to overcome her stage fright and be part of the ensemble. Amanda has also been involved in The Pride of Malverne Marching Band, Book Club, Quiz Bowl, and National Honor Society. She was also involved in the Select Chorus and Stars on Broadway at Howard T. Herber. She wishes good luck to her fellow cast members and musicians!
Michael DaCosta (Ensemble)
Michael is excited to be in his first musical at Malverne High School! He plays the tenor saxophone in The Pride of Malverne Marching Band and plays the baritone saxophone during concert season. He will be doing a level 5 NYSSMA solo on his tenor saxophone this year and is beginning to learn the acoustic guitar. He wishes everyone good luck in this production of PIPPIN!
Tavina Delmas (Ensemble)
Tavina is very excited to be involved with her first musical at Malverne High School. Her love of theatre prompted her to join the musical, as well as her past experience on her YouTube channel acting with her dad and siblings. She is also part of the Varsity Tennis team, foreign language club and the new student club. She can’t wait for everyone to see the musical, and wishes the best to the entire cast.
Alondra Diaz (Ensemble)
Alondra is thrilled to be a part of this years musical. Her passions include softball and painting, and her favorite subjects are chemistry and geometry. She hopes everyone has a great show!
Savannah Fehn (Ensemble)
Savannah has been involved with Malverne musicals for four years. Starting at Howard T. Herber, Savannah was given the opportunity to assist with the costume crew for West Side Story. During her freshman year she worked backstage as stage manager and was a member of set crew for Legally Blonde. Junior year, Savannah was lucky enough to play a goldfish and maid for The Little Mermaid. Savannah has played the bass clarinet in The Pride of Malverne Marching Band for four years and loves performing in concert band. She is honored to be a member of this year’s PIPPIN cast and wishes those on stage and behind the scenes good luck!
Diandra Francis (Ensemble)
Diandra has been in the Malverne High School musicals for the past three years. She was a villager in Young Frankenstein and a sea creature and maid in The Little Mermaid. She has also been in Stars on Broadway at Howard T. Herber. Aside from musical, she’s also in mixed chorus. cheerleading team, and an all girls empowerment organization titled Sparkle. This years production is something special and definitely something you’ve never seen before. We worked very hard at every rehearsal to get where we are right now in this production. Hope you enjoy our show!
Nalin Goonetilleke (Ensemble)
Nalin has been involved in theatre since being at Howard T. Herber. He participated in NYSSMA in elementary school and has a strong passion for acting. Last year, he worked backstage for the first musical production at HTH, “Wizard of Oz”. He has been singing since he was little, and is currently in Mixed Chorus. He is so excited to be a part of his first High School musical production and wants to thank everyone who made this happen.
Briana Guardado (Ensemble)
Briana has been involved with the musicals at Malverne High School for the past three years, performing Young Frankenstein, and working backstage for The Little Mermaid. This year, she is very excited to have the opportunity to perform again for her friends and family. She is also currently a color guard captain for The Pride of Malverne Marching Band and Malverne Winter Guard. Briana wishes good luck to all new and old friends taking part in the show!
Vincent Guida Ferguson (Ensemble)
Vincent has been a member of the Malverne Musical team for three years. He was the Herald and Shoe Shiner in Young Frankenstein, Chef and Jellyfish in The Little Mermaid. He cannot wait to perform, as he has had an affinity for musicals and song since he was small. He was formerly a member of The Pride of Malverne Marching Band and is currently a tenor in the school chorus. He wishes good luck to all his fellow cast members!
Shane Hanley (Ensemble)
Shane has always enjoyed watching the musicals in the audience and is so excited to be a part of this year’s production of PIPPIN. Shane plays the clarinet in The Pride of Malverne Marching Band. He is also a member of Vex Robotics and Model UN. Shane wishes all his cast members good luck and hopes you enjoy the show!
Hannah Hardeo (Ensemble)
Hannah is very excited to be a part of this year’s production of PIPPIN. This is her second performance at Malverne High School, as she performed in Legally Blonde her freshman year. Hannah has been involved in the Pride of Malverne Marching Band as the Alto Saxophone section leader. She also plays tennis and is involved in various clubs at school. She had been dancing for 12 years and is thrilled for everyone to see this year’s exciting production! She wishes good luck to her cast members and she hopes to have fun for her last year in the musical!
Linda Johnson (Ensemble)
Linda has had a love of musical theater for years now, listening frequently to Broadway hits such as Hadestown, Spring Awakening, and BeetleJuice: The Musical. With PIPPIN being her first Malverne musical, Linda is thrilled to be involved in this production. Aside from the play, Linda plays clarinet in The Pride of Malverne Marching Band, acting as section leader with a solo in last year’s show. She hopes everyone has an exciting and fun time performing this one of a kind show!
