Michael Kassin is an award- winning playwright whose plays have been produced Off-Broadway, at Actors Theatre of Louisville’s Humana Festival of New American Plays and at professional theatres across the country. His play Brother Champ was selected for the National Playwrights Conference and was later produced at the Mixed Blood Theatre in Minneapolis and in Los Angeles, where Mr. Kassin won a Beverly Hills/Hollywood NAACP Award (Best Playwright). Mr. Kassin’s work has been published in Best Short Plays and by Dramatists Play Service. In addition to his work as a playwright, Mr. Kassin has written screenplays for New Line Cinema and Tri-Vanguard Pictures.
