Anne of Green Gables Cast

Zoey Bittner (Marilla Cuthbert)
Zoey Bittner, a sophomore plays Marilla. Her previous show at CCS is Fiddler on the Roof and, she has performed Little Mom, The rhinoceros, Little Shop of Horrors, Midsummer Jersey, Abby, High School Musical Jr., and Dates at other schools. She would like to thank Mrs. Booz and Mrs. Hertzler for their time and patience, and the cast for being amazingly supportive and fun to work with. Her words of wisdom are, “Everything is figureoutable."
Lydia Constable (Josie Pye)
Lydia Constable, a freshman, plays the role of Josie Pye. This is her first production with CCS. She is involved in IHL and STUCO, and she loves to play the piano, listen to music, and hang out with friends during her free time. She would like to thank the Lord for opening this opportunity, her parents for constantly loving and helping her, and for Miss Linda Wolpert for instilling a love for Anne of Green Gables in the past years. Finally, she quotes CT Studd's famous statement, "Only one life, 'twill soon be past, what's done for Christ will last."
Grace Figueroa (Mrs. Spencer/Miss Stacy)
Grace Figueroa, a freshman, plays the roles of Mrs. Spencer and Miss Stacy. Her previous show at CCS was Fiddler on the Roof. She is involved in Ladies Ensemble, Worship Team, and IHL, and her hobbies include painting and drawing. She would like to thank her friends and family for their constant support, especially her parents and older brother for all the help and encouragement. Her words of wisdom are, “Do things that make you happy within the confines of the legal system.“
Emmalyn Foxx (Anne Shirley)
Emmalyn Foxx, a junior, plays the role of Anne Shirley. Her previous CCS shows include Into The Woods, the Living Stones drama team, and Fiddler on the Roof. Her hobbies include singing, dancing, and playing the piano. Emmalyn plans to graduate early and attend college for Dental Hygiene. She would like to thank her friends and family for always being so supportive and loving. Emmalyn's words of wisdom are, "Kindness is a language that the deaf can hear and the blind can see." - Mark Twain
Charles Hill (Matthew Cuthbert)
Charles Hill, a sophomore, plays the role of Matthew Cuthbert. His previous shows at CCS include The Miracle Worker, Into The Woods, Sinners to Saints, and Fiddler on the Roof, as well as several other shows in community theatre. He is a member of IHL, A cappella Choir, Band, and Fine Arts Club; he also serves as a chaplain. His hobbies include playing the piano, singing, reading, and running. He would like to thank his cast, the directors, and all the people who contributed to make this show a success. His words of wisdom are: "The trick is to not let people know how weird you are until it's too late for them to back out." - Anonymous
Rosa Johnson (Em White/Ensemble)
Rosa Johnson, a Sophmore, plays the role of Em White. This is her first CCS drama. She is involved in track and field and her hobbies include painting, playing the violin, and working with her farm animals. She plans to go to college for pet/animal care. Rosa would like to thank her parents and friends for support and encouragement. Her words of wisdom are from Psalm 18:2 (NIV): "The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold."
Jane Lambert (Mrs. Lynde)
Jane Lambert is a junior and plays the role of Mrs. Lynde. Her previous shows include Narnia, A Christmas Carol, The Secret Garden, Into the Woods, and Fiddler on the Roof. Jane would like to thank her directors for working with her and being extremely patient and energetic through this production, her cast members for being super encouraging, and finally, her family for being super supportive and for giving her rides to and from practices. Her words of wisdom are, "Do what is right, not what is easy."
Sarah Myers (Diana Barry)
Sarah Myers, a junior, plays the role of Diana Barry. Her previous shows at CCS include A Christmas Carol and The Miracle Worker. She is involved in Ladies Ensemble and Band. She would like to thank her parents for picking her up from rehearsals, her directors for believing in her, and the cast for always supporting her. Her words of wisdom are, "Always be confident in who you are and who God says you are."
Lucinda Sauer (Mrs. Barry/Ensemble)
Brianna Stomp (Ruby Gillis)
Brianna Stomp, a junior, plays the role of Anne's friend, Ruby Gillis. The previous CCS shows that Brianna has been involved in are Fiddler on the Roof and Into the Woods. She is in IHL and Ladies Ensemble and enjoys art and design. Brianna would like to thank her family for encouraging her efforts in acting and being supportive of her. Her words of advice are, "Try new things, even if you aren't sure you'll like it; that's how to discover what you are truly passionate about."
Aidan Stratton (Gilbert Blythe)
Aidan Stratton, a junior, plays the role of Gilbert Blythe. Last spring he played the role of Motel in Fiddler on the Roof, and he was also a part of CCS’s drama team, “The Living Stones.” He is involved with IHL and the A cappella group at CCS. He would like to thank Mrs. Booz and Mrs. Hertzler for their guidance, and the rest of the cast for making this an enjoyable experience. Aidan’s words of wisdom are, “How can the sky be the limit when there are footprints on the moon?” - Logic.
Justice Watkins (Moody MacPherson)
Justice Watkins, a 7th grader, plays the role the role of Moody MacPherson. His previous shows at CCS are A Christmas Carol, Rescue In The Night, and Fiddler on The Roof. He is involved in MS Basketball, MS Choir, CCS Concert Band, and the fine arts and his hobbies include singing, drawing, and playing video games. He would like to thank his family and friends for all the support and his sister for encouraging him to pursue theatre. His words of wisdom are from Micah 6:8: "He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do Justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God."
Emily Wenger (Jane Andrews)
Emily Wenger, a senior, plays the role of Jane Andrews. Her previous shows at CCS are The Secret Garden, The Miracle Worker, Into the Woods, and Fiddler on the Roof. She is involved with Fine Arts Club, TSA, STUCO, Ladies Ensemble, IHL, Band, Chaplains, and Worship Team. She would like to thank her friends and family who have put up with her chaotic schedule, and the rest of the cast who have made this play a truly remarkable start to her senior year. Her words of wisdom come from Dr. Seuss, "Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened."
