Chaparral High School

The Chap theatre department is part of a strong activities program at Chaparral and a critical part of a 21st century education. Through creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking we produce 5 major productions a year. The season includes a musical, a play, an underclassman show, and a student written talent show. There are a lot of opportunities for students to get involved either on stage or behind the scenes to learn job skills that will apply to any career path. The Thespian troupe also holds events each year including attending the state Thespian conference in large numbers and the international conference also.
