Evangeline Kafka (Oliver)
Evangeline is thrilled to be playing Oliver in the show this year! This is Evie's third show with Do It Big, and she loved being July in Annie Jr. last year, but Oliver is her favorite role yet! Evie has also acted with West Deptford Center Stage and was Pepper the puppy in last year's 101 Dalmations, Kids! Evie loves to sing, act, and dance, and she also loves reading, organizing, and all things fashion! She dreams of being on Broadway some day!
Sloan Avery Salvatore (Oliver)
Sloan is excited to be performing in her first DoItBig Production! She studies ballet, tap, jazz, acro, lyrical, hip hop, and musical theater at Tricia Sloan Dance Center (TSDC) in Wenonah, NJ. Sloan also takes ballroom, vocal, and piano lessons. Her past performance experiences include TSDC’s The Nutcracker, Beauty and the Beast Ballet, and The Halloween Spooktacular at the Scottish Rite Auditorium in Collingswood, NJ. She also enjoys tennis, mini golf, pageants, and collecting American Girl Dolls.
Caleb Humeniuk (Fagin)
Caleb is psyched to be playing Fagin in his first DoItBig Productions!  He has performed with West Deptford Little theatre, and played Mayor Shinn in a homeschool production of Music Man.  Caleb enjoys improv class where he has developed characters ranging from grumpy Disney princesses to unscrupulous 'horse egg' salesman.  Two interesting roles were portraying both Jesus and Satan.  His portrayal as Satan was so convincing that he was asked to reprise the roll twice! He also enjoys writing sketches, playing video games, movies, and travel.
James Shields (Artful Dodger)
James is excited to be participating in Oliver ! as the Artful Dodger. He previously participated in three of DoItBig Productions shows ;) Les Miserable as Gavroches , ensemble in Shrek and 42nd Street as backstage manager. James has also participated in the Salem Community Theaters production of Annie Jr as ensemble. Some of his other interest are coding and blacksmithing.
Maura Kelly (Nancy, Strawberry Seller, Ensemble)
Maura is thrilled to be performing in DoItBig's production of Oliver. This is Maura's fifth show with DIB, having previously been in Les Miserables, Shrek, 42nd Street, and Godspell. She has most recently been seen in Beauty and the Beast (Ensemble, Milburn Stone Theater).
David Capaldo (Bill Sikes, Ensemble)
David is so excited to be back with DoItBig for his senior year and in his role of the villainous Bill Sikes. David was first introduced to musical theater, and singing in general, in DoItBig's performance of Les Miserables. Since then David has participated as minor characters and ensemble in Shrek, and helping backstage for 42nd Street. Since his first introduction to DoItBig, David has grown a passion and great love for musical theater and singing. David enjoys reading, playing a large variety of sports, participating and competing with his robotics team, spending time with his friends and family, and pursuing a career in engineering.
Catherine McClain (Nancy, Strawberry Seller, Ensemble)
Catherine is super excited to be appearing as Nancy in her 5th show with DoItBig! She has also appeared in Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Les Misérables, Shrek the Musical, and Godspell. In her free time, Catherine enjoys singing and figure skating.
Lydia Williams (Bet, Milkmaid, Ensemble)
Lydia is excited for her sixth show with DoItBig! Previous roles Lydia has performed include Disciple in Godspell, Townsperson in Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Townsperson in Les Miserables, Tulipa in Shrek and a featured singer in Schoolhouse Rock. Lydia has also performed in, I Am the Power, with Theatre 7000, as an actor, singer and dancer. Lydia’s hobbies include singing, guitar, cosmetology, and YouTuber.
James Batchelder (Mr.Bumble, Ensemble)
James has been a part of DoItBig Productions for three years as Thomas Mizer in School House Rock Live JR, Bert Healy and Franklin Roosevelt in Annie and Mr.Bumble this year in DoItBigs rendition of Oliver!
Joseph Williams (Mr. Brownlow, Ensemble)
This is Joey’s sixth production with DoItBig! His previous roles include performing as Disciple in Godspell, Suitor in Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Ensemble in Les Miserables, Little Pig in Shrek, and Frankie, waiter, thug, and dancer in 42nd Street. Joey has additional theatre experience, playing the roles of Stephen and Cornelius in, I Am the Power, with Theatre 7000. Joey’s hobbies include beatboxing, making a cappella tracks, singing, piano, guitar.
Rachel Insley (Mrs. Corney, Ensemble)
Rachel is excited to be in her fourth show with Do It Big! Rachel has performed in last year’s Godspell, as well as School House Rock!, & Shrek. Rachel has additional theater/dance experience, performing in the Easter Drama Bow the Knee from 2007-2018.
