Shrek The Musical Cast

Mason Richards, a senior, is eager to star in Shrek the Musical as Shrek. His earlier roles include Curly in Oklahoma, Aaron in By Candlelight, the Lion in The Wizard of Oz, and Bob in The Best Christmas Pageant Ever. In addition to theatre, he is in the choir and enjoys singing. After high school, he hopes to be in college theatre.

Avadora Baker, a freshman, has always been a fan of theatre. She is excited to make her onstage debut starring as Princess Fiona, in Shrek the Musical. She appreciates the support from her family and friends! She hopes you enjoy the show!

Caleb Heidelberg, a senior, has no previous acting or singing experience, but easily falls into place in the theater as the role of Donkey. Caleb loves actively participating as a leader in sports and music and hopes to continue being in a leadership position following high school

Payton Mabry, senior, is excited to star in Shrek the Musical as Lord Farquaad. His previous roles include Scarecrow in the Wizard of Oz, and Leroy Herdman in The Best Christmas Pageant Ever. He’d like to thank his parents, Michael and Brandi Mabry, and the entirety of his family and friends for their constant support, and he hopes you find the show magical.

Baylor McElhaney, junior, is very excited to perform as Ogress Fiona and part of the Ensemble. Her previous roles include Laurey Williams from OKLAHOMA! (2018), Adult Dorrie from By Candlelight (2018), and Dorothy Gale from The Wizard Of Oz (2019). She is honored to be the choreographer for the show. She would like to thank her wonderful mother, Kelly McElhaney, and choir director, Ashlyn Wilcox, for helping her get to where she is today

Charlee Morrison, a senior, has been doing theater since middle school. She will be playing the role of Dragon and Princess Lillian in Shrek the Musical. Some of her previous roles are Grace Bradley in The Best Christmas Pageant Ever and Lanie in By Candlelight.

Ryan Parson, a senior, fell in love with the theater department in his debut role as Officer O’Hara in Arsenic and Old Lace and then continued to play in Oklahoma, Wizard of Oz, and The Best Christmas Pageant Ever.

Richelle Buller is a senior this year and has been involved in theater for as long as she can remember. She’s excited to play Pinocchio alongside her castmates. Some of her previous roles include Amy in Little Women, Mrs. McCarthy in The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, and the Tin Man in The Wizard of Oz. She hopes that you enjoy the show while reliving a piece of the 2000s.

Ryan Daley is a senior and is making his debut in Shrek (2019). Ryan has no past theatre experience but is excited to take on the roles as King Harold and Captain of the Guards. He is looking forward to premiere in March.

Anneka Gills, junior, has never been a part of the theatre, but she is very excited to be participating in this production. She will be showcasing her singing and dancing talent as one of the three blind mice, a tap-dancing rat, and Mama Ogre.

Austin Crouse, freshman, was previously in The Best Christmas Pageant Ever as Elmer Hopkins. He plays trumpet in the band, loves theatre, and he is glad to be a part of it.

Lillian Morrison, a junior, has been in two other musicals - Wizard of Oz, and Oklahoma and one play, The Best Christmas Pageant Ever. She enjoys acting, singing, and playing the drums. She loves working with such talented and amazing people, and hopes to continue her acting career outside of high school.

Bella Wilson, 13, is in 7th grade at Bauxite Middle. She is excited to debut as a young Fiona and is thankful for the opportunity to participate in the high school’s musical! She enjoys competitive gymnastics and is in the Bauxite Middle School choir.

Landree Flynn, 8, is in the third grade. Outside of school, she enjoys taking dance, piano, and is always singing. Though she has had a few small roles in her elementary school musicals, she is excited for her theatre debut in Shrek as one of the young Fionas.

Cara Phipps, freshman, is excited to be in the production of Shrek. Her previous role includes The Best Christmas Pageant Ever. She enjoys working with all the amazing and talented people in the BHS Theatre program.

Kameron Puckett, a senior, is participating in his second theatrical performance starring as Peter Pan. He played the minor roles of firefighter and a shepherd in The Best Christmas Pageant Ever. He is excited to be in Shrek the Musical.

Gabe Yates, freshman, has a knack for theatre. His previous roles include: A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, A Little Princess, and The Best Christmas Pageant Ever. He has recently decided to focus on the arts. His passions consist of band, comedy, and acting.

Natalie Vocque, 15, is a sophomore. She is totally excited to be Gingy, Sugar Plum Fairy, and the bluebird. Her previous roles were a Munchkin and an Emerald City person from Wizard of Oz (2019). She is very thankful and proud of herself that she got to be Gingy in Shrek the Musical!. She would like to thank her grandparents Leah and Ralph Vocque.

