The Fashion Show has been going on for over 30 years.  It really has become an East Islip tradition; Seniors refer to it as a right of passage just like the prom.  Teachers, students grades 9-12 all participate - even our Principal, Mr. Bernard will take the stage.  Seniors get the spotlight that night as they are the final act, but it truly is a community event.  Businesses donate raffles as well as the ALL the staff members of East Islip High School graciously reach in their pockets and donate a raffle from each department in the high school.  THANK YOU TEACHERS, ADMINISTRATORS, SECRETARIES, TEACHER ASSISTANTS AND PARAPROFESSIONALS FOR YOUR DONATIONS.  This event is a team effort - the EIHS PTSA is the host and they partnered with SADD many years ago to be the partnering club as the activities chair.  As the partnering club we are responsible to get the models, organize and collect the raffle baskets and the get the student volunteers, pick the theme and decorate.  Graciously, the EIHS PTSA donates the funds collected to SADD Club for all its work toward its programs.   

This has been a beautiful tradition in East Islip.  LET'S KEEP THE TRADITION GOING EAST ISLIP - THANK YOU PTSA FOR ALL YOUR HELP AND EAST ISLIP ADMINISTRATORS FOR ALL YOUR SUPPORT THIS YEAR!
