Rebecca Barry (Ensemble)
Tenth grader Rebecca Barry has always lived for music. She has performed solos and sung with choirs at many school events. Rebecca started at NYSSMA at level 2, and skipped a few levels achieving level 6 in eighth grade She is currently preparing a piece for All-State. Rebecca has been involved in multiple All-County performances, and been invited to sing with the ACDA Honor Choir in Albany. She has also sung professionally, and today she participates in her high school’s chamber and vocal jazz choirs. Outside of school Rebecca sings with the Metropolitan Youth Orchestra and teaches piano lessons, through which she hopes to pass on her passion for music to younger students. Anna Cooke (Ensemble)
BioAnna Cooke is a Freshmen who is excited to perform in her first high school production. She previously performed in Peter Pan and Anything Goes at Garden City Middle School. Anna is in the New York City Children's Chorus and spends her summers performing in the Quogue Junior Theatre troupe
Enzo Cupani (Ensemble)
Enzo Cupani is grateful to finish his high school career in a Masquers production. As a junior, he debuted in “High School Musical”, however it is not his first performance. He has had the opportunity to sing on world stages, such as Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center and Radio City. He is the Treasurer of Tri-M Society, and is a member of Metropolitan Youth Orchestra Nassau County Chamber Chorale. His singing background has earned him All National, NATS Regionals, NYSSMA All County and All State for a bass voice.
Nicholas DeIeso (Ensemble)
Nicholas DeIeso is a junior who is ready for his third consecutive year in a Garden City High School Masquers Production. Last year, he was Alan in the High School Production, High School Musical, and the prior year, he participated in Mamma Mia as part of the ensemble. In eighth grade, he was part of the show Peter Pan Jr., appearing as Peter Pan. He has also participated in many vocal programs, such as the High School’s wonderful Vocal Jazz program the Tri-M music honours society, and Chamber Choir. Singing and chorus have remained an incredibly important part of his life throughout high school, and he hopes to acquire even more experience in theatre and vocals in his last few years here.
Sarah Fetherston (Ensemble)
SARAH FETHERSTON is a Senior and is thrilled to be performing in her final production at Garden City High School. Past productions include Judy (The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime), Ms. Darbus (High School Musical), Donna (Mamma Mia!), Polly (Play On!) and Alison (Brooklyn Boy). Last year she played Joanne in Rent with LITW. Sarah is in Chamber Choir, Women's Chorus and Vocal Jazz where she is Student Director this year. Sarah is the President of The International Thespian Society and TRI-M. She recently won first prize in the Musical Theatre category of N.A.T.S. She was a finalist in Regionals, and is moving on to Nationals! Last year, Sarah sang at Carnegie Hall With The Honors Performance Series. She also has performed in All-County Chorus in the Vocal Jazz Ensemble. Sarah recently wrote, directed, and starred in her first web series, lockdown. Sarah would like to thank Mr. Mayo, Mrs. Hauser, Mrs. McLaughlin and Mrs. Skalor for the wonderful performance opportunities.
Grayson Gardi (Ensemble)
GRAYSON GARDI is a sophomore who is beyond thrilled to be preforming in this year's Musical Cabaret. Last year, Grayson made her High School debut as Taylor McKessie in High School Musical. Grayson also played the role of Siobhan The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time during her Freshman year. Prior to that, she has been seen in all three musical productions while at the Garden City Middle School: Manal in Aladdin; Wendy Darling in Peter Pan Jr.; and Chorus Girl in Singing' in the Rain. Her love of performing was solidified in the fifth grade when she starred as Pamina in Stewart School's production of The Magic Flute. Grayson has also participated in NYSSMA and has previously been selected to All County. She has trained with American Theatre Dance Studio, Beyond the Stage Studio, Hofstra University Theater Intensive, and The Music Academy of Garden City. She also loves her Chamber choir, Vocal Jazz, and Theatre Arts classes here at the High School.
