About The Emergence Project 2024

Clark Youth Theatre is pleased to offer the Emergence Project in our 2023-2024 Season! Clark embraces all aspects of the theatrical process, from working in the tech booth to shining in the spotlight. The Emergence Project offers the youth of Tulsa the opportunity to write, direct and act in completely student created material. Each student written play is 10-12 minutes long, directed by a separate student, and student acted. Experience the burgeoning theatrical magic of Clark Youth Theatre's student actors, writers, and directors in the Emergence Project!

Clark Youth Theatre, Tulsa’s longest running educational youth arts program, is now in its 45th year of providing Tulsa with high-quality educational youth community theatre and a safe place for kids to pursue their dreams. Clark Youth Theatre’s award-winning programs teach more than performing art skills. Children learn respect for others, self-confidence, and self-discipline. They learn from constructive feedback and are better able to recognize their own strengths and weaknesses. Children discover ways of improving and working towards new challenges, whatever they may be, whether academic, social, or personal, with confidence. Clark’s strives to help cultivate future leaders through theatre. The youth arts program offers a full season of main stage productions(including the Penguin Project for Artists who are differently abled), improvisational theatre and acting classes, and camps.