Jordan Parsons is a senior and this is his second time for a theatrical experience. He is excited to work along with his castmates as the Big Bad Wolf and a different experience as the puppeteer of the dragon.

Kathryn Thornberry is excited to be a part of the production of Shrek. She has been in her school’s production of Murder at the Malt Shalt, Beauty and the Beast, and now Shrek. Along with theater, Kathryn is involved in many more clubs and sports at her school, including soccer.

Drew Stinson, a senior, is making her debut on stage playing the role of a Duloc dancer. She is excited to be involved in this musical. Her plans after high school are to attend the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville.

Haley Rickard, sophomore, enjoys acting and singing in the school plays. Her previous roles include ensemble in The Wizard of Oz and Gladys in The Best Christmas Pageant Ever. She also takes part in playing the bass clarinet in band. After she graduates, she plans to major in musical theater.

Gavin Roe, junior, is new to acting but has fallen in love with it. He is a student-athlete, playing football and previously playing basketball. He is pursuing his dream of being an NFL player but also desires to make a career out of acting or teaching theatre.

Caitlin Johnson, senior, despite never before having an on-stage role, she is proud to have Shrek as her first performance, but has had experience with stage makeup with shows such as The Wizard of Oz, By Candlelight, and The Best Christmas Pageant Ever; she is working to pursue special effects makeup as a career.

Nathan Buller, 15, is in the 9th grade. This is Nathan’s 2nd production at Bauxite but has been in the theatre almost his entire life. In the fall the production of The Best Christmas Pageant Ever he played Claude Herdman. Nathan is also on the football miner playing both sides of the ball. Nathan hopes you all enjoy the show!

Logan Thompson, a senior, is joining theatre for the first time performing in a play or musical. He is very excited about playing the role of one of the knights and piggies. He is looking forward to the premiere in March.

Tabitha Garza, junior, enjoys acting. Her previous roles have been in Oklahoma, By Candlelight, Wizard of Oz, and The Best Christmas Pageant Ever. She enjoys participating in choir and theatre. She is very thankful for her theatre family.

Hayden Griffis, a freshman, enjoys everything theater, choir, piano, and tap. Favorite stage credits so far include: Legles/Ensemble (Les Mis 2019), Tommy Boy (Newsies 2018), Cosmo Brown (Singing in the Rain Jr. 2018) and part of 19 others at the Royal Theater Since 2016. Hayden was also seen as Charlie Bradley (Best Christmas Pageant Ever) at Bauxite High School.

Max Chenault, senior. Although he has no previous experience in theater, he looks forward to making his debut in Shrek The Musical this upcoming March. He will be playing the role of a knight, and one of the three little pigs.

Gregory, a sophomore, loves band and theatre. Shrek is his first production! He is excited to be the White Rabbit fairytale creature and a Duloc Dancer dancing for Farquad.

Emilie Gann, junior, is very excited to play one of the Three Blind Mice in Shrek the Musical. Her previous roles include the Wicked Witch in The Wizard of Oz and Alice in The Best Christmas Pageant Ever. She would like to thank her amazing parents, Paul and Savannah Gann, for always supporting her.

Kenzie Cummings, sophomore, enjoys acting and singing in her school’s musicals and plays. Her previous roles have been in The Wizard of Oz and The Best Christmas Pageant Ever. She is also in the band and plays the flute. She plans to go to college and major in music after high school.

Ana Lupton, a senior, loves to act and sing on the stage. Previous roles for the theatre have been in By Candlelight, Wizard of Oz, The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, and Oklahoma. She also plays soccer and hopes to continue to do theatre once she leaves high school.

Jacie Blakley, 17, senior is honored to be the student director of Bauxite High School’s production of Shrek: The Musical. She has been involved in Bauxite’s Theatre Department since her sophomore year and has played in Arsenic and Old Lace, Oklahoma, By Candlelight, The Wizard of Oz, The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, and will be playing the role of Baby Bear in Shrek. Her favorite hobby is reading and is passionate about theatre arts. She is grateful for her family at home and her theatre family.

Tori Browder, sophomore, previously worked behind the scenes in the Wizard of Oz and By Candlelight in her freshman year. She enjoys working on set pieces and designs, and one of her favorite hobbies is baking! She is very excited to be a part of such a talented cast and wonderful production team.

Jaylyn Tucker is a sophomore. This is his first time performing and working in a production. He is very excited to perform and is starring as a duloc dancer. He dances in his free time, but this will be his first time performing. He is ready and happy to be performing and working alongside everyone. Please come and enjoy!

Ashton Lytle, a junior, has been involved in past Bauxite productions including Ellen in Oklahoma, Erika in By Candlelight, and Glenda the Good The Wizard Of Oz. This year she is eager to be a part of the crew in Shrek. Ashton hopes this will bring substance for her career at Bauxite High School.
