Director's Note

The plays that always draw me in deal with groups of people struggling due to issues rarely addressed onstage. Whether it’s women’s stories, queer stories, or more representation for POC, I’m always seeking new ways to bring their voices to the stage. So this play, which I have been involved with since the very first table read years ago, grabbed me immediately. So many characters all trapped and unable to move forward with their lives -  whether it’s due to a conflict of their own making or an outside force they are trying to escape. All these women sharing their pain (and ultimately strength) is a powerful thing. I hope you can find your own strength from their lives.