Emma Gardner (Ensemble)
EMMA GARDNER is a senior who is thrilled to be taking part in her third and final GCHS Masquers production this spring. Last year, Emma was seen on stage as High School Musical’s Kelsi, and prior to that, she was seen as Rosie in the Masquers’ production of Mamma Mia. As a freshman, Emma entered the elite Vocal Jazz Ensemble at GCHS, as well as joining the pit orchestra for the Masquers’ production of 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, playing the viola! Emma has participated in many different ensembles throughout her experience with music, and she is thrilled to continue on with her passion of music in college, as well. Emma has participated in: All County, Honors Performance Series at Carnegie Hall, LISFA, and instrumental All County throughout her musical career. Thank you to Mr. Mayo and Mrs. Hauser for orchestrating this musical!
Erin Gerasimovich (Ensemble)
Erin is a sophomore who is proud to be in her first performance at Garden City High School! Though she has performed in stage performances before, she is mostly a tv/film actress who’s work can be seen across the world. She has been taking theater arts in the school, is currently in the Women's Chorus and continues to work on her acting craft but on stage and on camera. She also was in Aladdin (Razoul) and in Annie (Molly). Right now you can see her on Apple TV +’s Dickinson as Anna Newman.
Molly Madigan (Ensemble)
Molly Madigan, a senior, is excited for this year’s Musical Revue! She has appeared in two other GCHS productions, High School Musical (Cyndra) and Mamma Mia! (Ensemble). Molly is the choral representative of the Tri-M Honor Society, and is in the Chamber Choir, Concert Choir and Vocal Jazz Ensemble. She also sings with the Chamber Chorale at the Metropolitan Youth Orchestra. Molly has been selected for NMEA’s All-County Music Festival for the past 7 years, NYSSMA's All-State Music Festival for the past 2 years, and NAfME’s All-Eastern Festival this past winter. Molly is thrilled to continue her musical studies, as she is planning to pursue music education in college. Enjoy the show and congratulations to all the performers!
Rebecca Melkonian (Ensemble)
REBECCA MELKONIAN, a Senior, is excited to be part of the 2021 GCHS Musical Revue. She was a Cheerleader and Dance Captain in the 2019 GCHS production High School Musical and part of the ensemble in Mamma Mia!. Prior to GCHS, Rebecca played Kathy Selden in the GCMS production of Singin’ In the Rain. She is a member of the GCHS Chamber Choir, Tri-M Honors Society, Vocal Jazz and has served as the media and production crew of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime at GCHS. She has been singing since the age of 4 and has performed at Carnegie Hall three times. In addition to singing, she has been dancing for 13 years and plans on pursuing a filmmaking career. She is so grateful for her participation in musicals at GCHS both on stage and backstage.
Gretchen Murphy (Ensemble)
Gretchen Murphy is a sophomore who is thrilled to be performing in her first Garden City High School Masquers Production! Most recently, this winter she led as co-dance captain in Chaminade High School’s cabaret production, Stages. In the last year, she has also performed in Chaminade’s Christmas plays It’s a Wonderful Life, and All is Calm, as well as the Spring 2020 musical; Newsies. In NYC, Gretchen has performed off-Broadway in The Addams Family at Riverside Theatre, and in Once On This Island at the Helen Mills Theatre, which was awarded Best Ensemble from the Junior Theatre Festival in Atlanta. Gretchen began her musical theatre interest at age nine, through five years of summer intensive training at Molloy College. In school, Gretchen is a member of Vocal Jazz and the Tri-M Honor Society. Gretchen has enjoyed rehearsing for the Musical Revue with her fellow GCHS classmates and looks forward to more Masquers productions in a post-Covid world!
