Mamma Mia! Cast

Here I go again! I am so excited to be back on the high school stage from my last role in 2011 as Gretel in The Sound of Music. In the meantime I’ve played Mergetroid Merchessan in Return of the Glass Slipper and Tessie in Annie. Thank you so much for coming and enjoy the show!

Lana Castle is a very musical person:, she loves to sing, and play her trumpet. She also loves acting, so being part of the musical is a huge part of her life. Lana has only been in one other musical production at Cambridge, and that was last year's Footloose as , she was the Principal. From her experiences with music and acting she’s found her way into loving Mamma Mia.

Lilli Castle is fourteen she is a freshman at Cambridge High School; this is her first play. In middle school she took part in the club Sing Jays.

Hailey Christian, apart of the ensemble, is very enthused to be in the musical Mamma Mia this year. She is in 11th grade and this is her first year in musical. Hailey has been in Spirit Squad for the past two years. Hailey is ecstatic about this year’s musical and hopes you thoroughly enjoy the production.

Amelia is currently a senior at Cambridge High School. This is her second year participating in the musical. In “Mama Mia” she is a bridesmaid. She is also involved in volleyball, spirit squad, color guard, show choir, and forensics.

Cora Griesemer is a sophomore encouraged by her family to pursue a music-based career like singing or acting. She has worked hard to help bring this show to you. In her personal life she plays trombone and piano. This is her second year in the CHS musical having been in the previous year in Footloose as Ensemble and Chimney Sweep in CD Players Mary Poppins . She has always loved music, practicing every day leading up to this program. Hope you enjoy!

Jetta Gullickson is a high school freshman who attends Cambridge High School. She has yet to take part in any past musical experiences, but is thrilled to be part of the ensemble in the upcoming Mamma Mia performance

Emma Hellberg is very excited to be in her first high school production; she is a freshman at Cambridge High School and is in the ensemble. Emma is involved with her community’s theater and was Rafiki in The Lion King and she was Mrs. Darling in Peter Pan. Emma is also in her school’s choir, band and jazz band, playing both clarinet and alto saxophone. Outside of music, Emma enjoys playing volleyball and her favorite subject is science.

Emily Herfel goes to Cambridge High School as a freshman. She loves singing and dancing. She is a member of Spirit Squad and is really having fun with it. This is her first musical and is very excited to be a part of this new and exciting experience.

Jonathan is a junior and is participating in the musical for the second time. Last year he was cast as Jeter, one of Willard’s friends, in the musical Footloose, and can’t wait to bring Bill to life for you all this year. Jonathan enjoys singing in choir and show choir and playing in the band and jazz band. Jonathan wants to thank his parents for always standing behind him in all his activities.

Caleb Kendall is a junior this year. He is glad to be a part of the musical. In Mamma Mia, Caleb is playing the role of Sky. Sky is engaged to Sophie. Caleb greatly enjoys musicals and has been in The Grinch, Urinetown, and Footloose. Caleb attributes his success to his biggest supporters, his parents.

Elizabeth has enjoyed watching the past musicals and is delighted to finally be a part of this year’s performance of Mamma Mia. She was in her first musical, Peter Pan, earlier this year where she played Tinker Bell. Elizabeth is in choir, band, and is most excited about Show Choir. She plays the piano, french horn, and mellophone. She enjoys youth group, volleyball, and soccer.

Audrianne Kieler (Sophie) is currently in 10th grade. She first caught the acting bug in her first play, A Year With Frog and Toad (First Wing Family Theater) at the age of seven. Since then her love for performing deepens with each production. Some of her favorite roles are: Kirsten/Kate - American Girl Revue (Children’s Theater of Madison), Annie – Annie (Sun Prairie Civic Theater), Gabriella – High School Musical, Jr. (Sacred Hearts), Veruca Salt – Willy Wonka (CD Player’s Theater), and Dorothy – Wizard of Oz, Jr. (CD Player’s Theater). If she is not on stage, she loves playing her two favorite sports of softball and volleyball. Hope you enjoy the show as much as she loves working with her awesome directors and wonderful classmates!

Bryce is 16 and is a junior at Cambridge high school. In his free time he enjoys working with cattle for fair and enjoying the outdoors. Bryce is involved in FFA and 4-H and enjoys showing at the county fair. He is looking forward to this year's Musical playing the role of “Harry”.

Caylin Klumb, who is part of the ensemble, is very excited to perform in the fall production of Mamma Mia. She is a junior and her favorite subjects are music and science. Outside of the musical, she is in the Cambridge High School Spirit Squad, Concert Choir, and Show Choir. For past musical experience, she has played as a cop in last year’s production of Footloose. She is best known in vocal performance and helps other students know dance moves. Caylin thanks her family, directors, and friends for showing her support. She and the other cast members will be very excited for their performances.

Carly Kriedeman is a Junior at CHS. She enjoys hanging out with friends and family during her free time. Carly is a part of the ensemble of this year’s Mamma Mia. Her favorite part about this organization is the togetherness and bonds that are formed with the people. She is very excited for this years show!

Martha is a sophomore at Cambridge high. Her favorite class is English and she enjoys drawing and painting as well. When she was 7, she was in the Sound of Music as Marta. This year she will be a bridesmaid in Mamma Mia! Martha hopes to be in the musical next year as well and can’t wait to see what it will be!

Hailey Last, who is in the ensemble, is very excited to be participating in Mamma Mia this year. She is in 10th grade so this is the second musical she has participated in since last year she was in the musical, Footloose. She has been dancing at Studio 3-D in Lake Mills for 11 years. She also rides horses at the Jefferson County Fair over the summer. She is very excited about this production and hopes you enjoy the show.