Patrick McClain (Mr. Sowerberry, Ensemble)
Oliver is Patrick’s 5th and final show with DoItBig. He has previously been a part of 7B7B, Les Miserables, Shrek, and Godspell. Patrick enjoys playing baseball, volleyball, and anything else athletic. With a little luck, you will be seeing Patrick perform on American Ninja Warrior in 2019. In the fall, Patrick will be pursuing a Master’s degree in Athletic Training at Rowan University.
Kathleen Shields (Mrs. Sowerberry, Ensemble)
Kathleen is so happy to be a part of Do it Big Productions of Oliver ! She has been in three other plays of Do it Big Productions. Les Miserables as ensemble, Shrek as Jill, and 42nd Street helping costumes and quick changes. she has also been in a production of Anne Jr as ensemble. Kathleen enjoys art, reading, and writing. She would like to thank the countless members of Do it Big who put in so much time and effort to make our productions perfect. Last but certainly not least, she would like to thank God for letting her be a part of the Do it Big family.
Jillian Dougherty (Charlotte, Rose Seller, Ensemble)
Jillian Dougherty, 13, Charlotte, Rose Seller, Ensemble Jillian is more than excited for her second performance with DoItBig! She played the role Pepper in Annie Jr. last year and fell in love with the group! Jillian has performed in local theatre and vocal shows for the past 5 years; she is a member of Encore Show Choir as well as Gloucester County Children’s Choir. Her other interests include dancing, baking, art, SFX makeup and spending time with her pets.
Stephen McClain (Noah Claypole, Ensemble)
This is Stephen’s 4th show with DoItBig, and he is thrilled to be back. He previously appeared in the ensembles of Les Miserables and Shrek and was seen as Rooster in last year’s Annie Jr. Besides acting he enjoys playing piano, reading, making his friends laugh (what can he say – he’s a natural), and playing and following all sports. Stephen also is an active piano player for his church’s music ministry.
Robert Hecker (Mr. Grimwig, Ensemble)
This is Robert’s first performance with DoItBig Productions! Robert has been performing for several years in local theater and church productions. Robert loves to write fiction, is a green belt in karate and is active in his youth group.
Arianna Cardillo (Mrs. Bedwin, Ensemble, Fagin's Gang)
Arianna is 13 and has been homeschooled for 4 years. She loves singing, performing and hanging out with her friends. She has been performed as “Gretel” and the “Fairy Godmother” in “Princess Who” while living in California for a year and in the Ensemble for “Hello Dolly” for Gloucester County Summer Theater. She is also a member of the show choir, Vocal Velocity, in Williamstown. In her first year with Do It Big Productions she will be performing as Mrs. Bedwin, part of Fagins Gang, and as part of the Ensemble.
Marissa Van Lare (Old Sally, Ensemble)
Marissa is so excited to be doing her second show with DoItBig. She previously was in the ensemble of 42nd Street which sparked her interest in doing more musicals. Marissa has been involved in plays for many years but 42nd Street was her first musical experience. Some of Marissa’s favorite hobbies include playing the ukulele and dancing. She has been dancing for four years but just last year she decided to become a competitive dancer.
Mike Hanrahan (Charley Bates, Fagin's Gang)
Mike is excited to be in his second DoItBig production. He has much appreciated the opportunity to be part of the 2017 production of Annie and this year’s production of Oliver. He has loved the fellowship and time of bonding with all the other actors and stage crew members. He enjoys playing sports and video games with his friends, and long walks on the beach.
Solomon Williams (Knife Grinder, Ensemble)
This is Solomon’s sixth production with DoItBig! Solomon’s roles have included Disciple in Godspell, suitor in Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Ensemble in Les Miserables, Little Pig and Guard in Shrek, and a Stan, Waiter, Thug & Dancer in 42nd Street. Solomon has also performed the role of Peter in, I Am the Power, with Theatre 7000. Solomon’s hobbies include playing music, singing and playing basketball.
Noelle Batchelder (Orphan, Fagin's Gang)
Noelle has been a part of Do It Big Productions for two years. This is her second year. Last year Noelle played an Orphan in DIB's production of Annie. Noelle is very thankful she has had the opportunity to participate in DIB shows
Angela Booker (Ensemble, Fagin's Gang)
Angie is thrilled for her first performance with DoItBig & her role in Fagan's gang! Angie has performed in her church's Easter Drama presentation, Bow The Knee, for the past four years as well as the Children's Christmas productions. Angie loves cosmetology and hopes to make it a carrer one day. Angie would like to thank the McManus Family for all their hard work; and she is so thankful for all the new friends she made at Do It Big Productions! Angie also thanks her family for all their encouragement & love!
Alexandra Conklin (Workhouse Boy, Nipper)
Alexandra is excited to be in Oliver, her first DoItBig production. She is having fun as Nipper, the littlest member of Fagin's gang. She performed in Mt. Rushmore Homeschoolers' Alice in Wonderland, studies dance, piano, and visual art. She also plays soccer.