Sarah Louis (Ensemble)
Sarah is excited to be a part of her first production at Malverne High School, and knows that it will not be her last. She is also a member of the lacrosse team, foreign language club, and black studies club. She believes that this show will be really special because it allows the audience to get involved, which will make them feel included in the story.
Raveena Ramnauth (Ensemble)
Raveena is very excited to be in her first production at Malverne High School and is thrilled to experience it everything that goes into it. Raveena also plays the trumpet in The Pride of Malverne Marching Band, and participates in several clubs and sports. She hopes to have lots of fun this year!
Kyran Robertson (Ensemble)
Kyran Is returning for his third musical performance. His debut was in Howard T. Herber when he sang the poem “All The Worlds A Stage,” By William Shakespeare. His other performance was the first puppet show where he played the old man in Sleeping Beauty. Kyran is a very active student balancing his free time with the likes of track and musical. He desires the hard work of the actors shines through this performance!
Ashlee Rogers (Ensemble)
Ashlee has been in theatre programs at Hofstra and Molloy Colleges. She also was in NYSSMA and has made All County twice. She was also part of the crew in Howard T. Herber’s production of Wizard of Oz. Ashlee also participates in media club outside of the play. She is ecstatic to be in her first high school play and wishes everyone the best of luck on their performance.
Heather Sims (Ensemble)
Heather is excited to be involved in this year’s musical. She was also in the Little Mermaid last year. She plays the bass clarinet in The Pride of Malverne Marching Band and she will be doing a level 6 NYSSMA piece this year for All-State and is currently in All-County Division 5 Concert Band. She currently takes private lessons for bass clarinet and hopes to become a music teacher after college. She wishes everyone involved in PIPPIN good luck and hopes everyone has fun!
Renee Wilson (Ensemble)
Renee is very excited to be in her final musical production, PIPPIN. Outside of the musical, Renee has participated in The Pride of Malverne Marching Band, and is currently in the Robotics Team, Black Studies Club, Creative Writing, and Community Service. She is also vice president of the high school’s competitive gaming club. Renee has had experience in the drama industry. Not only is she currently attending Long Island High School of the Arts, she has been in Stars on Broadway for all three years at Howard T. Herber, and has starred in several of her churches Rhema theater productions. Her acting ambitions have begun when she played the 1st narrator in elementary school. As she leaves Malverne, Renee has decided to take on the stage in college, by majoring in Acting! Renee has grown a close connection to this year’s musical, and has enjoyed singing during class and showing others some of the dance moves! She wishes everyone a lively and spectacular performance and that you enjoy!
Kayla Sukhnanan (Ensemble)
Kayla is excited to be in her first and last musical at Malverne High School. She is ecstatic to be a part of this year’s production of PIPPIN. Kayla has played the flute in The Pride of Malverne Marching Band for the past four years and was section leader during the last season. She has also been a part of the tennis team for the past three years and has participated in several clubs throughout her time at Malverne High School. She hopes to have fun during her first year of musical and she can’t wait to see how this year’s production turns out!
Nevaeh Valcin (Ensemble)
Navaeh has been singing at churches ever since she was three years old. She has performed at choir conventions, and was a part of the first place national SDA Drum Corp of Wisconsin. She loves to write her own music, plays piano and is working hard to get into Oakwood University for music to become a Gospel artist. This is her first musical and she should love for you to sit back and enjoy the show.
Jessika Wheeler (Ensemble)
Jessika is very excited to be in this year’s performance of PIPPIN. This is her second performance with Malverne High School, as she was in last years production of The Little Mermaid (Ensemble). Jessika has been a member of Color Guard in The Pride of Malverne Marching band for the past two years. She has been dancing for 12 years in which she is a student at Artistry Performing Arts and has participated at summer intensive programs at Dance Theatre of Harlem. She can’t wait to perform this year.
Arile Persaud (Ensemble)
Arile is very excited to be a part of the cast of PIPPIN. This is her first musical. In addition, she enjoys spring track.
Ana Giron (Stage Manager)
Ana is so excited to be the stage manager, alongside Karyme, for her final year being involved with the musical. Ana has been a part of Legally Blonde and Young Frankenstein as part of the costume crew. She was assistant stage manager for last years production of The Little Mermaid. Ana is ecstatic for everyone to experience all the magic to do in the production of PIPPIN!
Karyme Rios (Stage Manager)
Karyme is a soprano in Concert Choir and has played the role of Rizzo in her schools production of Grease and also Vanessa in her schools production of In The Heights. Karyme is also a co-captain for the Varsity Cheerleading team for Varsity Football and Varsity Basketball. This is her third year in the Malverne School District and her second year being a part of the musical. She hopes to continue her life journey with the love of performing arts.
