About 45 Seconds from Broadway

From America's master of Contemporary Broadway Comedy, here is another revealing comedy behind the scenes in the entertainment world, this time near the heart of the theatre district. 45 Seconds from Broadway takes place in the legendary "Polish Tea Room" on New York's 46th Street. Here Broadway theatre personalities washed-up and on-the-rise, gather to schmooze even as they lose. This touching valentine to New York features characters based on the real couple who ran the real cafe as Neil Simon continues his exploration of the foibles and funny in the human comedy. Join the owners, patrons, visitors and performers in their home away from home as they travel through summer, fall, winter and spring. What a difference a year makes!

Our spring musical at BHS will be the uproariously hilarious "The Drowsy Chaperone" Thursday through Saturday, March 22 - 24 at 7PM and Sunday, March 25 at 3PM. This unbelievably funny show within a show is often described as "crazy," "madcap," and "the funniest show I've ever seen!"

In April, the Drama Club will once again take Manhattan as we hit the streets of New York City! Our tour of NYC will include seeing shows, museums, sight-seeing and workshops among so much more!