Maria DeMora (Workhouse Boy, Ensemble)
This is Maria’s first production with DoItBig! Some of Maria’s hobbies include fencing, playing the violin, singing and writing. Maria also participates in 4H Dairy club and hog club.
Gabriella Insley (Workhouse Boy, Ensemble)
This is Gabi’s first time participating with Do it Big and is very excited to be here! She is also performing for her first time in the Easter Drama “Bow the Knee”!
Adelaide Kafka (Workhouse Boy, Ensemble)
Adelaide is so excited to be following in her big sisters' footsteps in her first DoItBig show this year! She made her stage debut last summer as a Chihuahua in West Deptford Center Stage's 101 Dalmations, Kids. Addy loves art and creates such amazing things!
Grace Kafka (Workhouse Boy, Fagin’s Gang)
Grace is excited to be a Work Boy and a member of Fagin's Gang in Oliver! this year! This is Grace's fourth show with Do It Big; two of her favorite roles with DIB were as Baby Bear in Shrek and Duffy in Annie Jr. She also had tons of fun in a cameo as Lazarus in Godspell! Grace loves to act and sing, she is a bookworm and an American history buff who dreams of being a historical reenactor in Williamsburg one day!
Mackenzie Hart Macy (Fagin's Gang, Ensemble)
Mackenzie is excited for her first performance with DoItBig!  Mackenzie has previously performed at Cumberland County College in Fiddler on the Roof and was a district winner and top 20 national finalists for Short Sermon Jr. at the 2017 National Assemblies of God Fine Arts Festival. Mackenzie has a compassion for others and loves children. She serves at Life Church in Williamstown, NJ in Children's church, nursery, video media, food pantry, Adopt A-Block community outreach, and will be going on her first missions trip to the Philippines this November!  Her other interests include traveling and spending time with her family.
PatriciaRose McClain (Workhouse Boy, Fagin’s Gang)
This is PatriciaRose’s third year being in DoItBig. She is really excited to be in this year’s show Oliver. She was previously an Orphan and a Maid in Annie Jr., and was the Dish and Ensemble in Shrek. In her free time she enjoys reading books, playing with her siblings, horseback riding, helping around the house and annoying her brother.
Finnegan McManus (Workhouse Boy, Ensemble)
Finn is thrilled to be back for his third DoItBig Production! Finn’s previous roles include Sandy in DoItBig’s production of Annie. Finn loves playing with Legos, going to the park, playing outside, coloring, and playing with his brother and sister.
Jonah Phillips (Fagin's Gang, Ensemble)
After being bitten last summer by the musical-theater bug Singin' in the Rain, Jr., Jonah is very excited to participate in DoItBig's production of Oliver. Having started with vocal lessons in 2017, he is stoked to get more experience with such encouraging and talented people at DoItBig Productions.
Julia Ricci (Fagin's Gang, Ensemble)
Julia is thrilled to be in Oliver, her second show with DoItBig Productions! She previously performed with DIB as a Tapper in 42nd Street. Other recent roles include Aunt Em in The Wizard of Oz Young Performers Edition with The Ritz/McMagical Productions, Shelley in Hairspray Jr, and Deb/Featured Dancer in Elf Jr with Moorestown Theater Company. She loves dancing and takes ballet, tap, jazz and modern.
Xander Schmidt (Fagin's Gang, Ensemble)
This is Xander’s first DIB production. He has performed in church plays in the past. Xander taught himself how to play the piano by ear. Xander enjoys singing, playing ultimate frisbee, volleyball and computer games. He would like to thank his mom, Mrs McManus, Lauren and Tom for all their hard work and support!
Isabella Shields (Workhouse Boy, Ensemble)
Isabella is so excited to be in Oliver! This is Isabella’s third time back with DoItBig. Previously, she has performed in Shrek the Musical and School House Rock Live. Isabella has a passion for cooking, art, dancing, singing and performing.
Hailey Shields (Workhouse Boy, Ensemble)
Hailey is thrilled to finally be able to follow in her sister’s footsteps and participate in a DoItBig Production! Her roles in Oliver are Workhouse Boy, School Girl and ensemble. This is her first performance! Hailey's loves dancing, singing, art, performing, gymnastics, cooking and horses!
Eddie Smedley (Workhouse Boy, Fagin's Gang)
Eddie is excited to be in his 4th production with DoItBig! Besides theater Eddie's other hobbies include: rc cars, Boy Scouts, pickleball, and weight training.
Javan Stone (Workhouse Boy, Fagin's Gang)
This is Javan’s second year with DoItBig, he was in last year’s production of Annie Jr. Javan’s other hobbies include basketball, Goliathon, and playing football with friends.
Tai Stone (Workhouse Boy, Fagin's Gang)
This is Tai’s second production with DoItBig; he was Mr. Bundles in last year’s Annie Jr. Tai’s hobbies include parkour, Goliathon, stories, and video recording.
