Jessica Cruz
Jessica Cruz currently serves LCC as a Music Instructor. She has an enormous love for the arts and cultivated her skills at Campbell University. She would like to thank her husband, Ben, for his unending love and encouragement, her parents and children for their gracious understanding, and her friends and co-workers for ever-helping hands. Special thanks to her friend and mentor, Judy Long; Judy's love and guidance as a director inspires both on and off the stage.

Timothy Maddox
Timothy Maddox received his Masters in Music Education in 2010, and is currently pursuing his Doctorate of Leadership in Education. Timothy is the Dean of Arts & Sciences at LCC, and has done previous work as Music Minister, Program Chair of Cultural Arts, and as Music Instructor. He has musically directed numerous shows in Eastern NC, and he also now serves as pianist at Centenary UMC. Timothy is honored to have been asked to direct "Annie" musically.

Erin Barker Whaley
Erin Whaley began her training with Brenda Pressley and Robb Beaman at Studio 86. She did Summer Studies with Boston Ballet and NC School of the Arts. She attended NC School of the Arts for high school graduating with a Ballet Concentration in 2003, and continued her training at ECU graduating in 2007 with a BFA in Dance Performance. She has taught at Greenville Civic Ballet and Studio 86. Erin is the Owner/Artistic Director of Studio 86. She is thankful for her wonderful family, and thrilled to work with this talented cast and crew.

Kristi Wiley
Kristi Wiley is currently an instructor of Communications and English at Lenoir Community College. While at North Lenoir High School she participated in "The Pajama Game" as a member of the ensemble, but found her passion is behind the scenes. Kristi served as a technical assistant for six years and a total of twelve productions. Kristi is honored to produce "Annie" and looks forward to working with the fabulous cast and crew.

Jane Langley Brothers
Jane Langley Brothers is a Kinston native, and teaches Religion, English, and Humanities at Lenoir Community College. She is married to Warren Brothers, America’s favorite farmer, and together they adore six children and ten grandchildren. This is her first show.

Ben Cruz
Ben Cruz is a supportive, loving husband and father. He works behind the scenes in almost all capacities to ensure shows go up without a hitch. He has participated backstage on numerous shows. He loved working sound for shows like "The Wiz", "Jekyll & Hyde", "Once on This Island, Jr", "Seussical Jr", and "Bring It On".
Set and Lighting Design
Reid Taylor
Reid Taylor is a lifelong resident of Lenoir County. He was active, in his early years, in shows such as "South Pacific", "Hello Dolly", and "Show Boat". He created the Miss Neuse Scholarship Pageant 40 years ago and currently serves as director. He is proud to be employed by LCC as well as once again being involved in local theatre.
Artistic Design
Nathan Dolde
Nathan Dolde, originally from Pittsburgh, PA, relocated to North Carolina in 1991. He received his BFA and MFA from East Carolina University. He has worked as a conservator, gallery assistant, and Art Instructor since 1998. He also worked in several mediums including painting and drawing, stained glass, and wood design.
Set Construction
Renee Herlong
Renee Herlong started helping backstage when her whole family got involved in theatre. From emergency sewing repairs to large scale painting projects, she is always learning new skills in the dark side of theatre. Incorporating Chagall style themes for "Fiddler on the Roof" was a favorite set design.
Lighting Engineer
JA Searles
JA is thrilled to be working with the cast and crew of Annie as lighting engineer. He has more than 15 years of experience in IT, he holds his degree in CIT from Pitt CC, and he has worked in LCC’s IT Department for 5 years. This is JA’s first full-fledged musical in the lighting booth, and he looks forward to many more opportunities such as this.
