Shrek Jr. The Musical Cast

Samantha Albiani (Lord Farquaad)
Sam is an 8th grader. This is her third show with Katherine L. Albiani Theatre Company. Prior to this show, she was Balthazar in the Comedy of Errors and Ensemble in High School Musical 2 Jr.. Outside of theatre, Sam enjoys 4-H, Cross Country, and reading. She would like to thank mom and dad for always being there to support and encourage her, Mr. Hushbeck for introducing her to theatre, and all of her friends and family for their love, encouragement, and care.
Bella Albiani (Dragon, Ensemble)
Bella is an 8th grader. This is her first show with Katherine L. Albiani Theatre Company. Proir to this show she was Betty Lu in Back to Bongos, Mrs. Jamison in Heartland, and Old Jackie in Shipwreck Island. Outside of theatre, Bella enjoys Volleyball, and 4-H. She would like to thank Her mom for always being there for her and Mrs. Campbell for being such a hardworking and amazing director.
Taryn Bajar (Pinocchio, Ensemble)
Taryn is a 7th grader. This is her first show with Katherine L. Albiani Theater Company. Prior to this show, she was also apart of Sinai-tala Filipino Theater and Performing Arts Association. Outside of theater, Taryn enjoys playing soccer for Sacramento United, drawing, reading, and writing. She would like to thank Mrs. Campbell, for directing this performance, her parents for supporting her in this production, and Katherine Albiani Middle School for hosting these shows.
Evan Biava (Rooster, Ensemble)
Evan is an 8th grader. This is his second show with Katherine L. Albiani Theatre Company. Prior to this show he was Grandpa George in Willy Wonka Jr. and in plays every year from 2nd to 6th grade. Outside of theatre he enjoys baseball, wakeboarding, and hunting. He would like to thank Marshall for being supportive, and his parents for the same reason.
Julia Bessemer (Storyteller #1, Ensemble)
Julia is a 7th grader. This is her first show with Katherine L. Albiani Theatre Company. Prior to this show, she played an orphan in PGTP's Oliver!. Outside of theater, Julia enjoys playing soccer and basketball, and hanging out with friends. She would like to thank Mrs. Campbell and our dance teachers for helping us bring the show to life and for all the work they’ve put into it whether it’s inside side school hours or out in their free time.
Megan Bui (Ensemble)
Megan is an 8th grader. This is her first show with Katherine L. Albiani Theatre Company. Prior to this show, she was a fairy tale creature in Shrek, a sea creature in Ariel, and an extra in Annie, all in elementary school. Outside of theatre, Megan enjoys art, photography, food, and staring at people intensely until they notice and freak out. Megan says, "I would like to thank my friends because they're chill bout me being in theatre and going up on stage and making a fool of myself until I break down and have a massive panic attack that will forever haunt my nightmares."
Kristopher Caalim (Pied Piper, Ensemble)
Kristopher is an 8th grader. This will be his debut performance! Outside of theatre Kristopher enjoys singing, writing, and gaming. He would like to thank his brother, for encouraging him to do his best.
Hailey Capossele (Baby Bear, Ensemble)
Ethan Ciriaco (Papa Ogre, Ensemble)
Ethan is a 7th grader. This is his first show With Katherine L. Albiani Theatre Company. Prior to the show he was the doorman for "The Wizard of Oz Jr." Outside of theatre, Ethan enjoys playing music for the Lion Dance club, playing the piano, and fishing. He would like to thank Mrs. Campbell for allowing him to be in the production.
Madison Escobar (Storyteller 3, Ensemble)
Madison is an 8th grader. This is her third show with Katherine L. Albiani Theatre Company. Outside of the theater Madison enjoys soccer, volleyball, and cheer. She would like to thank her parents, her friends, and her Grandma for supporting her.
Sheila Fisher (Teen Fiona, Rat, Ensemble)
Sheila is a 7th grader. This is her first show with Katherine L. Albiani Theatre Company. Prior to this show she was a snowman in White Christmas. Outside of theater Sheila loves to dance, sing, and do gymnastics. She would like to thank her mother, father, and siblings for inspiring her and being enthusiastic in her acting and dancing.
Keira Foster (Wicked Witch)
Keira is an 8th grader. This is her 2nd show with Katherine L. Albiani Theatre Company. Prior to this show, she was an Oompa-Loompa in Willy Wonka Jr. Outside of theatre, Keira enjoys reading, rollerblading, and special effects makeup. She would like to thank her parents for doing whatever they can to help her participate in productions, her grandpa for his unceasing optimism and belief in her, and the wonderful actors in this year's production for helping her to understand that a small role doesn't always equal a lack of talent.