Jackson Sullivan (Workhouse Boy, Ensemble)
Jackson is so excited to be an orphan boy and part of the ensemble in his very first theatre production! He loves spending his time at home putting on costumes and creating stories using his imagination, so this experience has been wonderful for him. He also enjoys playing soccer and baseball and spending his time outside.
Ariel Byrne (Workhouse Boy)
This is Ariel first big play. She is an orphan. She was in one other small play, with singing parts, at church. Ariel is generally quiet, and very watchful of everything before she participates fully. She practices independently, focusing on perfection of words and tone. She is passionate about the arts and has enjoyed acting and singing with DoitBig's Oliver! Ariel will continue learning through the arts and the various roles theater has to offer.
Christopher Byrne (Workhouse Boy)
This is Chris first big play. He was given the opportunity to be an orphan in Oliver. Chris started singing in church when he was 10 and has been in smaller church plays over the years. He has a natural charisma and enjoys the opportunity to learn! You can usually catch Chris in headphones, rapping and singing to his favorite tunes. He will continue singing and acting in the future.
Hope Byrne (Workhouse Boy)
Aka Hopey. Hopey, "has the energy of a bullet..." She is full of dancing and sings songs all the time! Hope has been in one other play at church. She makes up her own songs and routines and aspires to be a dancer. She has had the "very best time ever" learning all about theater with Do it Big Oliver! She will continue to learn all about the arts and theater as she grows.
Anneliese Cardillo (Workhouse Boy, Ensemble)
Anneliese recently celebrated her 9th birthday. She love gymnastics, watching movies and most of all CANDY! In Anneliese’s first on stage experience she will be one of the orphans. She is most excited to be part of this show with her sister Arianna and her friend Abigail.
Jacob Faleska (Workhouse Boy)
Jacob is thrilled to participate in his first year of DoItBig Productions Oliver! Jacob is new to homeschooling and new to play productions, but hopes it is the first of many! Jacob loves sports, Legos and being outside. "...Be strong, be men of good courage" 1Cor 16:13
Michael Faleska (Workhouse Boy)
Michael is thrilled to participate in his first year of DoItBig Productions Oliver! Michael is new to homeschooling and new to play productions, but hopes it is the first of many! Michael loves Minecraft, being outside and Legos. "With God all things are possible!" Matt 19:26
David Farrell (Workhouse Boy, Ensemble)
David is thrilled to be part of Oliver! It’s his first time on the DoItBig stage, but he loves performing and has enjoyed making friends with all the DoItBig cast.
James Farrell (Workhouse Boy)
James often sings for supper— and especially for dessert. It’s his first DoItBig production, but hopefully, not his last.
Jonathan Farrell (Workhouse Boy, Ensemble)
Jonathan is excited to be in his first DoItBig Production. His previous stage experience was with CCA & Friends Theatre in Julius Caesar: Framed. Jon also enjoys football.
Abigail Gray (Workhouse Boy)
Abigail is 10 years old and loves horses, riding her bike and playing with her friends. This is her first time in a play and she loves it.
Therese Lauer (Workhouse Boy)
Therese is thrilled to be in her first Do It Big Productions show making this her fifth time participating in local theatre. Therese enjoys dance, gymnastics and swim.  Therese appreciates the support and hard work of the DIB crew and being surrounded by other homeschoolers who love the stage.
David McCaslin (Workhouse Boy)
David is enjoying being part of the DoItBig cast. He has performed for three years as a party boy in Atlantic City Ballet’s Nutcracker. His hobbies include science, soccer, and chess.
Evangeline McCaslin (Workhouse Boy)
Evangeline is in her first DoItBig production. She enjoys fashion, doing manicures, and music.
Jonathan McCaslin (Workhouse Boy)
Jonathan is excited to be in his first performance with DoItBig. His past stage experience has been with Atlantic City Ballet’s Nutcracker. Jon enjoys science, especially engineering.
Olivia McCaslin (Workhouse Boy)
Olivia loves to sing and is thrilled to have her DoItBig debut as an orphan in Oliver! She has also danced with Atlantic City Ballet and The Rock School and performed as a mouse and a party girl in Nutcracker.
McKenna Phillips (Workhouse Boy, Ensemble)
This is McKenna's first time in any musical production, and she has loved the opportunity to learn from the talented and encouraging leadership at DoIt Big Productions! She loves animals (especially pandas!), paints, and enjoys spending time with friends.
Camryn Schmidt (Workhouse Boy, Ensemble)
This is Camryn’s first DIB production although she is looking forward to participating for many more years! She has performed in church plays in the past. Camryn enjoys singing, gymnastics, computer games and working at her mom’s store. Camryn would like to thank Mrs. McManus, Lauren, Tom and all the parents who have helped with this production.
