The Nit Wits is the uproariously funny comedy about Tommy and his efforts to earn money to go back to college because his parents won't pay for his tuition. So Tommy, having taken one psychology class thus far, advertises in the paper for patients to come and see him at his parent's home while his parents are on vacation. He reasons "if a person thinks he or she is nuts, they really aren't." What ensues is a parade of people in need of "help."

Madison High School has been providing a well-rounded theatre experience for students for many years. We produce three main stage plays a year, including a musical in November, a student-directed show in February, and a final show in April. In drama classes the students are taught the rudiments of theatre and are provided with stage experience with scenes and one act plays produced in the Little Theatre where they are cast in the plays and also become a part of the production team for each show. We also offer four technical theatre classes where the students learn all things backstage, and are given the opportunity to work in the performing arts center running productions for the school and outside entities.