Emma is a 7th grader. This is her first show with Katherine L. Albiani Theatre Company. Prior to the show, she was Wicked Witch, with Sunrise Elementary Theatre Production. Outside of theatre, Emma enjoys drama, cats, and visiting family and friends. She would like to thank her mom, dad and sister for all their love and support.
Noah Haidari (Little Ogre, Guard, Ensemble)
Noah is a 7th grader. This is his debut performance! Outside the theater Noah enjoys playing Basketball for CYBL, soccer, and playing games. He would like to thank his Dad, Mom, and siblings for believing in him.
Reyna Haidari (Big Bad Wolf)
Reyna is a 7th grader. This is Reyna's first show with the Katherine L. Albiani Theatre Company. Prior to this show, she was in 8 other shows with the C.W. Dillard Theatre Company. Outside of theatre, Reyna enjoys playing soccer, for the Pleasant Grove soccer league, and she used to play volleyball with C.W. Dillard Pioneers. She would like to thank her computer teacher at C.W. Dillard, Mr. Morse, for helping her with the achievements she made, and her friends that supported her while doing those shows.
Rylie Hartmann (Dance Captain, Duloc Performer)
Rylie is an 8th grader. This is her first show with Katherine L. Albiani Theater Company. Prior to the show, she was Lucinda in Into the Woods. Outside of theater, Rylie enjoys cheer, dance, and baseball. She would like to thank her mom, dad, and friends for lots of support for the show.
Sophie Hughes (Fiona)
Sophie Hughes is currently an 8th grader and this is her first production with KAMS Theater Company. Prior to performing as Fiona in this production, she was Vlad Vladikoff in Horton Hears a Who, the Tin Man and a Flying Monkey in The Wizard of Oz, and Alice’s dog in Alice in Wonderland. Outside of theater, Sophie is very dedicated to her academics, and her participation in dance as a member of the Production Company of Elite Studio of Dance, where she is on the Junior Competitive Dance Team. She would like to thank her parents because they are very supportive of her and always believe in her, and her grandma Gail for always being there for her and her family, and for always making delicious meals, and finally, she would like to thank Hudson, her cousin, for always making her laugh and inspiring her to do her best.
Sophia Johnson (Mama Bear, Ensemble)
Sophia is a 7th grader. This is her first show with Katherine L. Albiani Middle School. Prior to this show, she was in several productions such as High School Musical and she was a star. In Seussical the Musical she was a Who. In Aladdin Jr. she was a harem girl. In Wizard of Oz she was Ms. Gulch. And lastly in Grease she was a sophomore. Outside school she enjoys, singing, soccer, volleyball, and taking pictures. She says, "I would like to thank my parents because they sign me up for many other musicals, my 6th grade teacher Mr. Harding because he brought me into the acting would, and my siblings because they let me practice with them with lines or just singing."

Samuel is an 8th grader. This is will be his debut performance! Outside the theater Samuel enjoys cars, planes, and gaming. He would like to thank his mom, dad, and sister.
Emma Lam (Ugly Duckling)
Emma is a 7th grader. This is her first production with Katherine L. Albiani Theatre Company. Outside of theatre Emma enjoys playing Frisbee and Soccer, yet she also loves to sing and draw. She would like to thank Emma Garcia, Taryn Bajar, and Julia Bessemer for being so supportive and kind. She loves acting with them because they are easy to talk to.

Kayla is an 8th grader. This is her second show with KAMS. Prior to this show she was in High School Musical 2 Jr. playing a pool boy, a cheerleader, and a performer in the talent show. Kayla enjoys playing soccer, spending time with her friends, and, of course, eating food. She would like to thank Mrs. Campbell for being an amazing director and making her a part of this production, and she would like to thank her family for all the support, and she would also love to thank her theatre family for sticking with her by her side especially Marshall, Bella, Sam, Maddie, and Brianna for being the first people she had met.
Cora Monson (Young Fiona, Ensemble)
Cora is a 7th grader. This will be her debut performance with Katherine L. Albiani Theatre Company. Prior to this show, she was Hatshepsut in Hatshepsut Queen of Denial. Outside of theatre, Cora enjoys art and swimming. She would like to thank her family for their support and helping her practice for the play.

Ariyana is a 8th grader. This is her first show with Katherine L. Albiani Theatre Company. Outside of theatre Ariyana enjoys dancing, lacrosse, and cheer. She would like to thank her dad, Jason, for supporting her in whatever she wants to do and always believing in her abilities to accomplish anything.
Hannah O'Brien (Mama Ogre, Ensemble)
Hanna is a 7th grader. This is her debut performance! Outside of theatre, Hannah enjoys competitive soccer, Girl Scouts, and traveling. She has now taken an interest and loves theatre! She would like to thank Mrs. Campbell for putting the show together and including her in it, her family for being so supportive, and her new theatre family for being positive and kind!

Jenna is a 7th grader. This is Jenna’s first show with Katherine L. Albiani Theatre Company. Prior to the show, she was in Oliver! The Musical with Pleasant Grove Theatre Company as Nipper. Outside of theatre, Jenna likes to dance, read, and draw. She would like to thank her family and best friends for always being there and supporting her.

Brianna is an 8th grader. This is the first show she has performed at K.A.M.S but she did tech for High School Musical 2 Jr.. She was in Back to Bongo's as Professor, in Romeo and Juliet as the Bard Romance, The Winter Show as Elf 4, and Heartland as a Heartbreaker. Outside of theatre Brianna enjoys music and painting. She would like to thank her brother Brady, her best friend Hope, and her parents for always supporting her no matter what.
Sharon Westfall (Bishop, Ensemble)
Sharon is a 7th grader. Although this is her first show with Katherine L. Albiani Theatre Company, she has been in six shows from 4th grade to 7th. She was the lead in last year's show. Her hobbies are playing soccer and coloring. She is in Albiani All Stars. She would like to thank her previous drama teacher because he has taught her a lot about acting.
Marshall Vale (Shrek)
Marshall is an 8th grader. This is his second show with Katherine L. Albiani Theatre Company. Prior to this show he played Ryan in the production of High School Musical 2 Jr.. Outside of theatre, Marshall enjoys drumming, reading, and sports. He would like to thank his family for always supporting him through everything! Theatre and non-theatre!
Matthew Yazel (Donkey)
Matthew is a 7th grader. This is his 1st show with Katherine L. Albiani Theatre Company. Prior to this show he was Infoblast, one of the leading roles in a play called Social Skills. Outside of theatre, Matthew enjoys dancing, sketching, and singing. He is a Life Scout in Boy Scouts. He would like to thank his dad for revealing the artistic theater side of him. He would like to thank his brother, Jeffery, and his sister, Stephanie, for encouraging him through his path for success. He would also like to thank his mom for never giving up on him and making him the person that he is today.