Ryan Murphy (Ensemble)
RYAN MURPHY is a senior who is so excited to be a part of his fourth and final Masquers production. He was previously seen in The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime (Christopher), High School Musical (Ryan Evans), and in Mamma Mia (Sky). He has been a part of stage crew, lights/sound crew, the pit, and props/costumes in past productions. While Ryan was at the Middle School, he appeared in Singin’ in the Rain (Don Lockwood) and Grease (Roger). Some outside of school credits include Spring Awakening (Melchior), Rent (Mark), 13 (Brett Sampson), and Once Upon a Mattress (Sir Harry). Ryan takes in Theatre Arts IV, Chamber Choir, and Vocal Jazz. He plans on pursuing a degree in theatre. He'd like to thank Ms. Conte and Mr. Mayo for putting together this spectacular production despite the challenge of COVID. Break a leg!
Erin O'Connor (Ensemble)
ERIN O’CONNOR is a sophomore and she is so excited to be taking part in her third production at the GCHS. This past spring she was Ensemble in The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime. Last fall she appeared as Sharpay Evans in High School Musical. She is also a proud member of Tri-M Music Honors Society and the GCHS Vocal Jazz Ensemble and Chamber Choir. ERIN also participated in 3 musicals at the Garden City Middle School. In addition to her involvement with theatrics in school, ERIN also takes private voice lessons, tap dance class, theatre dance class, and a musical theatre intensive. She has also been selected to perform in 3 All County Festivals in the past years. Her theatre credits from outside productions include Winnifred in Once Upon A Mattress and LeFou in Beauty and the Beast.
Gianna (G) Palmeri (Ensemble)
GIANNA (G) PALMERI is a senior who is grateful to be a part of this production in their last year at GCHS. As a freshman, they performed as Jesus in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. They were a part of the stage crew of Mamma Mia! and High School Musical their sophomore and junior years, respectively. Additionally, they played the role of Teacher in Singin’ in the Rain at Garden City Middle School. Gianna is a proud member of the Tri-M Music Honor Society and the International Thespian Society. They also participate in Garden City High School’s Chamber Choir, Vocal Jazz ensemble and Marching Band. In past years, they participated in the All-County Music Festival and NYSSMA for voice. Gianna would like to thank Mr. Mayo and Mrs. Hauser for their dedication and the opportunity to participate in this program.
Anastasia Shaw (Ensemble)
Anastasia Shaw is a sophomore who is thrilled to be making her GCHS Masquers debut! She has loved theatre all her life, and has appeared in various productions at GCMS including Singin’ in the Rain Jr., Peter Pan Jr., and Aladdin Jr. She also practices acting outside of school, having spent 5 years at the Musical Theatre Summer Intensive Program at Molloy College. In 2020, Anastasia appeared in Chaminade High School’s production of Newsies as a both Bowery Beauty and a newsie. Throughout her high school career thus far, she has acted in a total of three productions at Chaminade. She is a proud member of Women’s Chorus, Vocal Jazz Ensemble, and Tri-M Music Honors Society. She enjoys voice and dance lessons. Anastasia is so excited for the opportunity to be a part of the musical revue. Break a leg everyone!
Robbie Treanor (Ensemble)
Robbie Treanor is a senior who, after years of professional vocal work, is excited to finally be a part of a GCHS Masquers production. He’s been singing for the Cathedral of the Incarnation for ten years, is in Chamber Choir, and is in Vocal Jazz. He is also a part of Tri-M, Garden City High School’s music honor society. Last year, Robbie performed a song long solo for Chamber Choir’s rendition of “You’re A Mean One, Mr. Grinch”. He also enjoys tea (preferably Earl Grey) and long walks on the beach. Robbie is simply elated to be appearing in his first consecutive (and only) GCHS Masquers production. Seeing as everyone’s gotta start somewhere, this “performer” was blessed with the opportunity to add his adorable act to the long list of higher quality productions seen at GCHS. 7 years ago, after tanking an audition for Baloo, he played Shere Khan in an elementary rendition of “The Jungle Book”. He has no other prior experience.
