About 9 to 5 The Musical

Three unlikely friends take control of their office and learn there is nothing they can't do, even in a man's world.

9 to 5 The Musical, with music and lyrics by Dolly Parton and book by Patricia Resnick, is based on the seminal 1980 hit movie. Set in the late 1970s. this hilarious story of friendship and revenge in the Rolodex era is outrageous, thought-provoking and even a little romantic.

Pushed to the boiling point, three female coworkers concoct a plan to get even with the sexist, egotistical, lying, hypocritical bigot they call their boss. In a hilarious turn of events, Violet, Judy and Doralee live out their wildest fantasy – giving their boss the boot! While Hart remains "otherwise engaged," the women give their workplace a dream makeover, taking control of the company that had always kept them down. Hey, a girl can scheme, can't she?

Changes will include but are not limited to:

-MASKS: We are asking that anyone who enters our building wear a mask or face covering. We understand that this isn’t possible when eating/drinking concessions at your seat, but when moving throughout the theatre, or when you get up to go to the restroom or visit the concession stand, we ask everyone to wear a mask PLEASE! Our volunteers will all be wearing masks for your safety and theirs.

-REDUCED CAPACITY: We will need to temporarily operate at reduced capacity so that we can maintain social distancing guidelines. We have adjusted our seating chart to create more space between parties. Our ushers will guide you to your seats to enjoy the show! • All cast, crew, and volunteers will receive a temperature check upon arrival to the auditorium.

• Our stage crew, technical crew, and volunteers are required to wear a face mask and gloves.

-CONCESSIONS: You can still enjoy your favorite snacks; however, we ask that you only consume your food and beverage in your designated seat in the auditorium. Once you have finished with your food and drink, please cover up with your mask or face covering. We ask that you throw away your empty containers at the end of the show in our trash receptacles.
