The Great Lakes Theater Education Department Classics On Tour Production of

HUCK FINN

Adapted by Eric Schmiedl   Directed by Lisa Ortenzi

HUCK FINN, adapted from Mark Twain’s novel by Cleveland area playwright, Eric Schmiedl, returns to The Lantern Theatre in a new, engaging production.

Huck’s journey down the Mississippi River began at the Lantern on June 13, 2014, featuring Valerie Kilmer as Huck and Chennelle Bryant-Harris as Jim. The journey continued this year when Great Lakes Theater Education Department picked Schmiedl’s script for their renowned Classics On Tour program. This spring, under the direction of Lisa Ortenzi, with Chelsea Cannon as Huck and Chennelle Bryant-Harris returning as Jim, HUCK FINN played to delighted audiences at schools and community centers throughout northeast Ohio. With wonderful, new production values, creative staging and charming detailed acting, The Lantern Theatre is thrilled to bring this winning production to The Big, Red Barn.
