As the world of TV begins to put on its pressures, Morty’s radio troupe begins to feel the
crunch. And soon, the powers that be have told Morty he needs to shut down, with the
building and all its occupants cleared out within the week. Morty can’t bear to tell the cast but
does confide in his singer girlfriend, Trixy. What he doesn’t tell her is that the engagement ring
in his pocket will probably have to stay there a while longer. However, the troupe soon finds
out about Morty’s dilemma and despite what closing means to their own careers, they quickly
decide that if the show must go out, then it should go out with a bang. The show of shows!
It’s the least they can do for Morty who’s given them a home, job and a place to work their
craft for many years. Talent, spontaneity, friendship and love eventually do find a way. And as
one life experience goes off the air, the prospect of a new one is about to premiere…but only if
the determination of a very skilled cast can bring it all together and put on…”One More for
Morty.”

Christian Fellowship Theater

Our Mission

The mission of Christian Fellowship Theater is to empower a generation of students by providing a safe place for them to grow in their gifts while enjoying the experience of theater.

At the heart of Christian Fellowship Theater are three priorities:

1. Our first priority is to operate as a Christian organization. We teach our students theatrical skills in an atmosphere where they are taught to glorify the Lord through excellence, both on and off the stage. This means that we seek out leaders who are following Christ, leaders who seek to honor God in their daily walk as they mentor our students.

2. Our second priority is to give our students a place to belong, a place to be safe, vulnerable, and compassionate. We fellowship together through worship, prayer, devotion time, drama games, and through our productions. Our desire is to create an atmosphere where relationships can be fostered as we grow together in Christ.

3. Our final priority is theater, the means by which we accomplish our first two priorities. Stepping onto the stage to become a character stretches the faith of many of our students and witnessing this transformation blesses both the parents and the leaders of CFT. We strive for excellence, not perfection. We strive for personal growth for each student and an established team unity.
