Dan Kavanaugh (Various)
Dan most recently portrayed Captain Taylor in 2nd Star Productions A Soldier’s Play. Favoriute thater roles include Back of the Throat (Carl), Almost Maine (Steve, Randy, Daniel) and The Shadow Box (Joe) with Dignity Players.: Copenhagen (Heisenberg) and Lost In Yonkers (Eddie) with Colonial Players: Lost In Yonkers (Uncle Louie), Sylvia (Tom, Phyllis, Leslie), and Someone Who’ll Watch Over Me (Michael) at Bowie Playhouse which was the recipient of the British Embassy’s Ruby Griffith Award for All Around Production Excellence. Dan appeared in the television documentary Capturing Oswald as Detective Leavelle and has played multiple roles in crime recreation shows on the investigation Discovery Channel. Dan’s voiceover work the University of Maryland and various federal agencies. Directing credits include Dracula, The Shadow Box, Bus Stop and Stop Kiss. Dan performs year-round with Center for the Application and Scholarship of Theater (CAST) housed at George Washington University School
Shaelyn Jae (Various)
Shealynn is so excited to be part of the production of The Laramie Project. Her previous roles include Aggie in The Game’s Afoot, Estelle in The Full Monty, The Angry Vagina in the Vagina Monologues and Mrs. Tottendale in The Droswy Chaperone. James Raymond 
James is the scenic director for The Laramie Project and is also in the cast.He has been involved with theatre since 1997. He is a graduate of DeSales University in Center Valley, PA, with a BA in theater technology. James worked this summer in Steamboat Springs, Colorado as the Scenic Director at the PerryMansfield Performing Arts School and Camp. This past summer James worked as scenic director for The Linny Fowler WillPower Tour’s productions of Macbeth. He worked closely scenic director, six time Emmy Award winning Production Designer of Sesame Street, Bob Phillips. James had the opportunity to work with the Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival, a professional equity Lort C theater company for the past two seasons. Suzanna Young (Various)
Suzanne is happy to be a part of this riveting play. She most recently played Jessica in Silhouette Stages production on Curtains, and The Grand Duchess Olga Katrina in Laurel Mills’ You Can’t Take It With You. Last year, she performed in Ken Ludwig’s The Games Afoot at Salem Players, Parallel Lives: The Kathy and Mo Show at Artistic Synergy, Fiddler on the Roof at Spotlighters and Media at Mobtown Players. Favorite roles include Madame Armfeldt in A Little Night Music, Fraulein Schneider in Cabaret, Karen in Plaza Suite, Diana in California Suite, Minnie in Bingo! A Winning Musical and Sonya in Mamaleh!. She wants to thank Melissa, ED, Grant and the rest of the staff and cast of The Laramie Project for this opportunity.
Derek Cooper (Various)
Derek has performed in numerous shows within the Maryland area. His community credits include The Lieutenant of Inishmore at Laurel Mill Playhouse, Romeo and Juliet at Reisterstown Theatre Project, All Shook Up at Dundalk Community Theatre and a variety of performances for Pumpkin Theatre; last seen in their production of Peter Pan and Wendy. He is a 201 graduate of Lynchburg College with a B.A. in theatre and a minor in Public Relations. Derek currently works as an Assistant Guest Services Supervisor at Port Discovery Children’s Museum. He would like to thank all of the talented artists he’s worked with and learned from during this experience, as well as his family for their never-ending love and support.
Amy Davis (Various)
Amy is honored to be a part of this productions of The Laramie Project, especially in the context of the greater Erase hate Through Art event. Amy believes strongly that art should be a medium for changing the world. And the cause of acceptance for all in our society is a story that should always be told. She has performed in the local area for the past several years. Credits include Helene Hanff in Charing Cross Road Off The Quill, Dunyasha in the Cherry Orchard with Quotidian Theatre Company, and Desdemona in Othello with Cedar Lane Stage. Chris Dochin (Various)
Chris is ecstatic to be returning to the big stage and couldn’t be happier to b a part of the cast of The Laramie Project. Chris graduated from Old Mill, Glen Burnie and attended Salisbury University with majors in English and Education and later changing to English, Journalism and Public Relations. But through that change he continued with his Minors in Music, Theater and Dance. After leaving college he got a job for the Air Force, has been with them since and has recently become the GLBTQ Coordinator for the union on his installation. Though he has not been an on the theater stage since college he has kept with his love of performance and has been an active member of the Academy Washington DC, Inc. as a male entertainer. He can also be seen entertaining at PW’s in Laurel alongside his GRAD family, The Adams, and other talented Queens and male entertainers. Kandice Wilson (Various)
Kandice is native of Baltimore Md. After an initial fear of the stage she was thrust into the lead role in the 6th grade and immediately developed a long lasting love for the performing arts. After graduating from McDaniel College with her B.A. n Communication, Kandice has made acting for the stage and screen her focus; outside of the time she spends as a Copywriter for a leading sports retailer in Baltimore. She was most recently featured in a supporting role in the short film, “Ode to Rosa,” the web series pilot “He Said, She Said.” And in the til role of the world premiere of “2 Pens Elijah” at the Strand Theater in Baltimore. Kandice is excited to join Erase hate Through Art in the cast of “The Laramie Project” and is looking forward to working alongside this incredible cast.
Tom Tomlinson (Various)
Tom – actor and musician, is honored and ecstatic to be part of this landmark work and creative new company. Tom was recently nominated for a WMIFF award as the best lead actor in a Short Film for Public Relations. Other local independent films include The Dark, Split Personality, Incubator and H.I.Me. He also portrayed various detectives, villains and victims for Discovery ID shows such as The Nightmare Next Door and Southern Fried Homicide. Favorite stage roles include Nat in Eagles For Angles, Punks and Raging Queens for Spotlighters Theatre, several roles in Ibsen adaptations for the Ambassador of Norway with the Embassy Players and Gonzalo in The Tempest at Laurel Mill Playhouse. Tom has also been found in the orchestra pit at Laurel Mill playing bass for Hair and Company, and guitar for Godspell. Much love and thanks to the cast, crew and company of this amazing production.
Antoinette Greene (Various)
Antoinette is happy to be part of the production of The Laramie Project playing a great ensemble of women. She is now finishing up a western “The Lonesome Trail” where she plays Alice Barnaby, and a series “Bye chance”, Antoinette has studies with Martin Blank, Delaney Williams and Vera Kat. And works at FOX TV as a broadcast Technician. And give much thanks to the production team for allowing me to express myself.
