The ETHS Dance Company is a year-round extra-curricular dance ensemble that features student and professional choreography. EDC performs in multiple showcases throughout the year. We host an annual Winter Dance Workshop in December, in collaboration with the Dance PE classes at ETHS. This performance takes place throughout the lunch periods during school. We also host an annual Wildkit Winter Dance Workshop for dancers (ages pre-k through twelfth grade). Our main show takes place at the end of February or early March. This showcase includes all genres of dance, including Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz, Musical Theatre, tap and more. For the past two years, EDC has been selected to perform for the Illinois High School Dance Festival. We’ve also hosted the IHSDF in 2018. Over the past four years, EDC has performed in the Giordano Dance Project, Universal Dance Association, Evanston Township High School Visual Arts Open House, Dance For Life’s Next Generation, & International Night.