This is Trevor’s second year in a musical production after his debut in Footloose: The Musical in 2018. He is very excited to be a part of the musical for 2019- Mamma Mia

Katie Loether is a junior in high school and in the ensemble. She has been a part of the musicals Urinetown and Footloose. She really enjoyed being a part of these because she enjoys being with her friends, learning the dances, and eating snacks. Katie is excited for Mama Mia this year because it will be different for the cast and the audience. Special thanks to my mom and family for always supporting me and believing in what I can do.

Erika Lund is a junior in high school. She has been involved in the musicals Urinetown and Footloose. Her favorite part of the musical is hanging out with her sister and friends, and learning the dances. “Special thanks to my mom for supporting me throughout the long rehearsals and always believing in me!”

Bella Mazzara is a junior at Cambridge and loves singing and performing. This is the 13th show she’s been in and is very excited to share it with you. Bella is looking to become a music education major and hopefully attend a college near home. She can’t wait to share all of this production’s hard work. She loves working with everyone in the cast and always has a blast. She also hopes to see you next year and that you enjoy the show!

Jack Nikolay is very excited to be a part of the show, “Mamma Mia”. He is a junior at CHS and this is his third musical involved in the program (Urinetown, Footloose, and Mamma Mia). He has the role of playing Eddie, who makes the play a little more fun at times. Jack is also involved in cross country, student council, DECA, choir, and also coaches 5th grade flag football all in the fall. He hopes you all enjoy the show just as much as he enjoyed working on it!

Emma Nottestad, who is in the ensemble, is excited to be a part of Mamma Mia this year! She is in 10th grade and this is her first time being in a school musical. Emma loves playing volleyball and softball and spending time with her friends, she is also a part of DECA in school. Her favorite part about the musical is the music in it and how amazing the choreography is.

Hailee Sundquist is a senior this year at Cambridge High School. This will be her fourth time in the school musical after being in the ensemble her freshmen year in Legally Blonde, a cop her sophomore year in Urinetown, and Lulu Warnicker last year in Footloose. This year Hailee will be a bridesmaid in Mama Mia and she couldn’t more excited to perform in her last high school production. She would like to thank her family for always being so supportive of all of her endeavours, and dedicate her performance this year to her recently deceased grandmother, Delores Klingberg, who was a huge fan of the arts and never missed a single one of Hailee’s concerts or musicals.

Kacey Schmidt is a Sophomore and excited to participate in her second high school musical Mamma Mia! This is her 7th musical and one of her all time favorite shows. She is ready to sing and dance on the ‘Little Island’ Enjoy the show!

Sam has done a few musicals in the past. He has participated in 4 Junior plays (Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Charlie; Annie, Mr. Warbucks; the Wizard of Oz, Soldier/Uncle Ben/Munchkin Coroner; and The Lion King, Adult Simba) And he was Wes in last years high school musical Footloose. Sam was excited for this years musical and to perform in it. Over the summer he went to a Solo Vocal camp in UW Whitewater, and he feels that he has greatly improved. Ironically Sam is playing Sam Carmeachel in the musical this year. An architect who still loves donna but had to go home to his wife. In the events of the musical He is divorced and is excited to see Donna again and tell her how much he cares only to find out that she isn't in the mood for a man right now. Now he tries to win her love repeatedly before the wedding happens.

Thrilled to be in Mama Mia, Kendra is part of the ensemble. She has been part of a community theater for many years. She is most proud of her role as Wendy Darling in Disney’s Peter Pan. Kendra is a freshman at Cambridge High School and enjoys any social studies class. Kendra is apart of her school’s choir and band. She enjoys Swimming on the Cambridge-Jefferson swim team. She spends the majority of her free reading or studying.

Kaitlyn Tofte is a freshman student at Cambridge High School. She was born in Madison and has lived in Cambridge her entire life. Kaitlyn likes reading and writing. She hopes to be either an author or a journalist when she grows up. Kaitlyn is in the ensemble for Mamma Mia, and this is her first musical.

Karn Vethe is a senior at CHS. In the musical, Mamma Mia, Karn is playing the role of Ali, the best friend of Sophie. Karn enjoys singing and dancing. Her family encouraged her to join the musical as a freshman. It is one of her favorite activities to participate in.

Grace Will is a senior, and will be playing the role of Tanya in this year's production of Mamma Mia. She has also been a part of Legally Blonde, Urinetown, and Footloose as Urleen. Grace is involved in Show Choir, Choir, Forensics, the Musical, DECA, NHS, Flight Crew, and Spirit Squad. She would like to thank everyone who has been a part in making this production happen and a big thanks to her family for always supporting her. She can’t wait to perform with all her friends for her final year.

Luna Wisdom is a junior and this will be her second musical. Her first musical was Mary Poppins with the CD Players Theater. She is very excited to be a bridesmaid in this year’s production of Mamma Mia. Luna has been in choir her entire school career, and has participated in Solo and Ensemble events throughout high school.

Peyton, who is playing Donna in Mamma Mia, is very happy to be a part of this years musical. She is a senior here at CHS and this is her fourth year in the musical. She also participates in the CHS Show Choir and the chorus in school. Peyton got to perform in the musical, Legally Blonde, with her brother who graduated last spring, the musical Urinetown as Senator Fipp, and in the musical Footloose as Wendy Jo. She enjoys performing with all her friends and loves how fun it is. She will greatly miss making memories and performing with everybody. Peyton will also really miss the wonderful people she gets to work with and the amazing directors who work their butt off to make this show perfect. She thanks all the people that made this show happen, Mrs. Kindschi, Mrs. Gerlach, Lydia, Mr. and Mrs. Rapp, band crew, stage crew, and the lovely cast. Peyton also thanks the people who have made her past four years so memorable and exciting and can’t wait to come back to see more.
