Into the Woods Jr. Cast

Alex is excited to be playing Rapunzel's prince. He attends the 7th grade at Fort Zumwalt South. He has been involved in several shows including Newsies, Footloose, and Crisis of Captain Cross.

Anna Kleckner is excited to be a Narrator in Grace Beyond Gravity’s Production of Into the Woods! She is a 7th grader at Assumption School in O’Fallon, and enjoys public speaking. Prior to this show, Anna has been involved in Newsies, The Lion King, and Footloose. Aside from performing, Anna enjoys horseback riding, Robotics, reading, and hiking in the woods. She would like to thank her family for all of their love and support!

Ava Grossman is cast in the dual role of Rapunzel and Cinderella's Mother in Tree. She is a 7th grader at Assumption Catholic School in O'Fallon, and loves the color purple, animals, gemstones and theater. Her musical debut was in Newsies, and she was also part of the ensemble cast of Lion King and Footloose. Her family can't wait to see the production - and will be singing along to 'Into the Woods' forever more!

Avery is an 6th grader at St Joseph Josephville. Past credits include “Randy” in A Christmas Story, and “Lolly Pop Guild” in Wizard of Oz. Avery is very excited to perform the role of the Wolf in “Into the Woods Jr.” Grace Beyond Gravity’s first production. She also wants to thank her parents for all their support, and would also like to thank GBG’s Director Cathy Pescarino. Avery hopes you have a “howling” good time at the show.

Ceci Madden is looking forward to being a part of the Into The Wood Production, Jr. She was cast for the part of Cinderella’s Stepmother. She is a 7th grader at South Middle School in the Wentzville School District. She loves acting, singing, and playing the piano. Exciting news, she got asked to be a part of Element Church Youth Worship team! Her favorite roles have been “Rose” in Alice & Wonderland, Jr and “Angry Bird” in Press Start.

Dorthy is an 8th grader at St Joseph Josephville. Past credits include "Nala" in Lion King Jr and Duffy in Annie. Dorthy is very excited to perform the role of Cinderella in Into the Woods Jr Grace Beyond Gravity’s first production. She also wants to thank her parents for all their support and would also like to thank GBG's director, Cathy Pescarino.

Faith Gibbs is playing the character, “the mysterious man.” She is a 7th grader at Assumption School in O’fallon. Faith has also been a part of the productions “The Lion King,” “Newsies,” and “Footloose.” Besides theatre, Faith loves playing softball, and volleyball. She loves traveling and new experiences, and dreams of going to Australia and exploring Europe. Faith would like to thank her family and friends for their support!

Gabby is 13 years old and enjoys all things cats, art, and crochet. She is also involved in ballet, tap, and aerial silks. She enjoys being creative and hanging out with her friends. Her family is always cheering her on, and they are all very close. She hopes to be in more productions in the future!

Gillian Caldwell is very excited to be Granny in Into The Woods Jr. She goes to West Middle School, and is in 6th grade. She enjoys reading, writing stories, loom knitting, and doing logic puzzles. She was Cinderella in Cinderella in her school play, in 3rd grade, the teacher, therapist, and reporter for A Bad Case Of Stripes in 4th grade, and the candy man, and an Oompa Loompa in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory in 5th grade.

Gwen is a 7th grader at Assumption school. She enjoys playing volleyball and doing musical theater. She has been in several productions including her first role as "Les" in Newsies, Footloose, Lion King Jr., Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Frozen Jr. She would like to thank her family for their constant support and encouragement. Gwen is so thankful for the opportunity of doing this show with all the people she loves.

Jill is really excited to put on Grace Beyond Gravity’s production of Into the Woods. She plays the role of Narrator 1 in the orange cast and The Mysterious Man in the purple cast. She is in eighth grade this year. She has performed with her friends many times before. Including shows like Newsies, A Christmas Story, The Lion King, The Wizard of Oz, and Footloose. In her free time Jill likes to do aerial silks, tumbling, binge Netflix shows, and hang out with her friends. She would like to thank her family and friends for supporting her, and she would also like to congratulate the directors on putting on such an amazing show!

Julianna Busse is excited to be the Witch in Into The Woods Jr. She is delighted to be playing an essential role in a Grace Beyond Gravity production. Julianna is an eighth-grader at the accelerated Hazelwood East Middle 8th Grade Center. She has played ensemble roles in Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, Footloose the Musical, and has competed in regional and national pageants. Julianna is very grateful that the directors of Grace Beyond Gravity gave her this opportunity to star in such an excellent production and has no doubt that she, her castmates, and crew will put on a tremendous show!

Kate Kellmurray discovered her love of acting at age 8, and has been in numerous local performances since then. Her favorite roles included “Molly” in Annie, “Small Alice” in Alice in Wonderland Jr. and “Skunk” in Peter Pan Jr. She is super excited to be Jack in this production, and is loving her experience with Grace Beyond Gravity! Kate is a sixth grader at ICD and when she isn't acting, she enjoys singing, dancing around the house, reading and watching anime. Thank you to all of her friends and family that support her love of theater!

Madison Huff is in 7th grade at Assumption school. She loves theater, acting, dancing, and singing. Her first school production was the Lion King Jr, and she is looking forward to this production and future shows to come!

Palmer attends the 7th grade at ICD. He has been in two stage plays including the Wizard of Oz at St. Dominic. Palmer would like to thank his grandmother and family that encourage him to sing more often.

Piper Bishop is excited to be playing the role of Little Red Ridininghood. She has been in Annie, Wizard of Oz, A Christmas Story, and Footloose. She is a 6th grader at ICD.

Sydney Moore is a seventh grader who attends Assumption school in O’Fallon, Missouri. Theatre brings her such joy, and she cannot even begin to describe all of the ways that it lights up her life. She has previously appeared in The Wizard of Oz as well as Footloose, and she hopes to continue theatre for years to come. In addition to performing, Sydney is an avid reader and a prolific writer.

