Getting To Know... Footloose CAST & CREW

Kathryn Osburn is a senior at Gilford High School and has been doing theatre since third grade. Throughout the years, Kathryn has been a part of other New Hampshire community theatre companies including One Light in Tilton, the Winnipesaukee Playhouse in Meredith, Streetcar in Laconia, and RB Productions in Concord performing in shows such as 13 the Musical, Urinetown, Once Upon a Mattress, Hairspray, and Mary Poppins to name a few. Some of the roles you may remember her by in her time at GHS include Oliver in Oliver, Young Cosette in Les Miserables, and Summer in School of Rock. She is thrilled to be playing Ariel in Footloose for her last musical at Gilford High School.

Jacqueline Nash is a senior. She has performed in Mary Poppins with the Streetcar Company, Les Miserables with Gilford High School, and School of Rock most recently with Gilford High School where she played Rosalie Mullins. Jacqueline has been in 22 shows from 4th grade until now.

Alaina Osburn has been involved with tech since sixth grade of middle school with Footloose being her last production. She is very appreciative for every production she has been in and will miss it after graduating high school. Thanks for the memories!

Jesse Powers is a sophomore at Gilford High School. He has been in every show at Gilford since he was in fifth grade (excluding Footloose). A few of his favorites include playing Young Simba (Lion King), Emmett Forrest (Legally Blonde), Peter Pan (Peter Pan), Billy Crocker (Anything Goes), Kristoff (Frozen), Ryan Evans (High School Musical), and Freddy (School of Rock). He has also done a few shows through Street Car. His favorite among those being Mary Poppins, where he got to play Michael Banks. He has been in a total of 18 shows, and is excited to be part of another. His hobbies outside of theatre include gaming, playing the drums, guitar, and piano, singing, dancing, and hanging out with friends.

Madison Sands is a freshman at Gilford. She was a Gilmanton student before she became a Gilford student. She has been in several of the Gilmanton School Performances. However, this is her first ever Gilford High School theatre show. Madison has always dreamed of being on a bigger stage. She is excited to be in this production of Footloose. Madison would like to thank all of her family and friends for supporting her throughout her theatre journey.

Gracie Cook is a freshman at Gilford High School this year! Some of her favorite roles she has played at Gilford are, Pugsley (Addams Family Jr.) and Sebastian (The Little Mermaid Jr.).When she is not on stage she is co-managing the BG hockey team! She is very excited to be showing off her dance moves in Footloose! She hopes you enjoy the show, everybody cut footloose!!

Maria is a sophomore at Gilford High School this year and will be playing the role of Rusty. While not performing on the stage, she enjoys surfing, skiing, and dance. In the seven years of Maria’s theater career, her highlighted shows include playing Kendra (13 the Musical), Wednesday Adams (The Addams Family), Annie- twice!-(Annie), and Elsa (NH Premier of Frozen Jr.). She is so grateful she has been able to do this amazing show two times now. She has been in a total of 31 shows and is proud to add Footloose to that list once again.

Chandler Green is an actor and singer. He was born in Salt Lake City, Utah and moved to Gilford, New Hampshire in 2011. Chandler has been in many shows throughout his middle and high school years. Up into his senior year, Chandler has been in shows such as "Oliver", "The Secret Garden", "High School Musical", "Les Miserables", "Legally Blonde", and many more. Chandler hopes to go further into the acting world once finished with high school, as well as pursuing a career in emotional and psychological therapy.

Tyler Browne is an 18 year old senior at Gilford High School and has performed in a few Gilford school productions in the past. He played Simba in Lion King Jr., Charlie in Willy Wonka Jr. and most recently played Judas in Godspell. Last year, Tyler was a top 3 finalist at the NHTAs for his role as Bobby Strong in the musical Urinetown which he performed at the Winnipesaukee Playhouse. Ever since he could walk, Tyler began dancing, learning to irish dance, but for the last 7 years he has been training seriously at the Tara Little Dance School where he’s been trained in irish dance, ballet, and musical theatre. Tyler is extremely excited to finish his final year playing Ren McCormack in Gilford High School’s production of Footloose Jr. and finally flex his dance moves :)

Isabella is excited to be a part of Footloose with GHS, this is her 40th production. She started theater when she was 6 years old with The Streetcar Company. She has traveled all over New England participating in over 20 short films and will be working on her second full length feature as soon as covid allows. She loves to sing and dance too. When she is not acting, singing or dancing she is spending time with her family and animals. She travels in the fall and winter months training and racing sled dogs. She invites ya’ll to “Stay Rockin!”

Jordan Witham has been involved with both tech and acting for almost 9 years and has done over 20 shows. He is very proud of what he has accomplished and thankful for all the experiences he has been able to have at Gilford. Some of his favorite shows were (and still are) The Producers, Mary Poppins, Les Miserables, Seussification of a Midsummer’s Night Dream, Shrek the Musical, School of Rock and Godspell. He is happy to be able to finish his PAD career doing such an awesome show.

Riley is a freshman at Gilford High School and loves anything to do with music! She has been a part of Gilford theatre since fourth grade and can't wait to do more shows in the future! Riley’s previous roles include Annie in Annie, Wednesday in The Addams Family, Wendy in Peter Pan, and Ariel in The Little Mermaid. She also plays drums, piano, guitar, bells, and sings and dances. Riley is also a part of the Gilford HS choir and band, and does community band! She can't wait to perform in Footloose and other musicals in the future!

Caitlyn Costa is a junior at Gilford High School. She has been doing theatre since 6th grade. She is acting in the first production of Footloose in March and is doing tech for the other cast in April.
