Stop Kiss Cast

Kandice C. Wilson (Calli)is a native of Baltimore, Md. After graduating from McDaniel College with her B.A. in Communication, Kandice has made acting for the stage and screen her focus; outside of the time she spends as a Copywriter for a leading sports retailer in Baltimore. She was most recently featured in a supporting role in the web series, “BailOut”. Kandice played the role of Romaine Patterson and other ensemble characters in Erase Hate Through Art's inaugural production of "The Laramie Project" and is happy to be working with the board of directors.

Asia Kenney (Sara) is proud to be making her acting debut in Stop kiss! She is a member of the Erase hate through Art board of Directors and would like to thank Ed and Grant for their coaching and support. Outside of her time in rehearsal Asia is a talent designer and seamstress.

Louie Silverio (Peter) is returning to the stage for the first time since his leading role as Mr. Bumble in Oliver Twist back in High School . He took Acting 1 and 2 in college and has been in a few indie film shorts. Always having an act for the spotlight, Louie is a DJ on the side as well as a professional food blogger/taster at @BmoreFood.

John Gurtshaw (George): It’s a pleasure for John to be taking on the role of George in this show. Last time John saw “Stop Kiss” was when his college did it several years ago. You may also have seen him in past performances through the area such as Benny in Rent with Silhouette Stages, Narnia, Barefoot in the Park, Company, and Beau Jest. If John is not on stage, he is either working for the government during the day or bartending at nights and/or weekends. John would like to take a moment and thank Ed and Grant as well as the rest of production team for the opportunity to be part of this talented cast. Special thanks go to all his friends and family who have been there for him, especially his wife, Kristin.

Kay Sweitzer (Nurse) is a nativer of Rochester, NY and is making her stage debut in Stop Kiss. She enlisted in the United States Army in October 1989 and enjoyed a career that spanned a little more than 21 years. While she served in locations all over the United States and one year long combat tour in Baghdad, Iraq, she worked diligently to obtain a Bachelor of Science in Business Management with a concentration in Human Resource Management. Upon retirement, Kay decided to continue to serve her country as a defense contractor. She is currently working for an IT consulting firm as a project manager. Kay enjoys reading, yoga, and painting in her off-time. She is also a den leader for a Cub Scout troop and very active in her church.

Ed Higgins (Detective Cole) after dying his hair red for his last role as the colonial in "Somethings Afoot" he has decided to keep this role quiet. Other role include Allen Swan in “My Favorite year”, Myterious man in “Into the Woods” and Captain Hook in Peter pan.