Theo is a freshman at Holt high school and will be playing Baker and Cinderella's Prince. This is his first show with this group but he has been in over 20 predictions in the area. Enjoy Into the Woods!

Trenton has been doing theater for over 9 years and has had a lot of roles he considers to be his favorite. His true favorites are Scar in the Lion King jr at Assumption theater and Simba in the Lion King jr at Lifelight youth theaters. He can’t wait for you to see him in Grace Beyond Gravity’s Into the Woods Jr.

Cece Johnson is very excited to be playing the Witch in Grace Beyond Gravity's production of Into The Woods Jr., and thrilled to participate in theatre during this crazy time. Cece is currently a sophomore at Nerinx Hall High School. She has been involved in theatre since she was little and doesn't plan to stop. Cece likes volleyball and cheering for the SLUH high school hockey team. She also loves all things artistic and loves telling stories of her own. Cece would like to thank her family for supporting her in everything she does and wishes everyone the best!

Elisha will be playing Jack’s Mother in GBG'S production. She is a sophomore at Fort Zumwalt North and has been involved in theatre for more than half her life. Some of her most recent roles include Elfriede in FZN's Letters ro Sala, Ed in Lion King Jr, and Jack's Mother/Pumpkin Cart Lady in OTW's Once Upon a Storyline. Elisha us a member of her school's ITS troupe and Scholar Quiz team. When she is not onstage, you might find her backstage working with costumes, or writing, whomever it be working in novels or dappling in playwriting!

Finley is excited to be performing in the production of Into the woods as Florinda. Finley is a freshman at Visitation Academy and is also participating in the schools musical ”Bright Star”. Finley has been involved many local musicals through St Dominic, Shooting Star Productions and the Young People's Theatre through St Charles Community College. Finley loves spending time with friends and family and is excited to be a part of the Grace Beyond Gravity community.

Maclain Hercules is excited to be a part of Grace Beyond Gravity. Maclain will be playing the role of Jack in the production of Into the Woods Jr. After a sports injury kept him off the field, Maclain gave theatre a try and has not looked back. Mac has been involved with several production through Assumption musical ministry as well as St.Dominic.His favorite role to date was playing Flick in St Diminic’s ”A Christmas Story.” Maclain loves to sing and dance, play volleyball and draw.

Gia Danhoff is a sophomore at St. Dominic High School and is extremely excited to be playing the Narrator in Into the Woods Jr. She has been in many shows past with director Cathy Pescarino and choreographer Kathy Blattel and you may have seen her as Nala in Lion King Jr. Gia would like to thank both Cathy and Kathy for making these shows an amazing experience for everyone involved. Grace is a 7th grader at Assumption school and this is her first production. She is excited to be playing Rapunzel in Into the Woods Jr.and would like to thank my parents and Mrs.Pescarino for helping me get to practices, supporting me, and teaching me how to be the best I can be.

Grace Rackers Grace Rackers is a senior at St. Dominic and is thrilled to be playing Cinderella in Into The Woods Jr. Some of her previous roles have been the Wicked Witch in the Wizard of Oz, Ethel in Footloose, and Specs in Newsies. She wants to thank her family for their constant support, our wonderful cast, and our amazing God! She hopes you enjoy the show.

Kana is excited to be playing Lucinda in Into the Woods Jr. She is a freshman at Fort Zumwalt South where she is involved in theater productions. She has need in several productions, including Fould Weather, Beauty and the Beast, Newsies, Footloose, and Crisis of Captain Cross. She enjoys playing volleyball and singing.

Kyle is a senior at Fort Zumwalt West. He loves wrestling and acting is one of hid passions. He describes himself as a shoe enthusiast, and loves ice cream!

Maggie Hembrock is a sophomore at Incarnate Word Academy. She will be playing the Wolf. She has been in multiple productions, and some of her most recent includes the narrator in The Good Times Are Killing Me at her school and Footloose through Assumption Music Ministry. Her hobbies include singing, playing violin, guitar, and ukulele, and cosplaying. She would like to thank her parents for always being supportive of her and her hobbies. She is so excited to be apart of this production of Into the Woods Jr.. Enjoy the show!

Molly Vohsen is excited to be Cinderella’s Stepmother in Grace Beyond Gravity’s Production of Into the Woods Jr.! She is a 7th grader at Assumption School in O’Fallon and has enjoyed doing different plays since she’s been in 5th grade. She has been a part of the junior cast ensemble in productions of Newsies and Footloose. Molly has also done roles in Lion King Jr production as well. She loves to sing, play volleyball, basketball and has a great imagination. Thank you to all my family and friends who come out to support her and the plays we put on.

Sadie Maassen is excited to play the part of Little Red Riding Hood in the production, “Into The Woods.” She has been in one other musical, Aladdin Jr., and was cast in Shrek Jr that was postponed because of Covid. She attends Fort Zumwalt North Middle School and is in the 7th grade.

Savannah is a 16-year old junior at St. Dominic High School. She is excited to be a part of the first production with Grace Beyond Gravity, her 6th under the direction of Cathy Pescarino, and 41st show overall. She is thrilled to be portraying the Baker’s Wife with this talented cast of Into the Woods, Jr. Savannah has also performed with Young People’s Theatre, St. Dominic Crusader Players, Assumption Musical Ministry, Debut Theatre Company, Overdue Theatre Company, O’Fallon Theatre Works, Wentzville Christian Church, and Stages St. Louis. She thanks Cathy and her amazing production team for all the hard work they put into the show, and her parents for everything they do to support her dreams. Savannah would also like to thank you all for coming and hopes you enjoy the show!
